Innocase,whetherasa resultofa breachofcontract,breachofwarrantyortort(in-
cludingSANYO'Sorcustomer'swillfulactsornegligenceorstrictliability)shallSANYO
orcustomerbeliabletotheotherforanyconsequentialorincidentaldamagesincurred
bytheother,including,butnotlimitedto,lossofrevenue,profitsorgoodwill.However,
nothingcontainedinthisagreementisintendedtorelieveeitherSANYOorcustomer
fromclaims,liability,damagesorexpensesresultingfrombodilyinjury,includingdeath,
orfrompropertydamageincurredduetothewillfulacts,thenegligenceoforthestrictli-
abilityofthatparty.
SANYOagreestodefend,indemnityandholdcustomerharmlessfromanyandall
claims,liability,damagesorexpensesduetopersonnelinjuries,includingdeath,toem-
ployeesofSANYOandcustomerandtothirdpartiesandforpropertydamagetothe
extentofthewillfulactsorthenegligenceofSANYOorthestrictliabilityofSANYO
causedbytheactsoromissionsofSANYO.Customeragreesdefend,indemnifyand
holdSANYOharmlessfromanyandallclaims,liability,damagesorexpensesdueto
personnelinjuries,includingdeath,toemployeesofcustomerandSANYOandtothird
partiesandfrompropertydamagetotheextentofthewillfulactsorthenegligenceof
customerorthestrictliabilityofcustomercausedbytheactsoromissionsofcustomer.

INTRODUCTIONOFTHISSTERILIZER
Theunitmustbeoperatedasdescribedinthismanual,ifproceduresavenotfollowed,
equipmentdamageandpersonnelinjurycanoccur.
Thismanualcontainsimportantinformationonproperuseandmaintenanceofthissteri-
lizer.Alloperatorsandsupervisorsareurgedtocarefullyreviewandbecomefamiliar
withthewarnings,cautionsandinstructionscontainedherein.
Becausehighpressuredandhightemperaturesteamwillissuefromthechamberinthe
operation,iftheydonotreviewandnotfamiliarwiththewarnings,cautionsandinstruc-
tionscontainedherein,theyarenotpermittooperatethissterilizer.
Anyalterationofthesterilizerwhichaffectsitsdesigncouldvoidthewarrantyandmay
violatestateandlocalregulationsorjeopardizeinsurancecoverage.

WARNING:
1Alwaysusethelifterwhenliftingtheunittopreventpersonnel
injuryorequipmentdamage.
2Usetheequipmentsuchastheelevatorforliftingtheunitfrom
onefloortoanotherfloor.
Whenmovingtheunit,pushthecornerpartofunitfrontside
asbelow,

thesterilizer.Failuretotakethisprecaution,itcouldthe
damageofthesterilizerandeventipitover,causingsevere
personnelinjury.

sterilizerishotorinoperation.
Theycouldbeseriouslyburned,electric-shockedand

Disconnectsystemfromthesupplytoavoidelectricshock
andwait20minutestoavoidburnhazardbeforecleaning,
repairingoradjusting.

willnotletsteamthrough.Failuretotakethisprecaution

malfunctionprematurely.Also,whenfinishedusingtheunit
fortheday,discardallleftoverwaterinsidethechamber,
wipetheinsideofthechambercleanandallowittodry.

takethisprecautioncouldresultinissuingofhotandpres-
surizedsteamfromthevalve,thatcouldbeextreamlydan-
gerous.Also,sincethewaterinsidethechamberisquitehot
immediatelyaftersterilizationfinishes,allowplentyoftime
forittocooldownbeforediscardingoldwater.
,29Neverpourwaterontheunit.Watercouldleakintoinsideof
theuintandcauseelectricalshockormalfunctions.

thesterilizeditemsandleavethedooropeningforfive
minutesormoretoallowtheunittocooloffbeforestarting
thenextsterilizingcycle.

erly.
•Placesterilizingglasscontainerssuchasbeakers,triangular

(1)Removetheexhausttankfromthemainunitand,fromthe
openingatthetop, fillthetankwithwateruptotheLOW
levelmark.
