MORE THAN A SOUNDBAR
TOP VIEW: BUTTONS ON CARVAAN MUSICBAR
1
To power on and enjoy the Carvaan Musicbar follow the steps below:
1. Connect the Power Adapter to the wall plug and the other end to
“DC in” port on the back panel of the device
2. Switch on the power from wall plug
3. Click on the “Power” button on the top panel of the
device/remote to power it on
4. Enjoy your music on the Carvaan Musicbar
Note:
1.Use supplied power adapter only
2.The device requires to be connected to AC power with the bundled adapter at all times for operation
3. When device is connected to a power source, the power button on the device panel is backlit in red
colour

MODES
To choose a mode, press the corresponding mode button on the top
panel of the device/remote
When the device is powered on and a mode is selected, the power
button and mode button on the device are backlit in green and blue
colour respectively
SAREGAMA
1000 pre-loaded evergreen songs by legends like Kishore Kumar, Lata
Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Mohammed Rafi and Mukesh; this is the
default mode on first power on / reset
Press 'Next/Previous' button on remote/unit for 3-4 seconds to move
10 songs forward/backward respectively
FM
Listen to local FM stations. To tune to FM, press FM mode button
To auto tune FM stations, follow the steps:
Step 1: Press play/pause button for 3-4 seconds
Step 2: Searching for all FM signals will start. You will hear a
searching sound and each FM station will play for approx. 3-4
seconds till all stations are tuned
Step 3: Press next/previous button to go to next/previous station
FM frequency: 87.5 to 108 MHZ
FM reception varies across locations and Carvaan models.
Note: It is recommended that the lose end of the connected antenna is placed near
a window for improved FM reception

Pair your mobile phone/tablet with the Carvaan Musicbar. Enjoy
songs stored on your personal mobile phone/tablet on the device

KARAOKE
Use the mic to sing along while using the Karaoke mode on Carvaan Musicbar.
Karaoke mode works along with all other modes.
To connect the mic and Carvaan Musicbar, follow the steps below:
a. Insert 2 AA batteries in the battery compartment
b. Turn on the mic by sliding the button upwards
c. Press Karaoke mode button on the unit/ remote
Note - mic will connect automatically to the unit in 5-10 seconds
d. Tap on mic to check if the mic and unit are connected
e. Enjoy singing your favorite tracks
*You can use both the mic simultaneously to enjoy duet singing
To replace the mic battery:
a. Open the battery compartment
b. Insert fresh AA batteries with the correct polarity (-/+)
c. Close the battery compartment
d. Discard the used battery
To use Karaoke on your phone via Bluetooth / Aux:
a. Connect your phone & the unit via the desired mode (Bluetooth or Aux cable)
b. Press Karaoke mode button on the unit / remote (ensure unit & mic are connected,
detailed above)
c. Go to YouTube app / www.youtube.com on your phone. Search your favourite song &
start singing
To use Karaoke on your TV via Aux / HDMI / Co-axial:
a. Connect your TV & the unit via the desired mode (HDMI / Co-axial / Aux cable)
b. Press Karaoke mode button on the unit / remote (ensure unit & mic are connected,
detailed above)
c. Go to YouTube app / www.youtube.com on your TV. Search your favourite song &
start singing
You can also use Karaoke in Saregama , FM or USB mode in the same way as
mentioned above

a. Press the USB/AUX button on the unit to switch between USB and AUX mode
OR
Press USB or AUX mode button on the remote to activate respective modes
b. Plug in a USB into the USB port on the back panel of Carvaan
Musicbar to enjoy your personal collection of songs
KARAOKE MODES
This offers you a perfect setting for your karaoke track & voice
To set, press the corresponding mode button on the remote
BALANCE: The Karaoke track & your voice are balanced at the same level
VOCAL: Your voice will be louder than the Karaoke track
MUSIC: The Karaoke track will be louder than your voice
***Supports HDMI ARC only

c. You can also connect an Aux cable in the Aux IN port on the back
panel of the device to play songs from your phone / tablet / TV / laptop

USB is the default mode on first power on / reset
Press the HDMI /Co-axial button on the unit to switch between HDMI and
Co-axial mode
OR
Press HDMI or Co-axial mode button on the remote to activate respective
modes

To connect the Carvaan Musicbar to TV via HDMI
a. Press the HDMI mode button on the unit / remote
b. Plug one end of the HDMI cable to HDMI (ARC) port on the TV and the other
end to the HDMI port on the back panel of the device
c. Turn on the TV

In case the TV is not compatible with HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC),
connect a Co-Axial cable from the TV to the device to enjoy the TV sound
output on device speakers
a. Press the Co-axial mode button on the unit / remote
b.Connect the Co-Axial cable to the back panel of device and the audio out port on
TV
c. Turn on the TV
Note: Your TV Audio Settings need to set to ‘External Speakers’ and disable TV speakers

AUDIO MODES
BASS: Increase / decrease the volume of the base / low frequency notes
TREBLE: Increase / decrease the volume of the treble / high frequency notes
To set an audio mode, press the corresponding mode button on the remote
MUSIC: Create a musical concert like experience while playing your
favourite songs
MOVIE: Enjoy a true cinematic effect while watching a movie
NEWS: Hear your TV programs and news anchors – loud, crisp and clear
3D: Play games / watch sports in a stadium like environment
SAREGAMA CARVAAN APP
Download “Saregama Carvaan App” from the Apple/ Android store.
Use the app to browse through the collection of songs available on
Carvaan Musicbar. You can even search for a song or create playlists
of songs you would like to enjoy on Carvaan Musicbar
Refer to the enclosed insert for steps on how to connect the app and
Carvaan Musicbar unit.

RESET CARVAAN MUSICBAR
a. Power on your Carvaan Musicbar
b. Press the USB/AUX button on the unit for 3-4 seconds
c. Your Carvaan Musicbar is reset to its original factory settings.
All saved FM stations will be erased

SAFETY HANDLING
1. CARE FOR PRODUCT (MUSICBAR & SUB-WOOFER)
a. Keep the product away from dust and excessive heat (heat registers, stoves
etc.
b. Prevent spillage of water/any other liquid as this can cause
failure of the product or could prove to be a potential fire hazard
c. Clean the unit with a dry cloth only
d. Do not walk on or pinch the power cord close to the plug
e. Do not use a different brand of power supply cable, use the bundled power
supply cable only
f. Remove the remote battery when it is not used for longer duration
g. Do not mix different brands or types of batteries in the remote
h. Turn off the power source when not in use

a. Use attachments/accessories as specified by the manufacturer

Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household
waste. Please follow disposal and recycling instructions issued by the
concerned local authority.
Home service and Pick-up warranty are provided. Home service warranty
requires customers to have a technician visit their home and service the
product. This type of warranty can be availed by customers in locations where
there is an authorised service technician available. Pick-up warranty service
requires that the product along with the original invoice to be picked up from
customer's location, at sole cost and responsibility of the company.
Once the Product is serviced/repaired/replaced, the company shall be
responsible to deliver the product back to the customer.
WARRANTY TYPE
Carvaan Musicbar comes with a 1 year Warranty on all parts, excluding
accessories. This includes servicing / repair or replacement of non-functional
parts. The warranty does not apply and does not cover the following:
• Liability for loss of data/content loaded in the product due to misuse or
tampering.
