Symbol Function Description
12vPowerOn/OFF Thisswitchturnson (oroff)the12-volt powertoallcircuits.
Note: asthisswitchworksinconjunction witharelay(that uses
around 40mAtooperate),it shouldonlybe used forrelatively
short periodsoftimewhileusing the caravan (i.e. whengoing
outforthe day).
Forlong-termisolation of the12 volt power, pleaseplacethe Car
/ Van selectorswitchon the ESM2004 powersupplyunitinthe
centre(Off)position (i.e.during storage).
InternalPump Thisswitchturnson powertothe internalwaterpumpreadyfor
use. It can be used toturnoff the pumpovernighttoavoidany
noisefromthe pump.
Note: Agreen indicatorlampwillilluminatewithinthe bottomleft
cornerofthebatterygauge when the pumpfeed isswitched on.
External Pump Incaravanswithan additional (external)pump,thisswitchwill
be atwo-wayswitchwithacentreoff position.Thisallowsthe
selection of eitherthe internalpump(switchup –Tap symbol)or
externalpump(switchdown–Tanksymbol).
Battery Leveltest Thisswitchisused todisplaythe batteryvoltage level.Press
and holdthe switchtodisplaythe batterylevelon the gauge.
The green region indicatesabattery withagood charge, the
yellowregion indicatesabatterywithan adequatecharge, and
the red region indicatesabatterythatrequirescharging.
WaterLeveltest Thisswitchisused todisplaythe freshwaterlevel within the
onboardwatertank.Press and holdthe switchtodisplaythe
waterlevelon the gauge.
The gauge indicatesthe waterlevelon an ‘Empty-¼-½-¾-
Full’scale,withemptybeing onthe left.
Whenusing the optionalremotecontrol unit, pleaseensurethe controlpanel ‘12vPower’
switchisintheONposition and the separatelylocated ‘Entry light’switchisinthe OFF
position forcorrectoperation ofthe remotecontrol (asthe remotecontroloperatesin
parallelwiththeseswitches). The remotecontrolbutton[I] controlsthe Entry Light and
button [II]controlsthe 12vPower.
Ifyoudo not wishtousethe remotecontrol, orthe remotebatteryisflat/remotehas
been lost, you can of coursereturntomanualoperationbyusing the manualswitches.
Ifthe powerhasbeen turned off using theremotecontroland then the remotehasbeen
lost / batterybecomeflatyou willneed tocarryoutthe following toreset the caravan:
Placethe Car/Van selectorswitchon the ESM2004 powersupplyunitinthe centre
(OFF)position and turnthe chargerswitchtothe OFFposition, wait5secondsand then
turnthe charger&Car/ Van selectorswitchback on.
The UH**** numberon the back of the remotecontrol isthe remotecode number.
Pleasekeep arecordofthisnumberincaseyou need toorderareplacementor
additionalremotecontrol.
