Conexión eléctrica ADVERTENCIA
Una conexión a tierra incorrecta puede ocasionar un riesgo de descarga eléctrica. Si el cable de alimentación está dañado,

Este refrigerador debe estar debidamente conectado a tierra para su seguridad.
Use y no modifique en ningún modo el cable de alimentación y enchufe que incorpora el frigorífico.
Este frigorífico requiere una toma de corriente estándar de 220-240 V A.C. ~ / 50Hz con conexión a tierra.
Este refrigerador no está diseñado para ser utilizado con un inversor.
El cable debe estar asegurado detrás del refrigerador y no debe quedar expuesto o colgando para evitar lesiones
accidentales.
Nunca desenchufe el refrigerador tirando directamente del cable de alimentación. Sujete firmemente el enchufe y sáquelo
recto del receptáculo.
No use alargadores o conectores múltiples con este aparato. Si el cable de alimentación es demasiado corto, solicite a un
electricista o técnico de servicio calificado que instale una toma de corriente cerca del dispositivo. El uso de un cable de
extensión puede afectar negativamente el rendimiento de la unidad.
REQUISITOS DE INSTALACIÓN
Ubicación
Al seleccionar una ubicación para su frigorífico, debe asegurarse de que la superficie de apoyo sea plana y firme, y de que la
estancia esté bien ventilada.
Evite ubicar su frigorífico cerca de fuentes de calor (ej. cocina, caldera o radiador). También evite la exposición a la luz solar
directa. Evite colocar el frigorífico en zonas húmedas como un garaje, un baño o una zona anexa a la casa. Este producto no
es encastrable. Cuando su frigorífico está funcionando, la rejilla de la parte posterior, así como los laterales, pueden calentarse.
Permita un espacio libre de al menos 30 mm tras el frigorífico y de 300 mm a cada lado para una correcta ventilación.
No cubra el frigorífico de ninguna manera.

Nivelación del frigorífico
Si el frigorífico no está nivelado, la alineación de la puerta y del sellado magnético de la misma se verá afectada y puede
causar que el frigorífico no funcione incorrectamente. Una vez que el frigorífico se coloca en su ubicación final, ajuste las patas
niveladoras en el frente girándolas.
Limpieza antes del uso
Limpie el interior del frigorífico con una solución débil de bicarbonato de soda. Luego enjuague con agua tibia usando una
esponja o paño húmedo. Lave las cestas y estantes con agua tibia y jabón y seque completamente antes de volver a colocarlos
en el congelador. Las partes externas del congelador se pueden limpiar con cera para pulir

Antes de enchufar

Antes de almacenar alimentos en su frigorífico, enciéndalo y espere 24 horas, para asegurarse de que esté funcionando
correctamente y para permitir que el los compartimentos alcancen la temperatura correcta..
INTRODUCCIÓN
Antes del uso
Lea atentamente estas instrucciones y las pautas de seguridad de este manual antes de utilizar su nuevo frigorífico. El
frigorífico es para uso doméstico en interiores solamente.
Descripción general del refrigerador
Primer encendido
1. Limpie las partes del refrigerador con agua tibia que contenga un poco de detergente neutro y con agua limpia, y
séquelas. Nota: Las partes eléctricas del refrigerador solo pueden limpiarse con un paño seco.
2. Conecte el cable de corriente. El compresor comienza a funcionar.
3. Abra la puerta 30 minutos más tarde, si la temperatura en el refrigerador disminuyó notablemente, muestra que el
sistema del refrigerador funciona bien. Cuando el refrigerador funciona por un período de tiempo, el controlador de
temperatura establecerá automáticamente la temperatura dentro de los límites que abre.
Introducción al panel de control
La pantalla se encuentra en el centro de la puerta del refrigerador.
Fridge (Nevera): para ajustar la temperatura del refrigerador
Freezer (Congelador): para ajustar la temperatura del congelador
Function (Función): para elegir entre “Enfriamiento rápido”, “Congelación rápida”, “Smart ECO” y “Vacaciones”
OK (Ok): para ingresar o salir de la función existente
Ajuste de funciones
★ Primer uso
Cuando el dispositivo se conecta a la alimentación eléctrica por primera vez, la pantalla se encenderá durante 2
segundos antes de que se normalice y el dispositivo funcionará con la función “Smart ECO”.
★ Control de pantalla
Cuando la puerta del refrigerador está cerrada y no se pulsa ningún botón en 3 minutos, la luz de la pantalla se
apaga. Para encender la pantalla, abra la puerta del refrigerador o pulse en cualquier botón.

★ Ajuste de temperatura
1) Pulse el botón “Fridge (refrigerador)” o “Freezer (congelador)” y cuando parpadee, se pueden configurar las temperaturas;
Cada vez que pulse el botón, la temperatura cambia en 1ºC (la pantalla muestra la temperatura que corresponda) según la
siguiente secuencia:
Refrigerador: 2 ℃ → 3 ℃ → 4 ℃ → 5 ℃ → 6 ℃ → 7 ℃ → 8 ℃ → APAGADO → 2 ℃ …
Congelador: -24 ℃ → -23 ℃ → -22 → -21 ℃ → -20 ℃ → -19 ℃ → -18 ℃ → -17 ℃ → -16 ℃ → -24 ℃ …
Nota: Las temperaturas no son seleccionables en las funciones de Enfriamiento rápido (fast cooling), Congelación rápida (fast
freezing), Smart ECO y Modo vacaciones.
2) Para confirmar el ajuste de temperatura, si no pulsa ningún botón durante 5 seg., el botón deja de parpadear y la
temperatura seleccionada en ese momento queda establecida.
★ Función Smart ECO
En este modo se regula de forma automática la temperatura interna para un funcionamiento óptimo. Las temperaturas (4 ℃ en
el refrigerador y -18 ℃ en el congelador) no se pueden cambiar. Puede pulsar el botón de zona de temperatura para verificar la
temperatura en cada momento.
1) Para activar esta función:
Pulse "Function (función)" hasta que parpadee el icono correspondiente y luego haga clic en "Ok".
2) Para desactivar esta función.
Pulse "Function (función)" hasta que parpadee el icono correspondiente y luego haga clic en "Ok" (la luz se apaga).
Las temperaturas de cada cámara vuelven entonces al valor anterior a la función Smart ECO.
Si activa las funciones Enfriamiento rápido, Congelación rápida o Modo Vacaciones, la función Smart ECO se detiene.
★ Enfriamiento rápido (Fast Cooling)
En el modo “Enfriamiento rápido” la temperatura del refrigerador baja a 2ºC y no se puede modificar mientras esté activo. Use
esta función únicamente si ha tenido abierto el frigorífico mucho tiempo o ha introducido muchos alimentos a la vez o si se
activa la alarma de temperatura en este compartimento. Reduzca su uso al máximo para optimizar el consumo del aparato.
1) Para activar esta función:
Pulse "Function (función)" hasta que parpadee el icono correspondiente y luego haga clic en "Ok".
2) Para desactivar esta función.
Pulse "Function (función)" hasta que parpadee el icono correspondiente y luego haga clic en "Ok" (la luz se apaga).
La temperatura del refrigerador vuelve entonces a su valor anterior al modo Enfriamiento rápido.
Si activa las funciones Smart ECO o el modo Vacaciones, el modo Enfriamiento rápido se detiene.
★ Congelación rápida (Fast Freezing)
En el modo “Congelación rápida (Fast Freezing)” la temperatura del congelador desciende y no se puede modificar mientras
esté activo. Use esta función únicamente si ha tenido abierto el congelador mucho tiempo o ha introducido muchos alimentos a
la vez o si se activa la alarma de temperatura en este compartimento. Reduzca su uso al máximo para optimizar el consumo
del aparato.
1) Para activar esta función:
Pulse "Function (función)" hasta que parpadee el icono correspondiente y luego haga clic en "Ok".
2) Para desactivar esta función.
Pulse "Function (función)" hasta que parpadee el icono correspondiente y luego haga clic en "Ok" (la luz se apaga).
La temperatura del congelador vuelve entonces a su valor anterior al modo Congelación rápida.
El tiempo máximo de uso continuado de esta función es de 26h. Transcurrido este tiempo de desactiva automáticamente.
Si activa el modo Smart ECO, el modo Congelación rápida se detiene.
★ Modo Vacaciones
En el Modo vacaciones, la temperatura del refrigerador sube a 14ºC y no se puede modificar mientras esté activo. Use esta
función para ahorrar energía si se va a ausentar un periodo largo de tiempo como unas vacaciones por ejemplo.
1) Para activar esta función:
Pulse "Function (función)" hasta que parpadee el icono correspondiente y luego haga clic en "Ok".
2) Para desactivar esta función.
Pulse "Function (función)" hasta que parpadee el icono correspondiente y luego haga clic en "Ok" (la luz se apaga).
La temperatura del frigorífico vuelve entonces a su valor anterior al modo Vacaciones.
Si activa las funciones Smart ECO o el modo Enfriamiento rápido, el modo Vacaciones se detiene
★ Memoria anti-apagones
Esta función permite que se guarden los ajustes en caso de una interrupción súbita del suministro eléctrico y continúe su
funcionamiento con normalidad una vez se restablezca el suministro.
★ Encendido diferido
Para evitar daños al refrigerador en caso de un corte repentino de energía, la unidad retrasa su arranque en caso de que el
corte dure menos de 5 minutos.
★ Alarma de temperatura del congelador tras un apagón
Si al restablecerse el suministro eléctrico la temperatura del congelador es superior a -10ºC el indicador luminoso de la cámara
del congelador se enciende y los dígitos de temperatura parpadean.
Pulse cualquier botón y la pantalla mostrará la temperatura del congelador en ese momento, pulsee cualquier botón
nuevamente o espere 5 segundos y el parpadeo se detendrá, mostrando la temperatura objetivo seleccionada.
★ Alarma de apertura de puerta del refrigerador
Cuando el refrigerador permanece abierto durante 3 minutos o más, sonará una alarma acústica. Cierre la puerta para detener
la alarma o pulse cualquier botón (en este caso la alarma volverá a sonar después de 3 minutos).
★ Aviso de fallo en el sistema
Si el frigorífico detecta un fallo interno mostrará en pantalla "E0", "E1", "E2" u otros símbolos no habituales, en este caso
contacte con un servicio técnico (visite www.schneiderespana.es) puesto que es probable que el equipo necesite reparación.
Almacenamiento de alimentos
1. Los alimentos cocinados se pueden poner en el refrigerador para mantenerlos frescos después de que su
temperatura haya descendido a la temperatura ambiente.
2. Use los balcones de las puertas para huevos, mantequilla, leche, bebidas, embotelladas, etc. Para obtener mejores
resultados almacene los alimentos dejando espacio libre entre ellos de forma que fluya el aire libremente dentro del
compartimento.
3. Para evitar la contaminación cruzada, envuelva los alimentos con papel film y distribuya los alimentos frescos y
cocinados en distintos estantes. De esta manera evitará que jugos y olores se mezclen.
4. Las frutas y verduras deben colocarse en el cajón verdulero para evitar la evaporación excesiva de agua y mantener

su frescura.
5. Deje enfriar los alimentos calientes a temperatura ambiente antes de almacenarlos, de lo contrario aumentará el
consumo de electricidad y se formará escarcha en el interior.
6. Tenga en consideración que algunos tipos de verduras y frutas frescas son sensibles al frío y que, por lo tanto, no
son aptos para el almacenamiento en el frigorífico.
Consejos para mantener la comida perfecta en la nevera.
1. Las carnes cocinadas deben almacenarse en un estante por encima de las carnes crudas para evitar la transferencia
bacteriana. Mantenga las carnes crudas en un plato que sea lo suficientemente grande como para recolectar los jugos
y cúbralo con papel film o aluminio.
2. Permita que el aire circule alrededor del refrigerador, asegurando que todas las partes del refrigerador se mantengan
frías.
3. Para evitar la transferencia de sabores y la desecación, los alimentos deben envasarse o cubrirse por separado. Las
frutas y verduras no necesitan ser envueltas.
4. Permita que los alimentos precocinados se enfríen antes de colocarlos en el refrigerador. Esto ayudará a evitar que
la temperatura interna del refrigerador suba.
5. Para evitar que escape el aire frío, intente limitar el número de veces que abre la puerta. Cuando regrese de sus
compras, clasifique los alimentos que debe conservar en su frigorífico antes de abrir la puerta. Solo abra la puerta para
poner comida o sacarla.
Interrupción del suministro de energía o fallo del sistema de refrigeración.
En caso de interrupción prolongada del suministro de energía o fallo en el sistema de refrigeración:
1. Evite abrir la puerta del refrigerador tanto como sea posible para que incluso en los días calientes del verano pueda
mantenerse fresca y segura durante horas.
2. Si tiene un aviso de corte de energía por adelantado:
- Una hora antes del corte active el modo “Enfriamiento rápido”, y baje la temperatura del congelador.
- No almacene nuevos alimentos a partir de ese momento.
- Cuando se reinstaure el suministro espere 1h y restablezca valores normales de temperatura (Ej: modo Smart ECO)
- También puede hacer hielo antes del corte de suministro y ponerlo dentro de un recipiente en la parte superior del
congelador, lo que ayudará a mantener los alimentos frescos durante más tiempo.
Antes de congelar.
1. Deje que los alimentos cocinados se enfríen por completo a temperatura ambiente.
2. Enfríe la comida en el compartimento frigorífico antes de congelarla cuando sea posible.
3. Considere cómo quiere cocinar la comida antes de congelarla.
4. No congele los alimentos en recipientes de metal.
5. Use bolsas especiales para congelar disponibles en los supermercados, film para congelador,
bolsas de polietileno, recipientes de plástico y papel de aluminio para alimentos ácidos (como
cítricos). No use papel film normal ni vidrio. No use recipientes de comida usados (a menos que los
haya limpiado completamente).
6. Extraiga tanto aire del contenedor como sea posible. Puede comprar una bomba de vacío especial
que absorba aire excesivo del contenedor. Cuando congele líquidos deje suficiente espacio libre en
el contenedor para permitir su expansión por congelación, o el contenedor podría reventar.
7. Puede aprovechar el espacio en el congelador de manera más eficiente si congela líquidos (o
sólidos con líquidos, como el estofado) en bloques cuadrados. Vierta el líquido en una bolsa de
polietileno dentro de un recipiente de lados cuadrados. Congélelo así, luego sáquelo del contenedor
y selle la bolsa.
A la hora de comprar alimentos congelados.
1. Cuando compre alimentos congelados, consulte las pautas de almacenamiento en el embalaje. Podrá almacenar
cada artículo de comida congelada durante el período que se muestra de acuerdo con la clasificación por estrellas.
Este suele ser el período indicado como "Consumir antes de", que se encuentra en la parte frontal del paquete.
2. Verifique la temperatura de la cámara frigorífica de la tienda donde compra sus alimentos congelados. Debe estar al
menos a -18ºC
3. Asegúrese de que el paquete de alimentos congelados esté en perfectas condiciones.
4. Siempre compre los productos congelados al final de su visita al supermercado.
5. Trate de mantener los alimentos congelados juntos mientras hace las compras, y en el viaje a casa, ya que esto
ayudará a mantenerlos fríos.
6. No compre alimentos congelados para su conservación a menos que pueda congelarlos de inmediato. Existen
bolsas con aislamiento especial se pueden comprar en la mayoría de los supermercados. Éstas mantienen la comida
congelada durante más tiempo.
7. Para algunos alimentos, descongelar antes de cocinar es innecesario. Las verduras y las pastas se pueden agregar
directamente al agua hirviendo o al vapor de cocinado. Las sopas y salsas congeladas se pueden poner en una olla y
calentar suavemente hasta que se descongelen.
8. Use alimentos de calidad y manipúlelos lo menos posible. Congele la comida en pequeñas porciones. Así se congela
más rápido, tarda menos tiempo en descongelarse y le permitirá consumirla en la cantidad justa que necesite.
9. Primero, calcule la cantidad de alimentos que congelará. Si está congelando grandes cantidades de alimentos
frescos, recuerde que puede usar la función “Fast Freezing” (Congelación rápida). Esto reducirá la temperatura en el
congelador, congelará la comida más rápido y ayudará a mantener las propiedades de los alimentos. Sin embargo,
debe hacerlo con moderación para ahorrar energía.
Si se va a ausentar un periodo prolongado
- Si se va ausentar durante algunas semanas active el Modo Vacaciones.
- Si el electrodoméstico no se va a usar durante varios meses:
Desenchufe la unidad de la toma de corriente de la pared.
Retire toda la comida.

Ahorro de energía
1. Instale el refrigerador en la parte más fresca de la estancia, fuera de la luz solar directa y lejos de conductos o
registros de calefacción. No coloque el refrigerador al lado de electrodomésticos que produzcan calor, como un horno,
cocina o lavavajillas.
2. La puerta del refrigerador debe permanecer abierta solo el tiempo que sea necesario; no coloque alimentos calientes
dentro del refrigerador.
3. Organice el refrigerador para reducir las aperturas de la puerta. Retire todos los elementos necesarios a la vez y
cierre la puerta lo antes posible.
4. La puerta del refrigerador debe estar bien cerrada para evitar un mayor consumo de energía y la formación de
exceso de hielo y/o condensación en el interior.
5. El aire frío que circula constantemente mantiene la temperatura homogénea dentro del refrigerador. Por esta razón,

13. Tome las debidas precauciones respecto a los alimentos congelados en caso de una prolongada falta de

No-Frost
Este aparato está diseñado para descongelación automática, sin necesidad de intervención por su parte.
Limpieza
1. Limpieza interna
Limpie el frigorífico internamente con una solución débil de bicarbonato. Luego enjuague con agua tibia usando una
esponja o paño húmedo y seque. Lave los cestos con agua tibia y jabón y asegúrese de que estén completamente
secos antes de volver a colocarlos en el frigorífico.
2. Limpieza externa
Use detergente estándar no abrasivo diluido en agua tibia para limpiar el exterior del frigorífico.
La rejilla del condensador en la parte posterior del frigorífico y los componentes adyacentes se pueden aspirar usando
un accesorio de cepillo suave.

When selecting a position for your Fridge/Freezer you should make sure the floor is flat and firm, and the room is well ventilated. Avoid
locating your Fridge/Freezer near a heat source, eg. cooker, boiler or radiator. Also avoid direct sunlight in out-buildings or sun lounges.
If you are placing your Fridge/Freezer in an out-building such as a garage or annex ensure that the Fridge/Freezer is placed above the
damp course, otherwise condensation will occur on the Fridge/Freezer cabinet. Never place the Fridge/Freezer in a wall recess or into
fitted cabinets or furniture. When your Fridge/Freezer is working, the grille at the back may become hot and the sides warm. Therefore,
the back part of the refrigerator / freezer must be installed at least 30mm of free space, both sides should be left more than 300mm. Do
not drape the Fridge/Freezer with any covering.

Leveling the Fridge/Freezer
If the Fridge/Freezer is not level, the door and magnetic seal alignment will be affected and may cause you Fridge/Freezer to work
incorrectly. Once the Fridge/Freezer is placed in its final location, adjust the leveling feet at the front by turning them.
Cleaning bef re use
Before the first use it is advised to wipe the inside of the Fridge/Freezer with a weak solution of bicarbonate of soda. Then rinse with
warm water using a damp sponge or cloth. Wash the baskets and shelves in warm soapy water and dry completely before replacing in
the Fridge/Freezer. The external parts of the Fridge/Freezer can be cleaned with wax polish.

Check that you have a socket which is compatible with the plug supplied with the Fridge/Freezer.
The coolant fluid needs time to settle. If the appliance is switched off at any time, wait 30 minutes before switching back on to allow the
coolant fluid to settle.

First use
1. Clean the parts of the refrigerator with lukewarm water containing a little neutral detergent and with clear
water, and wipe them dry.
N tes: Electric parts of the refrigerator can only be wiped by dry cloth.
2. Turn on electricity. The compressor begin to work.
3. Open the door 30 minutes later, if the temperature in the refrigerator decreased obviously, it shows that the
refrigerator system works well. When the refrigerator operates for a period of time, the temperature controller will
automatically set the temperature within limits it opens.

★ Temperature setting
1) Click the “refrigerator” or “freezer” button and when it flickers in the symbol, temperatures can be set; each time when the button is
clicked, the temperature changes accordingly (the display shows the temperature accordingly).
(Temperatures cannot be set under functions of fast cooling, fast freezing, intelligence and vacation,)
2) Under temperature setting, if there is no button operation in 5 seconds, the button stops flickering and the set temperature comes into
effect.
3)Temperature cycle
Refrigerator: 2℃→3℃→4℃→5℃→6℃→7℃→8℃→OFF→2℃；
Freezer: -24℃→-23℃→-22℃→-21℃→-20℃→-19℃→-18℃→-17℃→-16℃→-24℃；
★ Smart ECO
Under this mode, it is 4℃ in the refrigerator and -18℃ in the freezer.
Temperatures cannot be changed and you can press the temperature zone button to check the temperature.
1) To enter Smart ECO mode
Press “Function” until Smart ECO icon flickers and then press “OK” to enter this function.
2) To uit Smart ECO mode
Press “Function” until Smart ECO icon flickers and then press “OK” to uit this function. The light then goes off.
Temperatures of each chamber go back to the value before you started this function.
When using fast cooling, fast freezing or vacation modes, Smart ECO will not work.
★Fast c ling
Under fast cooling, it is 2℃ in the refrigerator and the refrigerator temperature cannot be changed.
1)To enter fast cooling
Press “Function” until it flickers in “fast cooling” and then click “OK” to enter this function.
2) To uit fast cooling
Under fast cooling, press “Function” until it goes to “fast cooling” and then click “OK” to uit this function.
The light in fast cooling goes off and the refrigerator temperature goes back to the value before fast cooling.
When using Smart ECO or vacation modes, fast cooling stops
★ Fast freezing
Under fast freezing, refrigerator temperature can be set but not for the freezer temperature.
1) To enter fast freezing
Press “Function” until it flickers in “fast freezing” and then click “OK” to enter this function.
2) To uit fast cooling
Under fast freezing, Press “Function” until it goes to “fast freezing” and then click “OK” to uit this function.
The light in fast freezing goes off and the freezer temperature goes back to the value before fast freezing.
When fast freezing time is up (26 hours), it uits automatically.
When using Smart ECO, fast freezing stops.
★Vacati n m de
Under vacation, it is 14℃ in the refrigerator and the temperatures in this chamber cannot be changed.
1) To enter vacation
Press “Function” until it flickers in “fast freezing” and then click “OK” to enter this function.
2) To uite vacation
Under vacation, Press “Function” until it goes to “vacation” and then click “OK” to uit this function.
The light in vacation goes off and the refrigerator temperature goes back to the value before vacation.
Vacation uits if Smart ECO or fast cooling are running.
★P wer ff mem ry
With this function, the refrigerator can automatically keep all settings in case of power off. When the unit is plugged in again, the
refrigerator will run with the setting before power off.

★P wer-On Delay
To prevent harm to the refrigerator in case of sudden power cut and power on, the unit does not start immediately if the power off time is
less than 5 minutes.
★Freezer ver-temperature alarm ( nly in case f p wer n)
When the freezer temperature is higher than -10℃at the first time connected to power, the symbol light of the freezer chamber goes on
and the number representing temperature flickers.
Press any button, it shows the freezer temperature at power on, press any button again or wait for 5 seconds, flickering stops and it
goes back to the temperature that was set.
★Refrigerat r d r pening alarm
When the refrigerator is open over 3 minutes, the buzzer will buzz. Close the door or press any button to stop the alarm, but for the
latter, the alarm will go off again after 3 minutes.
★Sens r fault alarm
When it shows “E0”, “E1”, “E2” or other abnormal symbols, it means sensor faults and the refrigerator needs repair.
USAGE

1. The cooked dishes can be put into the refrigerator after their temperature decreases to room temperature.
2. Use the egg trays and bottle racks for eggs, butter, milk and bottle drinks, etc. For better performance store the food containers
with a gap in between, so to allow a correct air flow in the cabinet.
3. Storage all food either wrapped, either in Tupper-Ware like containers, in order to avoid cross-contamination, loss of water and
smell mixture. Fruit and vegetables do not need to be wrapped.
4. Fruits and vegetables should be put into the salad crisper to prevent excessive evaporation of water and freshness.
5. Hot food should cool down to room temperature before being stored; otherwise consumption of electricity will increase and could
lead to frost forming inside.
6. Some types of fresh vegetables and fruits are sensitive to cold, and therefore they are not suitable for chill storage (if available).
7. Effervescent drinks should not be stored in food freezer compartments or cabinets or in low-temperature compartments or cabinets.
Some products such as ice pops should not be consumed directly from the freezer as there is a risk of frostbites.
St rage Tips
1. Cooked meat should always be stored on a shelf above raw meat to avoid bacterial transfer. Keep raw meat on a plate which is
large enough to collect juices and cover it with film or foil.
2. Make sure there is always an ade uate air circulation around the appliance and keep all ventilation openings in good condition and
clean, in order to avoid overheating.
3. In order to maintain a correct even temperature inside the refrigerator and in order to optimize the energy consumption of the
appliance always try to limit the number of times you open the door and keep it open the shortest time possible. Sort foods to be
stored before opening the door.
In case f p wer utage r failure f the refrigerating system
(How to keep your frozen food as long as possible in these cases)
1. Do not open the refrigerator door as much as possible so that food can be safely and freshly kept for hours (even in summer).
2. If you have a power outage notice in advance：
a) Please an hour in advance set the temperature of the freezer to the coldest position (do not store new food!) Remember to
restore this setting once the refrigerator is working again.
b) You can also make some ice, put it in a watertight container, and place it in the upper part of the freezer.

Bef re freezing
1. Let cooked food to cool completely.
2. Chill food in the Fridge before freezing if possible.
3. Consider the amount of food you will cook at a time and freeze the food in portions accordingly.
4. Do not store food in the freezer in metal containers.
5. Use special Freezer bags available from supermarkets, Freezer film, polythene bags, plastic containers, aluminum foil for acidic
foods(such as citrus fruits). Do not use thin cling film or glass. Do not use used food containers (unless cleaned thoroughly first).
6. Remove as much air from the food storage container as possible. Special vacuum pumps are available in the market for this
purpose.
7. When freezing a li uid leave some free space in its container as li uids expand in frozen state. Otherwise the
container may explode.
8. You can use the space in the Freezer most efficiently if you freeze li uids (or solids with li uids, such as stew) in
s uare blocks. This is known as “performing” Pour the li uid into a polythene bag which is inside a s uare sided
container. Freeze it like this, then remove it from the container and seal the bag.
Buying fr zen f d
1. When you buy frozen food, look at the Storage Guidelines on the packaging. You will be able to store each item of frozen food for
the period shown against the star rating. This is usually the period stated as “Best before”, found on the front of the packaging.
2. Check the temperature of the frozen food cabinet in the shop where you buy your frozen foods.
3. Make sure the frozen food package is in perfect condition.
4. Always buy frozen products last on your shopping visit to the supermarket.
5. Try to keep frozen food together whilst shopping, and on the journey home as this will help to keep the food cooler.
6. Don’t buy frozen food unless you can freeze it straight away. Special insulated bags can be bought from most supermarkets and
hardware shops. These keep frozen food cold for longer.
7. For some foods, thawing before cooking is unnecessary. Vegetables and pasta can be added directly to boiling water or steam
cooked. Frozen sauces and soups can be put into a saucepan and heated gently until thawed.
8. Use uality food and handle it as little as possible. Freeze food in small uantities, it freezes faster, takes less time to thaw and
enables you to eat it in the uantity you need.
9. First, estimate the amount of food you will be freezing. If you are freezing large amounts of fresh food, remember to turn the control
dial to a lower temperature range. This will lower the temperature in the Freezer, freezing your food uicker and helping to keep the
goodness in. However you should do this sparingly to conserve energy.

This appliance is designed as automatic defrosting, no need to defrost by hand.
L ng absences
·If the appliance will not be used for several months, turn off the refrigerator first and then unplug the unit from the wall outlet.
·Remove all the food.
·Clean and dry the interior thoroughly. To prevent odor and mold growth, leave the door open slightly: blocking it open if necessary
or have the door removed.
·Keep the cleaned fridge in a dry, ventilated place away from the heat source, where the fridge is placed smoothly and do not place
heavy objects on top of the fridge.
·Use extreme caution in the case of children. The unit should not be accessible to child's play.

Energy Saving
1. Install the refrigerator in the coolest part of the room, away from direct sunlight and from heat sources. Do not place the refrigerator
next to heat-producing appliances such as a range hood, oven or dishwasher.
2. The refrigerator door should remain open only as long as necessary; do not place hot food inside the refrigerator.
3. Organize the refrigerator to reduce door openings. Remove as many items as needed at one time and close the door as soon as
possible.
4. The refrigerator door should be properly closed to avoid increased energy consumption, and the formation of excess ice and / or
condensation inside.
5. Constantly circulating cold air keeps the temperature homogenous inside the refrigerator. For this reason, it is important to properly
distribute the food, to facilitate the flow of air.
6. Cover foods and wipe containers dry before placing them in the refrigerator. This cuts down on moisture build-up inside the unit.
7. Do not overcrowd the refrigerator or block cold air vents. Doing so causes the refrigerator to run longer and use more energy.
Shelves should not be lined with aluminum foil, wax paper or paper toweling. Liners interfere with cold air circulation, making the
refrigerator less efficient, which could cause food spoilage.
8. Food to be frozen should not be stored in the freezer in contact with already frozen food. Do not store large amounts of fresh food
in the freezer at once as it will reduce the inner temperature and will put the already frozen food preservation in risk.
9. During your absences, remember that prolonged power outages may occur while you are out.
10. Always keep the shelf life recommended by the food manufacturers for any kind of food and particularly for commercially uick-
frozen food.
11. Take all necessary precautions to prevent an undue rise in the temperature of the frozen food while defrosting the refrigerating
appliance, such as wrapping the frozen food in several layers of newspaper.
12. Please note that a rise in temperature of the frozen food during manual defrosting, maintenance or cleaning could shorten its shelf
life.
13. In the event of an extended outage or failure of the refrigerating system check for any impact in the frozen food state. If you
observe any melting, remove the affected products from the freezer. Never freeze again melted food.
14. It is better to wrap the frozen food in several layers on the glass shelves.
Maintenance and cleaning
1.Internal cleaning
Clean the Fridge/Freezer internally with a weak solution of bicarbonate of soda. Then rinse with warm water using a damp sponge or
cloth and wipe dry. Wash the baskets in warm soapy water and ensure they are completely dry before replacing in the Fridge/Freezer.
2.External cleaning
Use standard non-abrasive detergent diluted in warm water to clean the Fridge/Freezer exterior.
