use carefully.
5. Use of Cabbage Shredder for attempting to slice pitted fruits, vegetables or other

A. BLADE ADJUSTMENT
To reduce or widen the spacing of the blades for making thinner or thicker cuts, you will
only adjust the bolts and screws underneath the blades. First, one blade at time, loosen the
bolt that holds the screw in place. Loosen the bolt in ¼ or ½ turn increments, then tighten
or loosen each screw to move the blade to the desired spacing in ¼ or ½ turn increments.
Follow this procedure to maintain like spacing of each blade, and then tighten the bolt to
secure the screw in place.
B. FOLDING LEGS
Your Mandolin Shredder will arrive with folded legs. Before use make sure to loosen wing
nuts at each of the four corners, then carefully un-hinge the legs to a standing position. Once
the cabbage shredder is in an up right standing position make sure to tighten the wing nuts
before operation.
WARNING: Be careful not to over tighten. If just the screws are tightened without first
loosening the bolts, the screws will become over-tightened and the blades can break.
