Important Safety Information
Don’t put scanner, cable or accessories in places of excessively high temperature, such as
exposure to direct sunlight. Don’t use scanner in extremely humid conditions or in
conditions of extreme temperature change. Never damage the internal rechargeable
battery. Damaging the casing of the rechargeable battery might cause explosion or fire!
Scan this barcode to
activate Bluetooth mode
and to put the scanner into
"Pairing mode", ready to
pair to your mobile device.
Bluetooth Mode
2.) Enable Bluetooth on
your mobile device
Go to your phone’s homescreen
and find “Settings”, then
“Bluetooth” and turn Bluetooth
on. Your device will search for
available devices within range.
After approx 20 seconds, Saveo
Scan will appear as an external
keyboard with a unique
identifier serial number (PKT2-
XXXXXXXX).
Select the scanner from
“Available Devices” and wait for
pairing process to complete.
Once “Connected” is displayed,
your device is paired to the
scanner. Your scanner is now
ready to use.
1.) Enter Pairing Mode
Please Note: Devices only
need to be paired once.
When they are within
Bluetooth range they will
automatically attempt to
connect to each other. If
you wish to connect to
another device it is
recommended you first
unpair this device.

Connect the included USB
2.4GHz Wireless Dongle to a
free USB-A port on your
computer. The dongle is a
USB Class Compliant device
and does not require a driver
to operate in HID mode.
2.) Perform a Test Scan
To test that your scanner is
connected, open Notepad or a Text
Editor application on your
connected computer, focus the
cursor, and scan the Test Barcode.
1.) Connect Via 2.4Ghz
Please Note: When the
scanner is within range of USB
2.4Ghz receiver, the devices
will automatically attempt to
connect to each other until a
connection is established.
Test Barcode
You will see
"Connection
Successful" text
populate in your
text editor upon
scanning the above
test barcode,
confirming your
device is connected.
