Care and Cleaning
For your safety, always switch off the supply before changing lightbulbs, or cleaning.
PIR Adjustment
The PIR sensor has a fixed detection field of 12m
diameter at a distance of 3m. It can be adjusted for
duration the lamp stays on ("TIME" screw) and the
light level that the switch activates ("LUX" screw).
To adjust when the switch activates, rotate the "LUX"
screw between the sun and moon symbols. sun
indicates the PIR sensor will operate at all times
during daylight and darkness. moon indicates that the
PIR sensor will operate in total darkness only.
To adjust the duration the lamp stays on, rotate the
"TIME" screw between + and - . Minimum time on
is 10+/-5 seconds maximum time on is 4+/- 1
minutes

• Wattage: Maximum Load Wattage: 1600W incandescent bulb, 500W fluorescent bulb.
• Detection range: 360o over a detection field of 12m diameter at 3m distance.
• Duration time: From 10±5 seconds to 4±1 minutes adjustable
•Lux control level: From daylight to total darkness

Installation
• Detachthefrontbezelfromtheproductbyremoving
the small screw on the side of the unit and twisting
anticlockwise. keep the bezel and screw safe for
refitting later.
• Usingtheceilingcoverasatemplate,markand
drill the fixing holes using appropriate fixings for the
mounting surface. Take care to avoid damaging any
concealed wiring or pipes.
• Removethecableclamp(A)toaccesstheterminal
block.

This product is Double Insulated and does
not require connection to an Earth circuit.
Please read these instructions carefully before
commencing any work.
This unit must be fitted by a competent and qualified
electrician.
Install in accordance with IEE Wiring regulations and
current Building Regulations.
To prevent electrocution switch off at mains supply
before installing or maintaining this fitting. Ensure
other persons cannot restore the electrical supply
without your knowledge.
This unit should be connected to a fused circuit.
If replacing an existing fitting, make a careful note of
the connections.
This product is not suitable for dimming.
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of
with household waste. Please recycle where facilities

This unit is only suitable for indoor use.
This product is double insulated and must not be
earthed. If there are any incoming earth cables, they
must be joined together and well insulated with good
quality insulation tape. This is to ensure earth continuity
throughout your property.
Having correctly identified the wiring from your existing
light fitting and connect to the connection block inside
the product in the following way:

• You have correctly identified the wires.
• The connections are tight.
• No loose strands have been left out of the connection
block.

• AdjustthePIRsensorasdetailedoverleafandrefit
the front bezel and securing screw.
• Replacefuse orcircuitbreaker andswitch on.Your
light is now ready for use.
