Le BIP (Boîtier d’interconnexions et de protections) chargeur permet de recharger la batterie tout en
continuant à alimenter normalement les circuits d’utilisations 12V via la batterie et les circuits
d’utilisations 230V.

I INFORMATIONS AVANT L'INSTALLATION
- le chargeur doit être déconnecté du secteur avant toute manipulation. Le chargeur doit être installé
et fixé (voir chapitre installation).
- Déconnecter l’alimentation avant de brancher ou de débrancher les connexions sur la batterie.
- Le chargeur ne doit absolument pas être utilisé si le boîtier ou les câbles sont endommagés.
- Le chargeur ne doit pas être utilisé dans un endroit mouillé ou humide.
- MISE EN GARDE : Pendant la charge de la batterie, éviter les flammes et les étincelles, assurer
une aération suffisante pendant la charge. Gaz explosif.
- Le chargeur ne doit être branché que dans un socle de prise de courant reliée à la terre
- Le raccordement de la cosse d’entrée « terre » est obligatoire pour assurer la continuité de la
protection des personnes par le différentiel de la prise sur laquelle est raccordé le véhicule (en cas
de défaut d’isolement de d’un des appareils connectés sur les utilisations 230 V du BIP), utilisez
pour cela la cosse livrée en accessoires.
- En cas de remplacement d’un fusible de sortie, respectez les calibres indiqués sur le tableau des
caractéristiques.
- Ce chargeur n’est pas destiné à la recharge de piles.
- Pour les chargeurs destinés à être montés dans des caravanes, il faut veiller à ce que le
raccordement au réseau d’alimentation soit effectué conformément aux règles d’installation
nationales.

II CABLAGE
- Si les câbles doivent être glissés à travers des murs métalliques, utiliser une gaine.
- Ne pas poser les câbles sur les matériaux électriques conducteurs.
- Ne pas laisser les câbles 230V et les câbles 12V DC ensemble dans la même gaine.
- La section de câble doit être respectée.
- Protéger les câbles correctement.
- Positionner les câbles de sorte qu'ils ne puissent pas être endommagés.
- La mise hors tension de cet appareil doit se faire par retrait de la fiche secteur. Elle doit rester
accessible.
- Si le câble d’alimentation 230V est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par notre service après vente
ou une personne ayant les qualification requises pour cette opération.
- Si la longueur de câble aller et retour (+ et -) est inférieure à 10 mètres, alors la section de câble
doit être de 2,5mm

- Si la longueur de câble aller et retour (+ et -) est comprise entre 10 et 20 mètres, alors la section de
câble doit être de 4mm
2
.
- Prévoir un disjoncteur magnétothermique pour l’alimentation et la protection des utilisations 230V
III INSTALLATION
- Le chargeur doit être installé dans un lieu dégagé (environ 15 cm de chaque coté et 10cm sur le
dessus) et ne pas être recouvert.
- Le chargeur dispose de quatre trous de fixations sur la platine.
- Le raccordement des utilisations et de la batterie sur le chargeur s’effectue par des cosses de type
faston.
- Le raccordement du réseau 230V s’effectue sur le disjoncteur.
- La borne + de la batterie doit être connectée la première. Fonctionnement du témoin :
Voyant allumé chargeur est sous tension.

IV MAINTENANCE
- En cas de remplacement d’un fusible, respecter les calibres indiqués sur le tableau des caractéristiques. Toute autre
valeur risquerait d'endommager le chargeur.
- Les batteries au plomb doivent être placées dans un emplacement bien aéré pendant la charge
- En cas de modification du câblage amenant à couper les colliers serre-câbles, ceux ci doivent impérativement être
remplacés une fois le câblage terminé.
- Il faut régulièrement vérifier le bon serrage des connexions, un mauvais serrage peut provoquer un échauffement des
bornes.

The BIP - charger (Box for Interconnections and Protection) enables to charge a battery and in the
same time it supplied the 12VDC uses circuits through the battery and the 230VAC circuits.

I GENERAL SAFETY AND INSTALLATION INFORMATION
BE CAREFUL : Always disconnect the charger from 230VAC main before any operation.
It must be settled and fixed (see chapter « installation and putting into operation »).
Disconnect the supply before connecting or disconnecting the battery.
Do not use the charger when box or wires are damaged.
The charger must not be operated in a damp or wet environment.
WARNING : During the battery charge avoid flames and sparks, and ensure a good ventilation
during the charge. Explosive gas.
Use the charger inside or do not expose it to the rain.
When replacing an output fuse comply with the calibre given in data.
In case of mounting on a caravan, the connections on the mains have to be done according the rules
of the country.

II ABOUT THE CABLES
- if cables have to be inserted through metal walls, use a cable duct or cable bushes ;
- do not lay cables loose or with sharp bends on electrically conductive materials ;
- do not lay together 230VAC mains and 12VDC cables in the same cable duct ;
- the specified minimum cable cross-section must be complied with (see chapter « cable section ») ;
- secure cables properly ;
- lay cables in a such way that they are not exposed to the risk of damage ;
- for disconnecting the device set the mains switch to « OFF » and unplug from the mains. It must
always be within hand reach.
- when 230VAC supply wire is damaged, it must be replaced by our after sales department or by a
person having the required qualifications.
CABLES SECTIONS :
The mounting of a magneto-thermic circuit breaker is necessary to protect the 230VAC
supplying
III INSTALLATION AND PUTTING INTO OPERATION
The charger must be installed in a well-ventilated location (minimum 15 cm on each side and 10 cm
on the top) and must not be covered.
The charger has 4 fixing holes on the rear part.
The connection for the uses and for the battery on the charger is made by FASTON terminals.
The connection of the 230VAC goes to the circuit breaker.

be 2,5mm

IV MAINTENANCE
BE CAREFUL :
-If replacing a fuse, comply with the calibres given in the technical data. Any other value may
damage the charger ;
-Do not use the charger to charge some cells ;
-During the charge lead-batteries have to be in a well-ventilated location ;
-Only connect the charger in a main socket with earth ;
-You MUST connect the input clamp « earth » in a such way to ensure a continuity of people
protection by the differential of the plug on which the vehicle is connected (in case of bad
insulation of one of the equipment connected to the BIP 230VAC uses) ; for this purpose use the
terminal delivered with the accessories) ;
-If cables are modified and cable-grips cut, once new wiring is finished you must change the
cable-grips ;
-Regularly check that connections are in good state (well screwed) otherwise it can entail an
overheating of the terminals

I ) INFORMATIONEN VOR ANBRINGUNG
VORSICHT:
Das Ladegerät muss an einer Steckdose mit Erdung angeschlossen werden.
Das Ladegerät darf während jegliches Eingriffes nicht am Stromnetz angeschlossen sein.
Das Ladegerät muss montiert und befestigt werden. ( siehe Kapitel MONTAGE ).
Die Stromzufuhr vor dem Anschluss, oder dem Abzug an der Batterie ausschalten.
Das Ladegerät darf auf keinen Fall verwendet werden, wenn Gehäuse, oder Kabel defekt sind.
Das Ladegerät darf nicht in nassem, oder feuchtem Umfeld verwendet werden.

WARNUNG:
Während der Ladezeit einer Bleibatterie muss diese in einem gut durchlüftetem Raum stehen.
Flammen und Funken vermeiden. Explosivgas.
Dieses Ladegrät ist nicht zum Laden von Kleinbatterien geeignet.
Für Ladegräte in Wohnwägen muss darauf geachtet werden, dass der Stromanschluss nach den
nationalen Sicherheitsrichtlinien vorgenommen wird.
II) VERKABELUNG
- wenn die Kabel durch Metallwände geleitet werden sollen, Kabelmäntel verwenden,
- die Kabel nicht auf leitendem Elektromaterial verlegen,
- keine 230 V und 12 V Kabel zusammen in einem Kabelmantel verlegen,
- die Kabelsektion berücksichtigen ( siehe Kapitel Kabelsektion )
- die Kabel ordungsgemäss isolieren
- die Kabel so verlegen, dass sie nicht beschädigt werden können.
- Die Spannungsabschaltung erfolgt bei diesem Apparat über Ausstecken des
Netzsteckers. Dieser muss stets zugänglich sein.
- falls das 230 V Stromzufuhrkabel beschädigt ist, muss es durch unseren Kundendienst,
oder eine Fachkraft ersetzt werden.
- wenn die Kabellänge (hin und rück ; + und -) weniger als 10 m beträgt, muss eine Kablesektion
von 2,5mm² gewählt werden.
- wenn die Kabellänge (hin und rück ; + und -) zwischen 10 und 20 Metern beträgt, muss eine
Kabelsektion dem entsprechend 4mm² gewählt werden.
- Der Montage einer Magnetothermische Sicherungsautomat notwendig ist für die
Versorgung und der Schutz der 230V Kreise.
III) MONTAGE
Das Ladegerät muss freistehend angebracht werden (circa 15 cm Platz auf jeder Seite und 10 cm an
der Oberseite) aud darf nicht bedeckt werden.
Achten Sie auf die Zugänglichgkeit der Steckdose.
Die Verbindung zwischen Batterie und Ladegerät ist durch Faston AnschlüBe gemacht.
Das Ladegerät hat vier Löcher zur Befestigung.

IV) WARTUNG
VORSICHT: Beim Auswechsel einer Sicherung zuerst den Netzstecker abziehen und die Stärke
der Sicherung beachten, die in der Tabelle HAUPTMERKMALE angegeben ist. Jegliche
Abweichung könnte das Ladegerät beschädigen.
Regelmässig die ordnungdgemässe Befestigung der Anschlüsse überprüfen, anderenfalls kann es zu
Überhitzung an den Klemmen kommen.
Diese Ladegerät ist nicht zum Laden von Kleinbatterien geeignet.

CONDITIONS DE GARANTIES
Objet de la garantie : SCHEIBER SA garantit ses matériels pour défaut et vices cachés dans les conditions prévues aux
articles 1641 et suivants du Code Civil. Les réparations effectuées pendant la période de garantie ne changent pas les
termes et la durée de cette garantie qui est de 2 ans. Les prestations sous garantie sont soumises à la présentation de
la facture certifiant la date du début de la garantie.
Exclusion de la garantie : cette garantie n’est pas applicable en cas d’altération ou de mauvaises utilisations des
appareils (erreur de branchement, chute, choc, remplacement des fusibles par des valeurs non conformes). Elle ne
couvre pas la re-calibration ou le réétalonnage consécutifs à la dérive et au vieillissement normal des matériels.
Modalités de la garantie : les frais de transport sont à la charge du client. Si le matériel reçu est non conforme, la société
se réserve le droit de refuser de réparer gratuitement et propose un devis.
Limites de responsabilité : la société SCHEIBER ne pourra en aucun cas être considérée responsable des dommages
directs ou indirects résultant de l’utilisation des matériels ou des pannes et anomalies de fonctionnement de ceux-ci.

Warranty subject: The company SCHEIBER warranties all its products’ range against failures or masked-failures
according to the article 1641 and followings of the Civil Code. Repairs and replacement of the equipment during the
warranty period do not change terms or time of this warranty which is of 2 years. Repairs and replacement of the
faulty parts under warranty are made only on presentation of the invoice which certifies the warranty beginning
date.
Warranty does not apply: This warranty can not be applied in case of misuse, wrong installation, repair by anyone else
than a SCHEIBER authorised technician, damage arising from improper use (fuses replaced by another value),
utilisation in an unsuitable environment or if the equipment has suffered from physical damages through handling,
transport... It does not cover calibration or verification due to the normal age of the components.
Warranty modalities: The equipment freight will be charged to the customer. If the returned equipment does not
conform, our company considers it has the right to refuse the free repair and proposes an estimate.
Responsibility limits: In any case, the company SCHEIBER will not be held responsible for direct damages or damages
not due to the normal use of the equipment.
In case of a dispute arising between the parties, the case shall be submitted to the French Right to the court specified by
the company SCHEIBER. GEWÄHRLEISTUNG
Betr.: Wir empfehlen ausdrücklich, die Bedienungsanleitung genau zu lesen und die dort gegebenen Hinweise zu

SCHEIBER S.A. steht für alle Fehler und versteckten Mängel seiner Geräte nach den Art. 1641 ff. des Code civil ein.
Fehlerhafte Teile werden ohne Berechnung des Materials und der Arbeitszeit ersetzt. Die Gewährleistungszeit beträgt 2
Jahre. Während der Gewährleistungszeit beeinflussen ausgeführte Reparaturen nicht deren Ablauf.
Gewährleistungsrechte bestehen nur gegen Vorlage des den Beginn des Lieferscheins, der die
Gewährleistungszeit ausweist.
Ausnahmen: Gewährleistungsrechte bestehen nicht im Fall der Veränderung oder beim Missbrauch der Geräte
(Fehlanschluss, Sturz, Erschütterung, Einbau ungeeigneter Ersatzsicherungen). Sie umfaβen keine Eichung oder
Skalierung, die aufgrund normaler Alterung der Geräte vorkommen.
Modalitäten der Garantie: Der Kunde bezahlt die Kosten des Versandes. Sofern die Voraussetzungen einer
Gewährleistung nicht vorliegen, behält sich SCHEIBER S.A. vor, eine kostenlose Reparatur abzulehnen und einen
Kostenvoranschlag zu unterbreiten. Haftungsbegrenzung: SCHEIBER S.A. haftet unter keinen Umständen für
unmittelbare oder mittelbare Schäden, die durch Gebrauch, Pannen oder Funktionsstörungen der Geräte entstehen.
CONDICIONES DE GARANTÍA
Objeto de la garantía : SCHEIBER SA garantiza sus materiales contra los defectos y vicios ocultos en las condiciones
previstas en los artículos 1641 y siguientes del Código Civil Francés. Las reparaciones realizadas durante el período de
garantía no cambian las condiciones y la duración de esta garantía que es de 2 años. Se someten las prestaciones
realizadas con garantía a la presentación de la factura certificando la fecha del principio de garantía.
Exlusión de la garantía : no se aplica esta garantía en caso de alteración o de malas utilizaciones de los aparatos (error
de enchufe, caída, choque, sustitución de fusibles por valores impropios). No cubre la recalibración o el ajuste debido a
la deriva o al envejecimiento normal de los materiales.Modalidades de la garantía : los gastos de transporte corren a
cargo del cliente. Si no está conforme el material recebido, la sociedad SCHEIBER tiene el derecho de rechazar la
reparación gratuita y hace un propuesto .Limites de responsabilidad : en ningún caso se considerará la sociedad
SCHEIBER como responsable de los daños directos o indirectos que resultan de la utilización de los materiales o de las
averías o anomalías de funcionamiento de estos. En caso de conflicto, se somete el caso al derecho francés en el corte
indicado por la sociedad SCHEIBER.
