Zur Eingabe der Heizzeit beim BIOSTAR®IV bitte zuerst die Taste „Heizen“ und danach die
Taste mit dem Uhrsymbol drücken, die Heizzeit in Sekunden eingeben und die Taste mit
dem Uhrsymbol zum Bestätigen erneut drücken.
To program the heating time in BIOSTAR®IV, please press the „heating” key first and con-
tinue with pressing the key with the clock-symbol, enter the heating time in seconds and
confirm by pressing the button with the clock-symbol once again.

Die Herstellung ist für alle BIOPLAST®XTREME Deco Motive gleich. Diese Anleitung zeigt
exemplarisch die Verarbeitung mit dem Motiv „Lion“. Nur die für den Sportmundschutz
notwendigen Modellbereiche mit einmaligem, dünnem Auftrag von BIOPLAST®-Isoliermittel
versehen.
Fabrication is identical for all BIOPLAST®XTREME Deco designs. In this instruction, the
fabrication is shown by the example of “Lion”.
Apply one thin layer of BIOPLAST®insulating agent only to those parts of the working model
which will be covered by the mouth guard.
Das Modell sollte vor dem Tiefziehen wie abgebildet mit der Front in Richtung Druckkammer
eingebettet werden, damit das Dekor durch die Materialreckung nicht zu stark verzerrt wird.
Please embed the model as shown with the front side to the pressure chamber to avoid
severe deformation of the decor due to stretching of the material
Das Modell so in das Granulat einbetten, dass der V-förmige Keil der BIOPLAST®XTREME
Deco-Folie nach dem Tiefziehen in gewünschter Ausdehnung die Front des Modells ab-
deckt (z.B. von 3-3). Die Deco - Seite der Folie zeigt beim Einlegen in die Druckkammer bei
Geräten von SCHEU DENTAL nach unten. Nach Eingabe des Codes (Scanner oder Tas-
tatur) bzw. der empfohlenen Heizzeit die Folie vorschriftsmäßig erwärmen. Druckkammer
verriegeln und erst nach Ablauf der Abkühlphase öffnen.
Please embed the model in the pellets with the V-shaped part of the BIOPLAST®XTREME
Deco covering the required extension of the anterieur section (eg. From 3-3). Make sure
the plate is fixed with the decor side down in SCHEU DENTAL machines. Heat the plate by
setting the code (Scanner or keyboard) or recommended heating times according to the
instructions. Lock pressure chamber and open after cooling phase has finished.
Hinweis: Wir empfehlen die Verwendung der „Granulatabdeckung“ (REF 3006 /
3007) um Granulatverluste zu vermeiden.
Hint: We recommend use of the “pellet cover” (REF 3006 / 3007) to avoid loss of
pellets.
Folie am Modellboden mit Skalpell oder Schere beschneiden und mit einem feuchten Zellstoff-
tuch umhüllen, so dass nur die Okklusalflächen unter dem IR-Strahler mittels Heiz-Support
erwärmt werden. Im Artikulator erfolgt der leichte Einbiss mit dem isolierten Modell des Gegen-
kiefers. Mittels Druckluft oder Wasser abkühlen und Sportmundschutz vom Modell abheben.
Cut mouthguard on model bottom with scissors or scalpel, cover it with a moistened
tissue and heat the occlusal surfaces under the infrared heater using the heating sup-
port. A light impression is done in the articulator with the insulated model of the an-
tagonist. Cool with compressed air or water and remove mouthguard from the model.
Folie mit Schere oder Skalpell beschneiden und in die endgültige Form bringen. Die
Ränder können mit dem OSAMU Polierer oder mit einer DIMO®PRO Scheibe geglättet
werden. Zusätzlich können die Ränder noch thermisch geglänzt werden.
Cut mouth guard to the desired shape. Polish the edges with OSAMU polisher or
DIMO®PRO wheel. Additionally, the edges can be finished thermically.
