1. SAFETY
WARNING! Remove the battery pack from the cordless multipurpose mini grinder before changing accessories, servicing or
performing any maintenance.
9Maintain the cordless multipurpose mini grinder in good condition. Check moving parts alignment on a regular basis.
9Replace or repair damaged parts. Use an authorised service agent and recommended parts only. Unauthorised parts may be
dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
9 Ensurethecordlessmultipurposeminigrinderisswitchedobeforeinstallingthebatterypack.
9Keep the cordless multipurpose mini grinder clean for best and safest performance.
9 Removeillttingclothing.Removeties,watches,ringsandotherloosejewelleryandcontainlonghair.
9 Evaluateyourworkingareabeforeusingthecordlessmultipurposeminigrindere.g.ceilings,oorsandenclosuresmaycontain
electrical items or water piping.
9Ensure battery pack (sold separately) is correctly inserted into the cordless multipurpose mini grinder and latched in place before
attempting to switch on.
9Secure loose work pieces with a clamp, vice or other adequate holding device (not supplied).
9Avoid unintentional starting.
9Wear approved safety eye protection (standard spectacles are not adequate).
9 Maintaincorrectbalanceandfooting.Ensuretheoorisnotslipperyandwearnon-skidshoes.
9Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.
9Store the cordless multipurpose mini grinder and accessories in the original box, in a safe, dry, childproof area where the
temperature will not exceed 104°F (40°C).

8DO NOT allow children to operate the cordless multipurpose mini grinder.

5. OPERATION
Unpack the product and check contents. Should there be any damaged or missing parts contact your supplier immediately.
Beforeuse,ensurethatyouhavereadandunderstoodsection1SafetyInstructions.
5.1. SWITCHING ON AND OFF
Also refer to sections 7 and 8.
5.1.1. Insertthebattery.
5.1.2. ToturnthecordlessmultipurposeminigrinderOnsettheOn/Oswitch(g1-1)to“I”.
5.1.3. ToturnthecordlessmultipurposeminigrinderOsettheOn/Oswitch(g1-1)to“O”.
5.2. SETTING THE SPEED RANGE
5.2.1. Setthespeedcontroldial(g1-5)toapositionbetween“1”and“MAX”.
5.3. CHECKING THE BATTERY CHARGE LEVEL
5.3.1. Insertthebattery.
5.3.2. SettheOn/Oswitch(g1-1)tothe“I”position.
5.3.3. TheremainingchargewillbeshownonthebatterychargelevelLED(g1-2)asfollows:
Red/Orange/Green = maximum charge
Red/Orange = medium charge
Red=lowcharge-re-chargethebattery
5.4. CHANGING THE COLLET CHUCK
5.4.1. Ensure the cordlessmultipurposeminigrinderisswitchedoandthebatteryremoved.
5.4.2. Pressthespindlelockbutton(g1-4)andholditdown.
5.4.3. Keepingpressureonthespindlelockbutton(g1-4)turnthecolletnut(g1-3)untilthespindlelockclicksintoplace.
5.4.4. Undothecolletnut(g1-3)fromthethreadedoutputshaftusingthecombinationspannerandremove.
5.4.5. Selecttheappropriatecolletchuck(g1-6)andinsertcentrallyintotheopeninginthethreadedoutputshaft.
5.4.6. Replacethecolletnut(g1-3)andscrewngertightonly.Releasethespindlelockbutton(g1-4).
5.5. INSERTING THE ACCESSORY TOOL
5.5.1. Repeat sections 5.4.1 to 5.4.3.
5.5.2. Selectthetoolrequiredandinsertthetoolshaftcentrallyintotheappropriatecolletchuck(g1-6).
5.5.3. Fullytightenthecolletnut(g1-3)usingthecombinationspanner.Releasethespindlelockbutton(g1-4).
NOTE: Use the screwdriver end of the combination spanner to undo and tighten the screw on the mandrels.
5.6. OPERATING THE CORDLESS MULTIPURPOSE MINI GRINDER
5.6.1. Select the speed required. See section 5.2
5.6.2. Selectcolletchuckandthetoolingaccessoryrequired.Seesections5.4and5.5.Re-insertthebatterypack.
5.6.3. Holdthecordlessmultipurposeminigrinderrmlybytheinsulatedgrippingsurfacesandturnthecordlessmultipurposemini
grinder ON. See section 5.1.
8DO NOT switch the cordless multipurpose mini grinder ON if the accessory tool is in contact with the workpiece. Allow the cordless
multipurpose mini grinder to reach the required speed before applying it to the workpiece.
8DO NOT press the spindle lock button when the cordless multipurpose mini grinder is running.
WARNING!Ensurethatthecolletnut(fig1-3)isfullytightened,andthatthetoolingspindleisexactlymatchedtothe
corresponding collet chuck. Accessory tools which do not fit precisely with the collet chuck, or become loose, will rotate unevenly,
vibrate,or“fly”offviolentlywhichcanleadtoalossofcontrolandtheriskofpersonalinjury.
WARNING! The brush accessory tool can loose wire bristles during normal operation. DO NOT apply excessive pressure to the wire
brush as the discarded wire bristles can easily penetrate light clothing and/or skin.
