1. SAFETY
WARNING! Disconnect the gun from the air supply before changing accessories, servicing or performing any maintenance.
9Maintain the gun in good condition. Replace or repair damaged parts. Use recommended parts only. Unauthorised parts may be
dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
9Keep the gun clean and rinse out nozzle, quick-release coupling and suction pipes with thinner after use.
WARNING! If the gun components become blocked there is a danger of excessive pressure build-up causing the canister to burst.
9Locate the gun in a suitable work area. Keep area clean and tidy and free from unrelated materials and ensure that there is adequate
lighting.
9 Removeillttingclothing.Removeties,watches,rings,andotherloosejewellery,andcontainlonghair.
9Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the work area.
9 Whennotinuseensurethattheairsupplyisturnedo󰀨andthegunisdisconnected.
9Avoid unintentional operation.
9Ensure that wax manufacturer’s instructions are carefully followed.
8DO NOT place attachments close to your face (especially eyes, ears, etc.).
8DO NOT carry by the air hose, or yank the hose or the gun from the air supply.
8DO NOT use the gun for any purpose other than for which it is designed and DO NOTllwithanyotheruidorliquid.
8DO NOT operate the gun if it is damaged.
8DO NOT direct air from the air hose at yourself or others.
9Always wear suitable safety protection when using this equipment. For a full range of goggles, visors, gloves and ear defenders, plus
other personal safety equipment. Please refer to the Safety Products section of our catalogue.
9When not in use, disconnect from the air supply and store in a safe, dry, childproof area.
2. INTRODUCTION
Designed for the application of wax rust inhibitor. Supplied with a selection of lances to enable the wax to be sprayed into body cavities through
small access points.

4. AIR SUPPLY
4.1. Recommended hook-up.
4.2.  Ensurethattheairvalveisinthe“o󰀨”positionbeforeconnectingtotheairsupply.
WARNING! Ensure air supply does not exceed specified figure (see above). Too high an
air pressure and unclean air will shorten the product life due to excessive wear, and may be
 dangerouscausingpossibledamageand/orpersonalinjury.
4.3. Drain the compressor air supply tank daily. Water in the air line will damage equipment and
will invalidate your warranty.
4.4. Clean the compressor air inlet filter screen weekly.
4.5. Line pressure should be increased to compensate for
unusually long air hoses (over 8 metres). The minimum
hose bore should be 10mm and fittings must have similar
inside dimensions.
4.6. Keep hoses away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Check
hoses for wear, and make certain that connectors are
secure.

5. OPERATION
5.1. Take the container of wax rust inhibitor and read and act on the instructions.
5.2. PREPARING GUN FOR USE
5.2.1. Unscrewthegunfromthecanister.Pourthewaxintothecanister(g.3.C)andthen
securely replace the gun.
5.2.2. Attach the gun to the compressed air system, see Section 4. DO NOTexceedspecied
 deliverypressure,seeSpecicationsection4.
5.2.3. Aimthenozzleofthegunintoasafeareaanddepressthetrigger(g.3.B)tocheckthe
 waxow.Adjustthetriggerstop(g.3.A)togivetherequiredspread.
5.3. EXTENSION PROBES
5.3.1. TheSG18issuppliedwithtwoextensionprobes(g.1.1)whichmaybeusedtospray
into cavities, between panels, inside doors etc.
5.3.2. Totaprobe,screwthequickconnectunionprovided(partno:SG18.V2-35)ontothegunnozzle(g.3.D).
5.3.3. Chose the appropriate probe and connect it to the quick connect union.
6. MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Ensure you remove the gun from the air supply before attempting any maintenance. It is very important to keep the gun
and components clean to ensure free passage of wax.
6.1. After use, clean all items, especially probes, with solvent and allow to dry before storage.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids
according to local regulations.
