Control panel – KRONOS 20 pH/ORP
Access to the programming menu. During programming it confirms entry to the various menu
levels and the modifications within the same.
Starts and stops the pump.
In the event of a level alarm (alarm function only), flow alarm and active memory alarm, it
deactivates the signal on the display.
Used to “exit” the various menu levels. Before definitively exiting the programming phase, you
will be asked if you wish to save the changes. During the normal operation, by pressing the
key and then the key you can adjust the contrast.
Scrolls the menu or changes the parameters during programming.
Used for priming and tube replacement.

KRONOS 20 pH/ORP Programming Menu
Press the keys for more than three seconds to access the programming mode. Press the key to scroll
the menu items, then press the key to access the options. Whenever a menu item is editable, it flashes.
By default the pump is set for constant mode. The pump automatically returns to operating mode after 1 minute of
inactivity. In this case, the data entered will not be saved. Press the key to exit the programming levels. When
you exit the programming mode, the display shows:

Setting the language
Programming
Operation
Allows you to set the language. By default the pump is set to English.
Press to access the item, and then press to set the language.
Press to confirm and return to the main menu.

Operation
The pump operates in constant mode. The trigger for the consent is
connected to the Start-Stop input. You can also program:
- Time ON, the operating time of the pump.
- Time OFF, the functional stop of the pump.
Time ON and Time OFF alternate with each other.

Paragraph 2 – Proportional dosing for the pH measurement (factory default)

The pump measures and controls the pH value of a solution, by
programming the following parameters: set-point, set-point type,
proportional band and alarm band.

Paragraph 4 – Setting the Power On Delay
Programming
Operation
Allows you to set a pump operation delay at the start up of
the pump. This delay takes effect only if the pump is
switched off and then switched on by disconnecting the
power supply.
The delay can be disabled, Off (default) or can be set from 1
to 60 minutes.
With the delay enabled, during the set time the LED flashes
(1 sec On – 1 sec Off) and the display shows the countdown
in seconds. If the pump is in Stop mode the display shows
only the flashing LED. During the delay time the function can
be disabled by accessing the menu and setting the time to
Off.
Press to access the item, and then press to set
the value. Press to confirm and return to the main
menu.
Paragraph 5 – Setting the Calibration Delay

Operation
Allows you to set a pump operation delay after the probe
(Redox or pH) calibration
The delay can be disabled, Off (default) or can be set from 1
to 60 minutes.
With the delay enabled, during the set time the LED flashes
(1 sec On – 1 sec Off) and the display shows the countdown
in seconds. If the pump is in Stop mode the display shows
only the flashing LED. During the delay time the function can
be disabled by accessing the menu and setting the time to
Off.
Press to access the item, and then press to set
the value. Press to confirm and return to the main
menu.
Paragraph 6 – Flow Rate Calibration

Operation
On the main menu appears, the value in mL in memory
since the last calibration or the default value if it is the first..
By pressing , the pump will dose for 30 seconds and
the display will show the countdown; during that time, by
means of a graduated container you can measure the
dispensed quantity.
After 30 seconds, the display will show the value in memory,
press the key and then to change the value with
the actual amount measured by the graduated container and
confirm with .
The data entered will be used in flow calculations.

Paragraph 7 – Statistics
Programming
Operation
From the main menu, by pressing the key you can
access the statistics:
- T.Pump = operating time of the pump.
- T.Tube = operating time since the last tube replacement.
- Q.Pump = quantity dosed by the pump in liters; this data is
calculated based on the memorized calibration value.
- Activations = number of pump activations.
- Alm.Meas = number of alarms relating to measure.
- Reset = use the key to reset the counters (YES) or
otherwise (NO), then confirm by pressing .
Press the key to return to the main menu.
Paragraph 8 – Password
Programming
Operation
By setting the password, the programming section can be
accessed to view all the setup parameters, but every time
you try to change the settings you will be prompted for the
password.
The flashing line indicates the editable number; press
to select the number (from 1 to 9), then press to select
the number to modify, and then press to confirm.
By setting “0000” (default), the password will be eliminated.

Paragraph 9 – Flow Alarm
Programming
Operation
This allows you to activate (deactivate) the flow sensor.
When activated (On), press the key to set the sensor
as N. Open or N. Closed.
Press the key to return to the main menu.
Confirm and return to the main menu by pressing the
key.
Paragraph 10 – Level Alarm
Programming
Operation
This allows you to activate the level sensor alarm, which
means that you can decide whether to stop the dosage
(Stop) or simply activate the alarm signal without stopping
the dosage.
Changes can be made by pressing the key, then
using the key to set the alarm type. Confirm by
pressing the key.
When activated, press the key to set the sensor as N.
Open or N. Closed.
Press the key to return to the main menu
Confirm and return to the main menu by pressing the
key.
Paragraph 11 – Setting the Pause

Remote input to pause the pump.
By default, the system is set to Normally Open.
Press to access the item, and then press to set
the value (N. OPEN or N. CLOSED).

pH Calibration Menu
You can choose the automatic or manual calibration mode, in both cases the calibration at pH 7 is automatic.
- Automatic calibration:
When the display shows the value of the buffer solution, insert the probe into the bottle, press and the
display will show the countdown of the 60 seconds required to complete the calibration. If the quality of the
alignment is less than 50%, an error appears on the display; press to exit the calibration (after 4 seconds the
pump will automatically exit the calibration); if the quality is higher than 50%, the value appears on the display;
pressing you will be prompted for the pH 4 or 9 buffer solution; at this point the procedure is similar to the
previous calibration.
- Manual calibration:
When the display shows the value of the buffer solution, insert the probe into the bottle, press and the
display will show the countdown of the 60 seconds required to complete the calibration. If the quality of the
alignment is less than 50%, an error appears on the display; press to exit the calibration (after 4 seconds the
pump will automatically exit the calibration); if the quality is higher than 50%, the value appears on the display;
pressing on the display will flash the pH 7.00 value; press to insert the value of my solution, then press
to confirm and start the calibration procedure as described previously.

Redox (O.R.P.) Calibration Menu

Priming
With the pump in Stop (press the key), by pressing the key, the pump will start to operate at maximum
speed for 30 seconds. To stop the pump before the 30 seconds passed, press again the key.
Tube replacement
With the pump in Stop (press the key), by holding down for at least 3 seconds the key, the pump will start
to operate at minimum speed for 60 seconds, with operation and pause intervals, to allow the tube replacement. To
stop the pump before the 60 seconds passed, press again the key.

Zugang zum Programmiermenü. Während des programmierens bestätigen Sie mit dieser
Taste den Zugang zu den verschiedenen Menüebenenen und Modifikationen.
Startet und stoppt die Pumpe.
Sollte ein Levelalarm,Flowalarm oder Memoryalarm anliegen, können Sie diesen mit ESC
deaktivieren.
Wird benutzt um die Menüebenen zu verlassen. Bevor Sie das Menü endgültig verlassen,
werden Sie gefragt, ob Sie vorgenommene Änderungen speichern möchten. Während des
normalen Betriebes könn Sie mit halten dieser Taste und aschließend dieser
Taste, den Kontrast einstellen.
Zum Scrollen im Menü oder zur Änderung der Parameter während der Porgrammierung. Die
Befüllung oder das wechseln des Schlauches wird mit dieser Taste aktiviert.

KRONOS 20 pH/ORP Menü Programmierung
Drücken Sie die Tasten für mindestens drei Sekunden um in das Menü Programmierung zu gelangen.
Drücken Sie die Taste um durch das Menü zu navigieren und dann die Taste um die Optionen zu
öffnen. Immer wenn ein Menüeintrag blinkt kann er bearbeitet werden.
Die Pumpe ist standardmäßig auf Dauerbetrieb eingestellt. Die Pumpe kehrt nach 1 Minute Inaktivität automatisch
in den Betriebsmodus zurück. In diesem Fall werden die eingegebenen Daten nicht gespeichert. Drücken Sie die
Taste um das Menü Programmierung zu verlassen. Wenn Sie diesen verlasen werden Sie folgendes auf dem
Bildschirm sehen:

Sprache einstellen
Programmierung
Bedienung
Ermöglicht die Sprache zu ändern. Die Pumpe ist standardmäßig auf
Englisch eingestellt.
Drücken Sie die Taste um den Menüpunkt zu öffnen, drücken Sie
danach um die Sprache einzustellen. Drücken Sie die um zu
bestätigen und zurück zum Hauptmenü zu gelangen.

Ermöglicht Ihnen eine verzögerte Inbetriebnahme der
Pumpe beim Start. Diese Verzögerung kann nur aktiv
werden, wenn Sie die Pumpe ausschalten und dann wieder
an, indem Sie die Stromzufuhr trennen.
Die Verzögerung kann ausgeschaltet werden, Off
(Standard), oder von 1 zu 60 Minuten eingestellt werden.
Wenn die Verzögerung eingeschaltet ist blinkt die LED
während dieser Zeit (1 Sek. An - 1 Sek. Aus) und der
Bildschirm zeigt der Countdown an. Falls die Pumpe im
Stopp Modus ist blinkt lediglich die LED. Während der
Verzögerungszeit kann man diese auch im Menü wieder
ausstellen.
Drücken Sie die Taste um den Menüpunkt zu öffnen,
drücken Sie danach um den Wert einzustellen.
Drücken Sie die um zu bestätigen und zurück zum
Hauptmenü zu gelangen.
Paragraph 5 – Einstellen der Kalibrierungsverzögerung

Paragraph 6 – Kalibrierung der Fließrate

Im Hauptmenü erscheint ein Wert in ml, welcher seit der
letzten Kalibrierung oder noch als Default-Wert gespeichert
ist.
Durch Drücken dieser Taste, dosiert die Pumpe für 30
Sekunden und zeigt den Countdown im Display
an.Währendessen wird mittels eines abgemessenen
Behälters ein Wert bestimmt, nachdem Sie die dosierte
Menge ermitteln können.
Nach 30 Sekunden,zeigt das Display den gespeicherten
Wert an , drücken Siec diese Taste, danach drücken
Sie , um den Wert auf den aktuell gemessenen Wert zu
verändern und drücken diese Taste zur Bestätigung.
Die eingegebenen Werte werden zur Flow-Berechnung
verwendet.

Paragraph 7 – Statistiken

Bedienung
Vom Hauptmenü ausgehend, gelangen Sie durch Drücken
dieser Taste zu den Statistiken:
- Z.Pumpe = Laufzeit der Pumpe
- Z.Tube = Laufzeit der Pumpe, seit Schlauchtausch.
- A.Pumpe = Dosierte Menge der Pumpe, welcher vom
gespeicherten Kalibrierungswert abhängt.
- Netzstr.= Zahl der Aktivierungen der Pumpe
- Alarm = Zahl der gemessenen Alarme
- Ruckset = benutzen Sie diese Taste, um die Zähler zu
reseten. Wählen Sie ,,Ja“ oder ,,Nein“ und bestätigen Sie mit
.
Drücken Sie diese Taste, um zum Hauptmenü zurück
zu kehren.
Paragraph 8 – Passwort

Wenn Sie ein Passwort anlegen können Sie den Bereich
Programmierung und alle Setup Parameter einsehen, aber
jedes Mal wenn Sie etwas ändern möchten werden Sie
aufgefordert das Passwort einzugeben.
Die blinkende Reihe zeigt die editierbare Zahl an; drücken
Sie die Taste um eine Zahl auszuwählen (1 bis 9),
danach drücken Sie die Taste um die zu bearbeitende
Zahl auszuwählen und danach die Taste zum
bestätigen.
Wenn Sie "0000" (Standard) wird das Passwort gelöscht.
