IRONING WITH STEAM FUNCTION
Filling the reservoir with water
Make sure that the iron is disconnected from the wall outlet.
Move the steam regulator (3) to position “0”.
Open the reservoir lid (2).
Place the spout inside the opening so no water gets spilled out.
Slowly pour the water inside the reservoir, using the water filling container (14). Do not overfill. The
maximum volume is about 200 ml and it is marked with the “MAX” sign on the reservoir [Pic. 1].
Close the reservoir lid (2).
Adjusting the temperature
Place the iron vertically on stable and flat surface.
Plug the supply cable to the wall outlet.
Set the regulator (11) to the desired temperature, based on the type of fabric you will iron [Pic. 2]. The
temperature indicator (6) is on indicating the warm up process of the ironing plate. Wait till the light goes
off. Now you may start ironing.
Note: During ironing the control light (6) goes off and on repeatedly. That indicates that the iron maintains
the temperature within the set value. If you ironed with high temperature and need to iron with low
temperature, do not start ironing before the light goes on again.
Setting the steam function
The amount of steam may be set by the regulator (3).
Set the regulator according to the required steam volume and temperature setting [Pic. 3].
Warning: The iron releases the steam continuously only in horizontal position. You may stop the steam
release if you place the iron in vertical position or by turning the steam regulator to position „0”. Based on
the symbols shown on the temperature regulator (11), use the steaming action only with higher temperature
settings. It the temperature is too low, water drops may drip from the ironing plate.
Using the shot-steam button and steaming during vertical ironing
Press the shot-steam button (5) to shot strong impulse of steam through the fabric. The steam will penetrate
deeply in the fabric and straightens even badly wrinkled cloth. Wait couple second before pressing the shot-
steam button again [Pic. 4].
You may use the shot-steam button during vertical ironing (curtains, clothing on hangers, etc.) [Pic. 5].
Note: Use the shot-steam button only during high temperature settings. As soon as the temperature
control light (6) comes on, stop the steaming action. You may continue when the light goes off.
DRY IRONING
If you want to iron without the use of the steam follow the same steps as described in Chapter ironing with
steam function but leave the steam regulator (3) in the “0” position.
Spraying function
Make sure you have enough water in the reservoir. To moisten the fabric, press the steam spray button (4)
[Pic. 6].
Note: We recommend moistening soft fabrics with the spray button (4) or you may place a wet cloth
between the fabric and the ironing plate. To prevent spots from forming do not use the spray function on
silk and synthetic fabrics.
CLEANING
Before performing any maintenance or cleaning always disconnect the supply cable form the wall outlet,
empty the water reservoir and let the iron cool down.
The ironing plate is made of special material. To clean or remove any deposits or dirt from fabrics, use soft
cloth dipped in water or in neutral cleaning solution.
