Quick-Start Instructions
HINT: Prior to use, be certain the P100 is
turned on.
SCAL-100 must be “on” to transmit data.
IMPORTANT: P100s must be free of dirt
and dry, prior to testing.
WARNINGS:
Perform all tests in a gas-free area.
Check test gas expiration dates, prior to use.

SCAL-100
QUICK-START INSTRUCTIONS
1. Find suitable location in gas-free area Desk or
wall mount is possible.
2. Connect gas supply at 20psi inlet pressure.
3. Attach power supply (unit will turn on
automatically).
4. Attach to LAN (Scal-N software installed
separately)
5. Turn on or zero P100
6. Place P100 into holder and “snap” in place.
Top in rst and bottom second.
Gas supply will indicate green light if adequate
gas pressure is sensed.
“Busy” LED will ash during operation and
upload.
Bump Test will be attempted rst for no more
than 30 seconds.
If passed then PASS indicator will ash.
If failed calibration will automatically be
attempted.
Calibration time is 2 min max.
PASS or FAIL indication upon completion.
7. Remove Detector by releasing bottom rst.
Data is stored for later upload through server
operation.
