Wall Mounted Lighted Mirror
Introduction
Designed for easy installation, your Serene S2044 “Parisian’ Wall Mounted Lighted
Mirror includes a simple on wall mount bracket for faster and easier installation.
Safety Information
 When using any electrical appliance, safety precautions should always be observed. Read
these instructions carefully, and retain for future reference. For service, contact your
nearest authorised service agent.
 When used by, or near young children or infirm persons, close supervision is
necessary. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
 Do NOT use this appliance other than for its intended use.
 Use this appliance with the voltage specified on the rating label.
 Be very careful not to touch hot surfaces or moving parts.
 Do NOT cover the grilles or place any object or material up against the unit as this
may block the entry or exhaust of airflow.
 Do NOT probe any opening to remove fluff. To ensure trouble-free performance, it is
recommended that the unit be isolated from the power supply and a vacuum cleaner
used to remove dust and fluff from the inlet and outlet grilles on a regular basis.
 Regulations require that electrical work be carried out by authorised persons. For
your own safety and that of others, ensure this is done.
 Do NOT allow the supply cord to come into contact with heated surfaces during
operation.
 If the supply cord becomes damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified person in
order to avoid a hazard.
Installation
This product is designed to be permanently hard wired ONLY.
It is not suitable to be plugged into a wall socket.
This appliance MUST be installed in accordance with relevant wiringrules and regulations which
cover inofappliances and accessories in damp situations, such as bathrooms, showers, laundries
and other areas with fixed water containers (in Australia and New Zealand - AS/NZS
3000:2000 Wiring Rules).

Important: The mirror must NOT be located immediately below a socket outlet or within reach
of a bath or shower
To attach the mirror to the wall:
1. Remove the wall mounting base from the Mirror by unscrewing the 2 knurled knobs
located on the front face
2. Secure the mounting base to the wall using the fixing screw holes provided. The base
supplied with the mirror must be used when attaching the heater to the wall.
3. Position the mirror onto the mounting base and attach the mirror as above (1).
4. A suitable disconnect device is required to be incorporated in the fixed supply wiring.
Operation
The operation of the mirror is controlled by use of the rocker switch on the front face.
Care
The mirror faces and chrome plated parts require cleaning with a damp cloth from time to
time operation.
 Isolate the heater from the mains power supply.
 Use a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the heater. Do not use any abrasive cleaners.
 Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and fluff visible on the heater inlet and outlet
grilles.
 Ensure the heater is dry before turning the mains power supp ly to the heater back on.
