Terrace DNA Installation Packet
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1
Step 1- Remove top cap & install segment bars
Step 2 –Install Upper and Lower shrouds.
Position the top shroud first between panel vertical
members. Have helper holder upper shroud while
installing lower. Note: side with small channel is where
the glass is placed (outside position.)
A. Position shroud so that cut outs on end go
through the vertical upright
B. At approx 40 degrees, maneuver opposite end
of shroud so that its cut outs are aligned w/
vertical upright.
C. Squeezing the shroud on the opposite end
will aid in installation of horizontal shroud.
D. Complete motion by sliding upper shroud
into place (have assistant hold while lower
is installed).
With top shroud in place, maneuver lower shroud so
that one corner is in upper position as shown. This will
allow clearance for the lower portion to fit through
verticals.

Step 3 –Install Glass
Option 1:

Note: Ensure glass is completely encapsulated by the top
and bottom horizontal shrouds.
Step 4 –Install Side Shrouds (glass removed for clarity)
From the front side, insert sheet metal vertical side
shields so that they align with square knockout on
frame.
*Make sure shroud is
behind extrusion
Note: ensure that glass is fully encapsulated after
completing Step 4.

Step 5 –Install Lock Tab
*Lock tab option will NOT work with DNA frames earlier
than Nov. of 2010.
From the back side, install lock tab by sliding through
knockout.
Some maneuvering of lock tab around internal dovetail
may be needed. (Parts removed for clarity)
Align pegs in knock out and press down to lock into
place.
Step 6 –Install Cover Shrouds
View from backside.
Vertical shroud
removed for clarity
Lower top horizontal shroud onto vertical shrouds
ensuring tabs insert to the top horizontal shroud slots.
Lift up top horizontal shroud
Tip vertical shroud against panel frame verticals- be
careful not to scratch show surface.
Place a vertical shroud over each panel vertical
member and onto bottom horizontal shroud. Insert
longer tab (with paint hang hole) into bottom
horizontal slot.
Note: ensure that clips are pressed fully to bottom
of knockout. Repeat Step 5 for other side.
