Important safety instructions
●Before the appliance is used, the main
body as well as any attachment fitted
should be checked thoroughly for any
defects. Should the appliance, for
instance, have been dropped onto a hard
surface, it must not be used any longer:
even invisible damage may have adverse
effects on the operational safety of the
appliance.
●Do not let children operate the water jet
without supervision.
●Always ensure that the selected jet
attachment is correctly and safely fitted.
●Do not point the water jet towards any
sensitive parts of the body such as the
eyes. Always point it towards the mouth!
●Do not fill the tank with hot water.
Dental water jet

●Pour out any remaining water after use.
●Before use, the power unit, the charging
base and its power cord must be
thoroughly checked for any signs of
damage. In the event of such damage
being found, the water jet must not be
used. In case of any malfunction during
use, remove the plug from the wall
socket first.
●When removing the plug from the wall
socket, ensure that your hands are dry.
Do not remove the plug with wet hands.
●No responsibility is accepted if damage
results from improper use, or if these
instructions are not complied with.
●This appliance is intended for domestic
use only and not for commercial
applications.
●In order to comply with safety
regulations and to avoid hazards, repairs
of electrical appliances must be carried
out by qualified personnel, including the
replacement of the power cord. If repairs
are needed, please send the appliance to
one of our customer service departments.
The address can be found in the
appendix to this manual.
Positioning/Mounting
Before operation, the unit must be placed on
a safe non-slip surface, or fitted horizontally
on the wall.
Mounting the wall bracket
-
Drill two 6 mm holes aligned horizontally
with the mounting holes in the wall
bracket.
-
The bracket can now be mounted on the
wall, ensuring that it is securely held in
place.
-
Fit the housing by sliding it down over
the bracket until it is heard locking into
place.
-
Replace the insert in the storage unit.
When positioning the insert, make sure
that the lower part of the insert rim is
placed on the side studs of the lid. This
will ensure that the insert is lifted up
when the lid is opened.
To remove the appliance from its wall
bracket:
-
Open the storage unit and lift out the
insert.
-
Use a screwdriver to push the mounting
catch of the wall bracket slightly
outwards and pull the wall bracket away
from the unit with a downward motion.
Before using the waterjet for the first time
-
Before the appliance is used for the first
time, or after extended periods of non-
use, fill the water tank with fresh water
and run the water jet with open jet
nozzles at the highest pressure setting (7).
Let the unit run over a sink until the tank
is empty.
-
Before using the jet attachments for the
first time, clean them thoroughly with
warm water.
Water jets
This unit offers you the choice between
single-jet and multiple-jet attachments.
-
The single-jet attachment is designed for
thorough, selective cleaning of the spaces
between the teeth.
-
The multiple-jet attachment is suitable
for general cleaning, as well as for
massaging the gums.
Operation
-
Before the water jet is used, the teeth
should be cleaned with a regular tooth
brush.
-
Fit the selected jet attachment to the
power unit in such a way that the nozzle
opening faces in the same direction as the
water control slide switch. Make sure
that the attachment is properly and
securely connected.
●To ensure that the jet nozzles are clean
and without blockage, a short water burst
at the highest pressure setting (7) should
be directed into the sink before and after
use.
-
Afterwards, use the pressure regulator to
select the desired pressure setting (1=
low, 7 = high). We recommend starting
with the lowest setting 1, especially if the
user is susceptible to bleeding gums, or if
the water jet is being used by children.
-
Do not fill the tank with hot water.
-
With your head held over the sink, guide
the jet attachment to your teeth and
gums. When the water control slide
switch is pushed up, the water is forced
through the jet nozzles and will run from
the slightly opened mouth into the sink.
-
To interrupt the cleaning process, simply
push the slide switch down again.
-
After cleaning the teeth, use the On/Off
switch to turn the power off.
-
Clean the unit after use as described in
the section General care and cleaning
below.
General care and cleaning
●Always remove the plug from the wall
socket before cleaning the appliance. To
avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
clean the housing or the power cord with
water, and do not immerse them in
water. The housing may be wiped clean
with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
-
Pour out any remaining water from the
water tank after use.
●Always remove the jet attachments after
use and clean them thoroughly under
running warm water. Carefully wipe
them dry afterwards and replace them in
the storage unit.
-
Make sure that the power unit is
completely dry before is replaced to the
charging base.
●When using additives of any kind with
the water, the tank must be thoroughly
rinsed with fresh water after use. Refill
the tank with 100ml of fresh water
afterwards, and let the unit run over a
sink at a high pressure setting until the
tank is empty.
