Intended Usage
The popcorn maker appliance is intended for use
in private households. It is not intended for use in
commercial or industrial environments and is not
suitable for use outdoors.
Safety instructions
Risk of electrical shocks
• Connect the appliance to a mains power socket
delivering a voltage of 220V-240V ~ 50 Hz.
• Power consumption: 1200W
• Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables
to be replaced at once by qualified technicians
• Ensure that the power cable never becomes wet
or moist during operation.
• Never submerge the operating/heating element
or the housing with the power cable in water,
and do not clean these components under
running water.
• Do not use any accessories that are not
recommended by the manufacturer. They could
constitute a danger to user and damage to the
appliance.
• Do not operate the appliance if it has sustained
a fall or is damaged. Arrange for the appliance
to be checked and, if necessary, repaired by
qualified technicians.
Risk of personal injury!
•This appliance is not intended for use by
individuals (including children) with restricted
physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or
deficiencies in experience and/or knowledge
unless they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or receive from this
person instruction in how the appliance is to be
used.
•Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
•Ensure that the appliance stands with a safe and
secure position - do not let the mains cord hang
over the edge of a table, or touch hot surfaces.
•Unplug from outlet when not in use.
•Do not leave the appliance unattended when in
use.
•Extreme caution must be used when unloading
popcorn or near hot steam to avoid burns.
Normal use of the apparatus
Whilst the appliance is in operation, do not leave
unattended
Do not operate with wet or damp hands.
Make sure that no liquid gets into the motor
section.
Remove the plug from the socket before
removing the upper cover from the
appliance, before cleaning or when not in
use.
Maximum operating time is 10 minutes,
after which the appliance must be switched
off and unplugged for at least 10 minutes
before next use
Positioning the apparatus
•Always place the appliance at the back of the
kitchen counter.
•Do not place next to hot areas, for example
gas rings and electric hotplates.
• Do not place next to wet areas, for example
kitchen sink.
Cord, plug and mains socket
•Ensure that the cord is fully extended.
•Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge
of a table/counter, and keep it away from hot
objects and naked flames.
•Check regularly that neither cord nor plug is
damaged and do not use if they are, or if the
appliance has been dropped or damaged in any
other way.
•If the apparatus or plug is damaged, it must
be inspected and if necessary, repaired by an
authorised repair engineer, otherwise there is a
risk of electric shock. Never try to repair the
appliance yourself.
•Avoid pulling the cord when removing the
plug from the socket. Instead, hold the plug.

Before first use
Before using your appliance for the first time, carefully remove all packaging and
clean the various accessories carefully.
Clean and dry the top cover thoroughly before use.
Clean the body of the appliance using a slightly dampened cloth and dry

How to use
•Place the Popcorn Maker on a level surface.
•Preheating of the appliance is not necessary.
•Measure Popcorn using the Measuring Cup provided. One full measure per
session is enough.
•Pour the corn into the popping chamber (corn-in-let) after removing the cover.
•Do not add any other ingredients such as: oil, shortening, butter, margarine,
salt or sugar, as damage will occur.
•Replace the cover and place a heat resistant bowl beneath the chute.
•Place the measuring cup back into its position in the cover.
•Plug in to mains supply.
•Switch the on switch to “I”. The appliance will begin operating.
•Never remove the cup or the top cover when popping is in progress.

•Corn will begin to pop and will flow out of the chute into the bowl.
•When the corn has stopped popping return the switch to position “O”.
•NOTE: Before starting another portion of popcorn, remove any un-popped corn
from the popping chamber.
•Fresh corn kernels give best results. Once a pack of corn kernels has been
opened, it should be stored in an airtight container.
WARNING: ALLOW THE MANCHINE TO COOL DOWN FOR AT LEAST 10 MINUTES
BEFORE USING A SECOND TIME.
Cleaning
Before cleaning, please ensure that the Switch knob is at the “0” position and that
the plug has been disconnected from the socket.
After use, allow the device to cool down before you start to clean it.
•To clean the outer surface of the popcorn maker, use a soft damp cloth and dry
it afterwards with a dry towel. Do not use abrasive creams, steel wool or
scouring pads. Clean only after unplugging the popcorn maker from the mains
supply.
•Wipe the interior of the popcorn maker with a dry cloth, being careful not to
allow any water into the popping chamber, as this will damage the machine.
•All removable parts on the popcorn maker should be detached and cleaned
thoroughly in warm, soapy water at regular intervals

Disposal Information
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household
waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your local
authority for recycling advice.
Warranty
This new shef product has a warranty period of 12 months beginning at the date of
purchase. Please retain a proof of purchase receipt or statement as proof of the
purchase date.
The warranty only applies if the product is solely used in the manner indicated in the
warnings page of this manual, and all other instructions have been followed
accurately. Any abuse of the product or the manner which it is used will invalidate the
warranty.
Returned goods will not be accepted unless re-packaged in its original colour box, and
accompanied by a relevant and completed returns form. This does not affect your
statutory rights.
