1. READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL
BEFORE OPERATING THE BELLARATM SIDING SHEAR.
2. The BELLARATM Siding Shear comes with a 1 year warranty.
To activate your warranty, you must register your product by
visiting our website at www.vicwest.com/prokutwarranty.
3. If you are not thoroughly familiar with the operation of the
BELLARATM Siding Shear and would like additional guidance,
please call 450-527-7840.
4. STAY ALERT. Do not operate while under the influence of drugs,
alcohol, or medication.
5. Always wear safety approved eye protection with side shields
(ANSI Z87.1).
6. Keep work area clean and free of debris.
7. Keep children and unauthorized persons away from the
BELLARATM Siding Shear and work area.
8. Make sure tool is secure. Operate only on a firm substrate
or solid stand. We recommend bolting shear to work bench,
table or other solid/stable surface (bolts are not included).
9. Do not force the BELLARATM shear to cut or use it for a job for which
it was not designed. This BELLARATM ProKUT has only been approved
for use with the Vicwest BELLARATM siding.
10. Always keep hands away from blade while operating or carrying.
11. Do not alter or misuse this tool. The BELLARATM Siding Shear is
precision built; modifications not specified in this manual may result
in a dangerous condition.
12. Maintain the BELLARATM Siding Shear with care. Keep blade sharp
and clean. A dull blade will not perform properly.
13. Use only recommended accessories. The use of improper
accessories may cause hazards or injury.
14. Never leave the BELLARATM Siding Shear unattended. Secure the
handle in place by inserting a safety lock pin in the hole as indicated
in Step #6b (page 4) - Pin is not provided.

Installation of the Cutter
The BELLARATM Siding Shear will require minimal assembly before using. Please insert the
hand grip using supplied bolt and nut. Once attached, your BELLARATM ProKUT is ready for use.
Make sure tool is secure. Operate only on a firm substrate or solid stand. We recommend
bolting shear to work bench, table or other solid/stable surface. (bolts are not included).
Inserting BELLARATM

1. Raise the swivel plate
2. Slide BELLARATM under the
swivel plate as shown.
3. Lower the swivel plate.
Note:
BELLARATM needs to be placed under
the swivel plate with the fastener holes
towards you.

Safety Step Before Cutting
First step is to secure the blade,
as follows:
1. Lift the handle.
2. Pull up on the back of the blade
and this will pivot, causing the
unit to be in the locked position.

Cutting BELLARATM Steel Siding
You are now ready to cut BELLARATM. To do this you need to release the pivot.
1. Raise the handle to its highest position.
2. Pull back on the back of the blade.
3. Use your left hand to hold the grip and with your right hand, pull down
on the handle firmly to cut through the BELLARATM siding.
4. Raise the handle and pull back the blade to put the cutter in to the locked position.
Transport
Close the BELLARATM Siding Shear by
lowering the handle. Make sure the
handle of the shear is completely closed
before lifting. For added security we
recommend inserting a 5/16” diameter
pin (not supplied) into the hole as
shown below. The weight of the shear
is about 20lbs.
Maintenance
For any service or maintenance, please contact
Siding Tools Industries at 450-527-7840.
Warning: Do not put your fingers against the sharp edge
of the blade at any time. It is recommended to lubricate the
blade on a regular period of time with PL-100 or equivalent.
Do not use WD-40.
