A helmet may not always be able to protect you from injury.
Helmet fitting
You will only ensure optimal protection if your helmet fits just right.
Please note that for some kids, removing the comfort foam padding
attachments may provide the best fit. Please use the instructions in
the manual as a guide; you may also visit www.sikhhelmets.com for
further details to help with getting the right fit.
The helmet must not rest on the back of your head, but should not
be pulled too low on your forehead either and must not be shifted
to the left or right.
Adjusting the helmet
This helmet features a fit adjustment dial.
Place the helmet level on your head with the fitting ring open. The
bottom edge of the helmet must rest 1-2 finger-widths above the
top of your nose.
If the helmet can easily be
moved, the fitting ring (1l
must be set tighter. You do
this using the rotary knob (2).
Turning it clockwise makes
the circumference of the fitting ring smaller, turning it anti
clockwise make it bigger.
Tighten the fitting ring until it fully encircles your head and does
not become loose.
Adjusting the straps
In case of a fall, the helmet only
protects your head optimally if the
straps are correctly adjusted.
3
Place the two Y-shaped strap
holders (3) approx. 1 cm
below your ears.
