HPL™ technology in Flash&Go™ - Superior safety with lower energy level
Home Pulsed Light™ technology is able to achieve long-term hair removal results at a fraction of the
energy level used in other light-based hair removal equipment. The low energy used in Flash&Go™
reduces its potential to cause harm or complications, and contributes to your overall safety.
Flash&Go™ protects your eyes. The Flash&Go™ Hair Removal Device is intended for use below the
cheekbones but not around the eyes. HPL light can be harmful to the eyes even when not pointed directly at
them. To protect your eyes from such harm the Flash&Go™ Hair Removal Device has a built-in safety feature
for eye protection. It has been designed so that a light pulse cannot be emitted when the treatment surface
is facing open air. The Pulse Trigger is enabled only when the treatment surface is in full contact with the skin.
Flash&Go™ protects your skin. Flash&Go™ comes with a Skin Color Sensor enabling use only on lighter
skin complexions to ensure skin safety. Furthermore, the 0.9X3cm² Optical Lens through which pulses of
light are delivered is recessed inside the device’s treatment surface. This enables Flash&Go™ to protect your
skin by avoiding direct contact between the optical lens and the skin.
Flash&Go™ is not designed for everyone. Please read and consider the information in the following section before use.
For further information and personalized advice, you may also visit www.silkn.com or your local Flash&Go™ domain.
If you are unsure if Flash&Go™ is safe for you to use, please ask your doctor or dermatologist!
Important Safety Information – Read Before Use!
DO NOT USE Flash&Go™ on a naturally dark skin complexion!
Silk’n Flash&Go™ is intended for removal of unwanted hair. Silk’n Flash&Go™ is also intended to eect long
term, or permanent hair reduction. The Flash&Go™ device is also intended for permanent reduction in hair
regrowth, defined as the long-term, stable reduction in the number of hairs regrowing when measured at 6, 9,
and 12 months after the completion of a treatment regime.

A unique Skin Color Sensor is embedded in Flash&Go™ to measure the treated skin complexion at the
beginning of each session and occasionally during the session. This Skin Color Sensor ensures that a pulse
will be emitted only on suitable skin tones.
Flash&Go™ removes unwanted hair by selectively addressing hair pigment. Varied quantities of pigment
also exist in the surrounding tissue of skin. The quantity of pigment in a particular person’s skin, which is
manifested by their skin complexion, determines the degree of risk they are exposed to using Flash&Go™.
Treating dark skin with Flash&Go™ can result in adverse eects such as burns, blisters, and skin color
changes (hyper- or hypo-pigmentation)
Tanned skin, particularly following sun exposure, contains large quantities of the pigment Melanin. This
applies to all skin types and complexions, including those which don’t seem to tan quickly. The presence of
large quantities of Melanin exposes the skin to higher risk when using Flash&Go™.
Using Flash&Go™ on skin that has been recently exposed to sunlight can result in adverse eects such as
burns, blisters, and skin color changes (hyper- or hypo-pigmentation).
DO NOT USE Flash&Go™ on naturally dark skin!
DO NOT USE Flash&Go™ on tanned skin or after recent sun exposure! Such
use can cause burns or skin injury.
Avoid exposure to the sun for 4 weeks before your Flash&Go™ treatment!
DO NOT USE Flash&Go™ on tanned skin or after recent sun exposure!
Never use Silk’n Flash&Go™ around or near the eyes – Flash&Go™ can be used
only from the cheekbones down.
Do not use the Flash&Go™ Device anywhere on the ears, nipples, or genitals, or
around the anus. These areas may have more sensitive skin, a darker skin
tone, and/or a greater hair density, and using the Flash&Go™ device there may
cause serious skin injury.
It is not recommended to use the Flash&Go™ device on man’s face, jaw, or neck.
The hair in a man’s beard area is too dense for this purpose.
Skin
Hair
The Flash&Go™ device may not be as eective on naturally white, grey, blond and red body hair.
Hair removal by lasers or intense pulse light sources can cause increased hair growth in some individuals.
Based upon currently available data, the highest risk groups for this response are females of Mediterranean,
Middle Eastern and South Asian heritage treated on the face and neck.
Although, Silk’n Flash&Go™ can be used for the treatment of facial hair, extra caution should
be used on the face to avoid the eyes.

solar urticaria, lupus, etc.
If you have a history of skin cancer or areas of potential skin malignancies.
If you have received radiation therapy or chemotherapy treatments within the past 3 months.
If you have any other condition which in your physician’s opinion would make it unsafe for you to be treated.
If you are unsure if Flash&Go™ is safe for you to use, please consult with your doctor or
dermatologist.
6. Precautions – How to use Flash&Go™ Safely
Choose your energy levels CAREFULLY!
Energy level refers to the intensity of the light pulse that is projected on your skin during use, from the
lowest level to the highest level. Indicator lights on the control pad illustrate the energy level at which the
machine is set. As the energy level increases, so do the results of Flash&Go™ as well as the risk of side
eects (see section 8 -“Risks of Using Flash&Go™”).
Always begin your first use of Flash&Go™ at the lowest energy setting!
Only if you experience little or no discomfort during and after use of Flash&Go™ at the lowest energy
setting, raise the energy level by one indicator light the next time you use Flash&Go™, and so on for each
subsequent hair removal session.
For detailed instructions on energy level setting, see “Energy Level” box in section 10.2 - “Treating with
Flash&Go™ for the first time”.
Avoid adverse eects!
Do not treat the same area of skin more than once per hair removal session!
Try to avoid overlapping pulses!
If your skin blisters or burns, STOP USE IMMEDIATELY!
Avoid complications after use of Flash&Go™!
Do not expose treated areas of skin to the sun!
Sun exposure includes constant unprotected exposure to direct sunlight for over 15 minutes, or constant
unprotected exposure to diuse sunlight for over 1 hour.
To protect recently treated skin when exposed to sunlight, be sure to thoroughly apply sunscreen SPF 30
or higher, for 2 weeks after each hair removal session.
Always shave the area to be treated and make sure that the skin is clean and dry before using
Flash&Go™.
Cover birthmarks and tattoos before Flash&Go™ application.
Never look directly at the light coming from the Flash&Go™ treatment surface.
Do not use Flash&Go™ on nipples and genitals (male or female).
Do not use Flash&Go™ on any body site where you might later want hair.
Do not use Flash&Go™ for any purpose other than hair removal.
Never point the Flash&Go™ treatment surface in an attempt to emit a light pulse into open space. Always
make sure that the surface is pointed at, and in full contact with the skin during application.
Remove the Flash&Go™ treatment surface from the skin if either the skin or the surface is too hot.

Minor Skin Discomfort
Although home pulsed light hair removal is generally very well-tolerated, most users do feel some mild
discomfort during use, usually described as being a mild stinging sensation on the treated skin areas. The
stinging sensation usually lasts during the application itself or for a few minutes thereafter. Anything beyond this
minor discomfort is abnormal and means that either you should not continue to use Flash&Go™ because you
are unable to tolerate the hair removal application, or that the energy level setting is too high.
Skin Redness
Your skin may become red right after using Flash&Go™ or within 24 hours of using Flash&Go™. Redness
generally clears up within 24 hours. See your doctor if redness does not go away within 2 to 3 days.
Increased Sensitivity of the Skin
The skin of the treated area is more sensitive so you may encounter dryness or flaking of the skin.
Skin Wounds and Burns
Very rarely, burns or wounds to the skin can occur following the application. The burn or wound can
require a few weeks to heal and, extremely rarely, may leave a noticeable scar.
Scarring
Although very rare, scarring may occur. Usually when scarring occurs, it is in the form of a flat and white
lesion on the skin (hypotrophic). However, it can be large and red (hypertrophic) or large and extend
beyond the margins of the injury itself (keloid). Subsequent aesthetic treatments may be required to
improve the appearance of the scar.
Pigment Changes
Flash&Go™ targets the hair shaft, in particular the pigmented cells in the hair follicle and the hair
follicle itself. Nevertheless, there is risk of temporary hyperpigmentation (increased pigment or brown
discoloration) or hypopigmentation (whitening) to the surrounding skin. This risk of changes in skin
pigmentation is higher for people with darker skin tones.
A typical full hair growth cycle may take 18-24 months. During this time multiple Flash&Go™ sessions may
be required in order to achieve permanent hair removal.
The eciency of hair removal varies from person to person according to body area, hair color, and how
Silk’n Flash&Go™ is used.
Typical Silk’n Flash&Go™ hair removal plan during a full hair growth cycle:
Treatments 1-4 – plan two weeks apart
Treatments 5-7 – plan four weeks apart
Treatments 8 + – treat as needed, until desired results are achieved.

Usually discoloration or changes to skin pigment are temporary and hyperpigmentation or
hypopigmentation rarely occur.
Excessive Redness and Swelling
In rare cases, treated skin may become very red and swollen. This is more common in sensitive areas of
the body. The redness and swelling should subside within 2 to 7 days and should be treated with frequent
applications of ice. Gentle cleansing is OK, but one should avoid exposure to sun.
Infection
Infection of the skin is exceedingly rare but is still a possible risk following a skin burn or wound caused
by Flash&Go™.
Bruising
Very rarely, use of Flash&Go™ may cause blue-purple bruising that can last 5 to 10 days. As the bruising
fades, there may be a rust-brown discoloration of the skin (hyperpigmentation).
Expected Treatment Outcome for Hair Removal

1312
English
English
1. Individual response depends on hair type as well as biological factors that may aect hair growth patterns. Some users may respond quicker or slower
than the average number of treatments.
2. One cannot expect permanent epilation in a single or even double treatment sessions. The duration of the resting period for hair follicles also
depends on the body area.
10. How To Use Flash&Go™
10.1. Flash&Go™ Setup
1. Remove the Flash&Go™ hair removal device, and other components from box.
2. Plug the power cord into the Flash&Go™ Device socket.
3. Plug the other end of the power cord into an electrical outlet.
4. All six LED lights will blink on and o, one after the other, in a circle.
Your Flash&Go™ is now ready to start.
10.2. Treating with Flash&Go™ for the first time
1. The skin should be shaved, clean, dry and free of any powders, antiperspirants or deodorants.
2. Press the central button briefly. The Energy level 1 led will turn on.
About 1 second later, the Ready Indicator Light will turn on. The device is now set to deliver the lowest energy
level pulses. The device is ready for you to trigger the first pulse.
3. If you wish to change the energy level, press the CENTRAL BUTTON quickly and repeatedly to increase the
energy level from 1 to 5 and from 5 directly back to 1, cyclically, until the desired energy level is set. The Energy
Level indicator Lights will indicate the energy level setting. (See “Energy Level” frame).
Energy Level
Energy level determines the intensity of the Flash&Go™ light pulse delivered to your skin, from the
lowest level (1) to the highest level (5). Corresponding indicator lights on the control panel represent
the increases in energy. As energy level increases, so do hair removal results as well as the risk of possible
side eects and complications.
Always start your first Flash&Go™ hair removal session at the lowest energy setting.
If you experience little or no discomfort during and after the hair removal session using the lowest energy
level, raise the energy level by one indicator light at the next session, and so on for each subsequent session.
Do not raise the energy level if you experience abnormal discomfort during or after
treating with Flash&Go™ (See section 8 - “Risks of Using Flash&Go™”).
Do not raise the energy level during a hair removal session even if you experience no
discomfort. Discomfort may also appear sometime after the session.
Whenever Flash&Go™ is turned on; its energy level will automatically be reset to the lowest energy level.
Only one Energy Level indicator Light will be on.
To set the energy level, press the central Button repeatedly to increase the energy level. After reaching level
5, an additional press will bring the level back down to Level 1, and so on, cyclically. The number of Energy
Level indicator Lights will coincide with the change in energy level.
4. Apply the TREATMENT SURFACE to the skin, making sure the skin is spread evenly and smoothly and
the TREATMENT SURFACE is in full contact with the skin. Make sure the Ready Indicator Light starts
blinking slowly.
5. Press the Pulse Trigger. The device will first determine the color of your skin.
If the color of the skin is light enough for safe application, the device will flash a pulse of light onto your
skin. You will see a bright flash of light and simultaneously hear a subtle pop sound, which is a normal
noise for the device. You may feel a mild sensation of warmth and tingling.
Flash&Go™ will immediately recharge for the next pulse. After a few seconds (depending on the set
energy level) the Ready Indicator Light will turn on again and start blinking.
If you see no light pulse, and the Ready Indicator Light blinks rapidly, this is now the SKIN COLOR
WARNING INDICATOR LIGHT alerting that your skin tone is too dark for safe application. Try using
the device on a dierent body part or contact Silk’n support.
6. Move the TREATMENT SURFACE to another area of skin.
Administer one pulse at a time at your chosen energy level. Use the pressure marks the device just made in
your skin to guide you for proper positioning of the next pulse, avoiding both gaps and overlaps between pulses.
Flash&Go™ can be applied in two ways: “Pulsing” and “Gliding”.
7. Repeat the process starting again with Step 5.
PULSING
When Pulsing, administer one pulse at a time at your chosen energy level. Use
the pressure marks the device just made in your skin to guide you for proper
positioning of the next pulse, avoiding both gaps and overlaps between pulses.
Covering skin areas
Treatments should be administered in rows, starting at one end of each row and
progressing sequentially towards the other end. This technique allows better
control of skin coverage, and helps you avoid treating the same area more than
once or overlapping skin areas. Ideal body areas for Flash&Go™ use include the
underarms, bikini line, arms and legs and below cheekbones line.

10.3.What to Expect when treating with Flash&Go™?
For many people, using Flash&Go™ may be their first experience with a light-based device designed for home
use. Flash&Go™ is simple to use, and hair removal sessions go by quickly. During a Flash&Go™ session it is
normal to experience and feel:
A Flash of Light – The bright light of Flash&Go™ will not harm the eyes when applied to non-facial sites,
and special eye-protection is not needed when using Flash&Go™.
A Fan Noise – The cooling fan in Flash&Go™ sounds similar to a hairdryer. This is normal.
A Pop Sound with Each Pulse – When a pulse of HPL™ light is activated, it is normal to hear a subtle pop
sound simultaneously with the flash of light.
Moderate Pressure of the Treatment area – This is necessary and helpful for placement of adjacent pulses
of light, and is part of the unique safety features of Flash&Go™.
A Sensation of Warmth and Tingling – During each pulse of light, it is normal to feel a mild sensation of
warmth and tingling from the light energy. Remember it is important to always use low energy settings for
initial hair removal sessions. You may feel some warmth for up to an hour after your Flash&Go™ session.
Some Mild Red or Pink Color – During and just after your Flash&Go™ session it is not uncommon to
see some very mild, pink-like color of the skin. This is usually most noticeable around the hairs themselves.
However if you see full redness of the skin, blistering or burns, stop use of Flash&Go™ immediately.
GLIDING
Alternatively, if you choose the Gliding method, hold the PULSE TRIGGER down continuously, and
slide the device smoothly along the treated area. Please note that this method is best applied when
working with low energy pulses. This way, the device takes only 1-1.5 seconds to recharge between
pulses and provides a nonstop sequence of flashes.
In both methods of treatment you are cautioned not to treat the same area of skin more than once
per hair removal session! Treating the same area of skin more than once per session increases the
likelihood of adverse eects.
Gliding should be applied while holding the PULSE TRIGGER down continuously, and using a light
sliding motion, smoothly moving the device along the treated area. The treatment is then
administered quickly and more eciently. Even though Gliding is usually done using low energy
pulses for fast recharge, it is still essential to control skin coverage and avoid double treatments.
When applied to the skin, the Flash&Go™ TREATMENT SURFACE is designed to create temporary
pressure marks on the treated area. These visible marks can be used for proper positioning of the
device for treatment sessions.
Skin care following hair removal session
Do not expose the treated areas of skin to the sun. Be sure to carefully protect the
treated skin with sunscreen, throughout the hair removal period and for at least 2 weeks
following the last Flash&Go™ session.
Side eects and complications
Some patients may experience pigmentation changes resulting from treating with Flash&Go™. These eects, if
they occur, are generally mild and transient.
10.4.After treating with Flash&Go™
When a Flash&Go™ session has been completed, turn Flash&Go™ with an extended press of the CENTRAL
BUTTON. Be sure to remember the last energy level setting you used, as it will not be restored when turning
Flash&Go™ on again.
Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
After each hair removal session, it is recommended that you clean your Flash&Go™ device, especially the Treatment
surface (See section 11.1: “Cleaning Flash&Go™”).
After cleaning, it is recommended you store your Flash&Go™ device in its original box, and keep it away from water
If you experience any complication (See section 8 – “Risks of using Flash&Go™”)
please contact your physician immediately.
11. Flash&Go™ Maintenance
11.1. Cleaning Flash&Go™
After each hair removal session, it is recommended that you clean your Flash&Go™ device, and especially the
treatment surface.
Unplug Flash&Go™ before cleaning.
Use a dry, clean cloth and a specially formulated cleaner for electronic equipment to gently wipe the
Flash&Go™ outer shell, and especially the treatment surface.
Never immerse Flash&Go™ or any of its parts in water!
This device is to be orderly disposed of when reaching End of Life stage. In this way the device’s valuable
materials are recycled and the environmental burden avoided.
Deliver your old equipment to the nearest electronic waste collection point for safe and ecient disposal.

12. Troubleshooting
12.1.“My Flash&Go™ does not start.”
Make sure the power cord is properly connected to the Flash&Go™ device.
Make sure the power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet on the wall.
12.2.“A light pulse is not emitted when I press the PULSE TRIGGER”
Make sure the Ready Indicator is blinking.
Make sure you have good contact with the skin and that the treatment surface is evenly and firmly pressed to
the skin. For your safety, the Pulse trigger will activate a pulse only if the treatment surface is firmly pressed
against the skin.
Check the Indicator Light. If it blinks slowly, the Skin Color sensor has stopped the light pulse; the skin color
