Before first use
¾Remove the packaging material. Check if all parts
are complete.
¾Operate the product empty in order to
let any production residues evaporate
(approx. 45 seconds).
Before use
¾Clean the product (see “Cleaning and care”).
¾Place the product on a suitable and level surface.
¾Unwind the power cord 8from the cord retainer
5. Guide the power cord through the recess on
the edge of the housing.
¾Connect the power plug 8to a socket outlet.
Now, the product is ready for use.
Operation
¾Turn the lid 1in a counter clockwise direction
and take it off.
¾Fill the container 2with the required quantity of
coffee beans.
NOTES:
¾Do not fill the product with more than 70 g of
coffee beans. Otherwise the coffee beans will not
be ground properly.
¾Required quantities per cup of coffee:
– Filter coffee: Approx. 6 to8 g.
– Espresso: Approx. 9 g.
– Refer to your coffee maker's instruction manual
for further information.
¾Place the lid 1onto the product. Align

with 9. Turn the lid in a clockwise direction
until is aligned with

NOTE: The product operates only when the lid
1is properly closed and locked.
¾Press and hold the button 4until the coffee
beans have been ground to your requirements.
NOTES:
¾If coffee powder accumulates on the edge of
the container 2during grinding, where it is out
of the reach of the blade 6: Shake the product
gently so that the coffee powder falls back inside.
¾The coffee grinding grade is influenced by
the quantity of coffee beans and the length of
grinding.
¾The longer the coffee beans are grounded, the
finer the coffee powder. Shorter grinding results
in coarser coffee powder:
Grinding grade Gram Time
Coarse 70 g 30 s
Medium 45 g 35 s
Fine 36 g 45 s

NOTES:
¾Espresso: Coffee powder for espresso always
requires very fine grinding. To reach the grinding
grade needed for espresso, it is recommended to
grind a maximum of 36 g of espresso beans for
around 45 seconds.
¾Refer to your coffee maker's instruction manual
for further information on the grinding degree of
beans.
¾Once the coffee beans are ground to your
requirements: Release the button 4. Wait until
the blade 6has come to a standstill.
¾Disconnect the power plug 8from the socket
outlet.
¾Turn the lid 1in a counter clockwise direction
and take it off.
¾Remove the coffee powder with a spoon.
¾Remove residues with the cleaning brush 7.
