3) Insert the mains plug 4into a mains power
socket.
4) To start operating the appliance, move the speed
switch 2to the desired speed setting. You
can select between 5 speed settings and also
use the Turbo button 3(see section "Speed
levels").
5) Press the tool release button 1to release the
whisks 8or the kneading hooks 9.
NOTE
► For safety reasons, the whisks 8and kneading
hooks 9can only be released if the speed
switch 2is set to position "0".

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Never use containers made from glass or
other easily breakable materials. These con-
tainers may be damaged and cause injuries.
ATTENTION! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
► Never use the blender 0for hard foodstuffs
such as: coffee beans, ice cubes, sugar,
cereals, chocolate, raw/hard vegetables etc.
This could result in serious damage to the
appliance.
1) Open the fixture with the safety cover 5and
hold the safety cover firmly.
NOTE
► The blender 0can only be used if the
whisks 8or the kneading hooks 9are not
installed.
2) Push the blender 0into the fixture 5and
tighten it by turning in the direction of the
arrow and applying slight pressure.
3) To avoid overflowing, the container used for
blending should only be filled to about 2/3 of
its capacity. Select a suitably large container
or use the supplied measuring jug q.
NOTE
► In order to ensure that the ingredients are
properly mixed, the food that is being pro-
cessed should cover at least the lower part
of the blender 0.
► Do not switch the hand mixer on until the
blender 0has been inserted into the ingre-
dients to be blended.
4) Move the speed switch 2to the "Blender"
setting (see chapter "Speed levels") and
press the Turbo button 3. Keep the Turbo
button 3pressed down during the whole
procedure. The appliance stops as soon as it
is released.
ATTENTION! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
► Do not operate the blender 0continuously
for longer than 1 minute. After one minute of
use, allow the appliance to cool down fully.
