Before Use
Fitting the quick connector
ThistoolissuppliedwithtwodifferentmaleairlineQuickConnectors(5)(Fig.I):

Pleasechoosetheconnectorthatiscompatiblewiththeairlinesystemyouareusing,andinstallas
outlinedbelow:
1. ApplysomePTFEtape(notincluded)tothescrewthreadsoftheQuickConnector.Thiswillhelpto
maintain an airtight seal
Note: ApplyPTFEtapetightlyandinaclockwisedirection,soitdoesnotcomeoffwhenthethreadis
screwedintothetool.
2. Removetheprotectiveplugfromtheairinlet
3. Usingaspanner(notincluded)screwtheQuickConnectorintotheairinletlocatedatthebaseofthe
Handle(4)
4. Connecttoairline,pressurisecarefullyandcarryoutaleakcheck(e.g.bysprayingsmallamountsof
soapywaterontotheoutsideoftheconnectors)
• AirlinesttedwithmatchingfemaleQuickConnectorswillnowbeapushttothetool

3. CheckthattheDriveSpindle(8)cannotrotatefully,itshouldstopwhenittouchestheSpindleLock
Random orbit:
Thesandingpadorbitsarounditseccentricpath.Itcreatesarandomsandingpatterninalldirectionson
thesandedmaterial.

1. GriptheHandle(4)rmlywithonehand,soyourthumbcanoperatetheSpeedControl(3)
2. HoldtheBodyCover(1)withyourotherhand,tocontrolthetoolandapplypressuretothe
workpiece
3. FirstlysqueezetheSpeedControlgentlytofamiliariseyourselftothewaythetooloperates
Note:YoucanadjustthespeedofthetoolbyadjustingthepressureyouapplytotheSpeedControl.
4. Beginbyholdingthetoolgentlyagainsttheworkpiece,andslowlybuildingupspeedandpressure
WARNING:Thefrictionbetweenabrasiveandmaterialwillcauseheat.Checktheworkpiece
frequentlytoensureitdoesnotburn.

Daily maintenance procedure
Ifaninlinelubricatorisnotttedtotheairsupply,thetoolmustbemanuallylubricated:

2. Pour3-4dropsofoilintotheairintake
3. Operatethemachineatlowspeedtothoroughlylubricateallinternalworkings

functionalreplacementpart.

Silverline Tools does not guarantee repairs required as a result of:
Normalwearandtearcausedbyuseinaccordancewiththeoperatinginstructionsegblades,
brushes,belts,bulbs,batteriesetc.
Thereplacementofanyprovidedaccessoriesdrillbits,blades,sandingsheets,cuttingdiscsand
otherrelateditems.
Accidentaldamage,faultscausedbynegligentuseorcare,misuse,neglect,carelessoperation
orhandlingoftheproduct.
Useoftheproductforanythingotherthannormaldomesticpurposes.
Changeormodicationoftheproductinanyway.
