IMPORTANT ADVICE
When using the machine, the following basic precautions
should be taken :
• Carefully read the instructions before using the appliance for
the first time.
• This appliance is intended for domestic use only. Use for any
other purpose annuls the warranty.
• Before connecting your press to the mains, make sure that
your mains voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated on
the rating plate.
• You must use a mains supply which has an earth
connection, for your own safety.
• When unplugging the machine, pull the plug, not the cable.
• Make sure that the power cable does not touch any hot
surfaces.
• Never plug in nor unplug if your hands are wet.
• Great care must be taken when ironing in the presence
of children.
• Do not leave the press unattended while it is switched
on.
• Keep the press and its cord out of reach of children
less than 8 years of age when it is energized or cooling
down.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way

and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without supervision.
• To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high
wattage appliance on the same circuit.
• If an extension lead is absolutely necessary, a 10 amp cable
should be used. Ensure no one can trip over or unplug the
extension lead. It must be fitted with an earth connection.
• The appliance must not be cleaned or maintained by
children, unless they are more than 8 years old and
supervised by an adult.
• Never immerse the machine in water or other liquids, not
even partially.
• Do not use the appliance if it is damaged, if it leaks,
or if the power cable is damaged. to avoid any risk of
electric shocks, do not dismantle your iron. Contact
your nearest after sales service dealer for servicing or
repair.
• For any repair, contact an approved registered after-sales
service centre, so that the repair will be in accordance with
the standards indicated in this instruction book.
• Any repair done by an unauthorised person would cancel
the warranty.
• Once out of order, every appliance must be made unusable
before being thrown away. To this aim, the power cord must
be cut.
• The press must be placed and used on a stable, heat
resistant surface.
• Only use cold water.

• Do not put your hand between the steaming board and the
heating plate while ironing.
• Do not touch the hot surfaces.
• Let the machine cool down when you have finished ironing.
The steam generated is extremely hot and could
cause serious burns.
The manufacturer reserves the right to makes changes and alterations to the
product without prior notice.
SERVICE & REPAIR
1. For service or repair under warranty, please contact the authorized service
company that is mentioned on the guarantee card that accompanies the
product.
2. Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug. If the supply cord is
damaged, return the appliance to a SINGER service center for examination
repair or adjustment. Do not attempt to dismantle any part of the appliance.
This should only be done at an authorized SINGER service centre.
3. The partial or total non-respect of the safety instructions in the present
instruction manual will automatically release Singer of any type of
responsibility in case of malfunction of the machine or injuries to persons
or animals.
4. In case of manipulation, repairing or any modification of the machine made
by unqualified persons or in case of improper use, the guarantee will be
automatically cancelled.

Getting To Know Your Steam Press
1. Handle to open/close the press.
2. The Locking Knob will lock together the Pressing Plate and the Ironing
Board. Use this to carry or store the Steam Press
3. The Steam Burst Buttons on either side of the Pressing Handle produce a
burst of steam when pressed
4. The Pressing Plate is the temperature controlled surface that heats and
presses the fabric
5. Padded ironing/steaming board
6. The power indicator light illuminates when the unit is on.
7. ON/OFF switch
8. The ready light goes off when the Pressing Plate has reached the selected
temperature
9. The Steam Ready light goes on when the unit is ready to produce bursts of
steam

Important For Household Use Only
Filling Instructions:
Do not plug the unit in until you have filled the Water Tank
1. Set the appliance on a steady work surface
2. Unlock the Locking Knob
3. Raise the Pressing Plate
4. Filling the Water Tank: You can use either tap water or distilled water for
irons.
Depending upon the lime scale level of your tap water. Slide the Water Tank
forward (Fig. 1) using the filling container, pour water into the tank; slide the
Water Tank back into the unit
Note: To maintain your steam press in a good condition SINGER suggest for
every liter of water to use 700ml of distilled water mixed with 300ml tap water.
Operation Instructions
1 Turn the power to the “on” position (Fig. 2)
2. Identify the type of fabric you will press and then select the temperature
setting that matches the fabric to be pressed. It is best to start with the most
delicate fabrics first, as higher heat will cause damage to Nylon and Silks
(Fig. 3)
3. The press is ready for use when the Ready Light turns off. If pressing
cottons and linens steam burst will be available when the Steam Indicator
Light illuminates.
4. Do not activate the burst of steam when the unit is completely closed. Best
results are obtained if the press is held slightly open before activating the
burst of steam.

Steaming Tips
Pressing Garments
1. Lay the garment on the Ironing Board
2. Lower the heating plate using the handle. In the half closed position press
the steam burst button.
3. Leave the press closed for a few seconds in order to dry and press the linen.
4. Open the press by lifting the handle.
NOTE: the unit will automatically turn off the heating plate after 10 seconds in
the closed position. A beep will emit until the unit is opened. Once the unit is
opened, it will return to normal operation.

TROUSERS
For woolen items, use a damp cloth if necessary. Press the waist and the belt
pleats on the side of the board. You can use the pressing cushion according to
the pleats. Press, then open, etc turning the waist around the side of the board.
Place the cloth flat on the left-hand side of the board, adapting it to the shape
of the board. Press and open. Repeat the same for the second leg.
Lay the front pleat flat on the board starting with the upper part. The seams
must be on the edge of the board as any pressure on them could result in
marks or luster. Press and open
Other Techniques
Placing the press cloth between the fabric and the Pressing Plate may help
with delicate fabrics
Buttons and Zippers: if you have older types of buttons or zippers, you may
need to take care to avoid melting. In order to do so, place the item face down
and cover with a pressing cloth before pressing.
Spray bottles may be used by spraying the fabric lightly. This will further help to
remove stubborn wrinkles. Place a damp cloth over the fabric before pressing,
which will help with stubborn wrinkles or heavy gauge fabrics.
To press large pieces of fabric, place the entire piece in the storage area
behind the Ironing Board. Pull the fabric towards you, over the Ironing Board
and lower the Pressing Plate. Press the fabric in section until completed.

Using the Pressing Cushion
For garments constructed with details such as darts, curved seams, and
shoulder pads a Pressing Cushion may be used.
Use the cushion in areas where no creases are desired or to shape a tailored
garment.
Place the area to be pressed onto the Ironing Board. Place the Pressing
Cushion under the dart, seam, etc.
Making sure that the area to be pressed is raised, lower the Pressing Plate
until it meets the raised area.
Do not force the plate to its lowest position, as this may cause damage to the
unit.

Shirts and Blouses
Place the shoulder yoke on the Ironing Board first and press
Then place the sleeves on the Ironing Board with the fold parallel to the long
seam and press
Place the cuffs on the end of the board and press
Place the body of the shirt in the storage area so that you begin pressing the
side with the pocket. Pull the shirt towards you as you press each section
Then finish with the collar.

Cleaning The Steam Press
1. Place the Pressing Cushion in the middle of the Ironing Board
2. Place a clean towel over the Pressing Cushion and the Ironing Board
3. Set the temperature control to its highest setting
4. When the Steam Indicator Light illuminates, lower the Pressing Plate onto
the cushion
5. Press the steam burst button six times
6. Allow the Pressing Plate to cool.
7. Clean the plate with a damp cloth.
8. Do not use abrasives or you may damage the plate.
9. The Ironing Board cover is removable for cleaning. Hand wash only with
mild etergent.
Storage
After you have completed pressing and steaming, turn the power "Off". Wait at
least thirty minutes before storing the unit to allow it to cool off. After that turn
the Locking Knob to the Locked Position. Wrap up the cord and place in the
cord storage area below the Ironing Board (fig. 4).

Όταν χρησιμοποιείτε την πρέσα σας είναι σκόπιμο να
γνωρίζετε τις παρακάτω βασικές αρχές:
• Διαβάστε προσεκτικά τις οδηγίες χρήσεως πριν
χρησιμοποιήσετε τη συσκευή για πρώτη φορά.
• Αυτή ησυσκευή προορίζεται μόνο για οικιακή χρήση.
Οποιαδήποτε άλλη χρήση ακυρώνει την εγγύηση του
προϊόντος.
• Πριν τη χρήση βεβαιωθείτε ότι ηπρίζα σας ανταποκρί-
νεται στις ηλεκτρικές προδιαγραφές που αναγράφο-
νται στη βάση της πρέσας.
• Για τη δική σας ασφάλεια οι πρίζες θα πρέπει να έχουν
γείωση και να είναι σούκο.
• Ποτέ μην τραβάτε το καλώδιο για να αποσυνδέσετε

ότι δεν υπάρχει κίνδυνος να σκοντάψει κάποιος στο
καλώδιο ήνα αποσυνδέσει την επέκταση. Θα πρέπει να
χρησιμοποιείτε μια σύνδεση με γείωση.
• Ησυσκευή δεν επιτρέπεται να καθαρίζεται ήνα

επισκευή να τηρεί όλες τις προδιαγραφές που ορίζει ο

• Οποιαδήποτε επισκευή από μη εξουσιοδοτημένο
κέντρο service, καταργεί αυτόματα την προσφερόμενη
εγγύηση της εταιρείας.
• Όταν ησυσκευή δεν λειτουργεί πλέον, θα πρέπει να
αχρηστευθεί πριν την πετάξετε. Για αυτό το λόγο, θα
πρέπει να κόβετε το καλώδιο ρεύματος.
• Ηπρέσα θα πρέπει να τοποθετείται και να χρησιμοποιεί-
ται σε μια σταθερή επιφάνεια που αντέχει στις υψηλές
θερμοκρασίες.
• Χρησιμοποιήστε μόνο κρύο νερό για να γεμίσετε το
δοχείο νερού της πρέσας.
• Μην βάζετε τα χέρια σας ανάμεσα στις δύο πλάκες όταν
σιδερώνετε.
• Μην ακουμπάτε τις θερμές επιφάνειες της συσκευής.
• Αφήστε τη συσκευή να κρυώσει όταν τελειώσετε το
σιδέρωμα.
Οατμός που παράγεται είναι πάρα πολύ καυτός και
μπορεί να δημιουργήσει σοβαρά εγκαύματα.
Οκατασκευαστής δύναται να προβεί σε τροποποιήσεις της συσκευής
χωρίς προειδοποίηση.

ΣΥΝΤΗΡΗΣΗ & ΕΠΙΣΚΕΥΗ
1. Για συντήρηση ήεπισκευή εντός εγγύησης, παρακαλούμε
επικοινωνήστε με τα στοιχεία της εταιρίας service που αναφέρονται
στο φύλλο εγγύησης που συνοδεύει το προϊόν.
2. Μην λειτουργείτε τη συσκευή με φθαρμένο καλώδιο ήπρίζα,
εάν το προϊόν δυσλειτουργεί ήέχει πέσει ήέχει υποστεί βλάβη
με οποιονδήποτε τρόπο. Θα πρέπει να απευθυνθείτε σε ένα
Εξουσιοδοτημένο Κατάστημα Σέρβις της SINGER ήνα επικοινωνήσετε
με το Κέντρο Εξυπηρέτησης Πελατών της SINGER. Μην επιχειρήσετε
να αποσυναρμολογήσετε οποιοδήποτε εξάρτημα της συσκευής. Αυτό
μπορεί να γίνει μόνο από ένα Εξουσιοδοτημένο Κατάστημα Σέρβις
της SINGER.
3. Ημη τήρηση αυτών των κανονισμών και υποδείξεων που περιγράφονται
στο παρόν εγχειρίδιο απαλλάσσει τη Singer από κάθε ευθύνη σε
περίπτωση κακής λειτουργίας ήπρόκλησης βλάβης σε άτομα, ζώα, κλπ.

Βασικά Χαρακτηριστικά της Πρέσας Ατμού
Καθαρά, «επαγγελματικά» σιδερώματα κάθε φορά που σιδερώνετε!
• Ηεπιφάνεια σιδερώματος της Πρέσας είναι εφτά φορές μεγαλύτερη
από την επιφάνεια που καλύπτουν τα απλά σίδερα.
• ΗΠρέσα ατμού θα σας βοηθήσει να μειώσετε τον χρόνο που σιδερώνετε
στο μισό!
• Διαθέτει πολλές ρυθμίσεις για σιδέρωμα με ατμό ήχωρίς ατμό. Η
ρύθμιση απότομης εκτόξευσης ατμού (burst) σιδερώνει ακόμα και τα
πιο δύσκολα σημεία.
• Ρυθμιζόμενη θερμοκρασία
• Ηλεκτρονικό σύστημα ασφαλείας, αν ξεχαστεί ηάνω θερμαινόμενη
πλάκα κλειστή κάνει αυτόματη διακοπή ρεύματος με παράλληλη
ηχητική ειδοποίηση.
• Σύστημα αυτόματης επανεκκίνησης – από θέση αναμονής - της
συσκευής για να συνεχίσετε γρήγορα το σιδέρωμα.
• Λυχνία ένδειξης λειτουργίας.
• Προστατεύει τα ευαίσθητα υφάσματα, όπως τα μεταξωτά.

Εξοικείωση με την Πρέσα Ατμού
1. Χειρολαβή για το άνοιγμα κλείσιμο της πρέσας.
2. Με το κουμπί κλειδώματος – ασφάλεια - ασφαλίζουμε την άνω
θερμαινόμενη πλάκα στην κάτω θέση. Διευκολύνει την μεταφορά και
αποθήκευση της πρέσας Ατμού.
3. Τα κουμπιά εκτόξευσης ατμού – ένα σε κάθε άκρη της λαβής -
εκτοξεύουν μια δέσμη ατμού όταν πατηθούν.
4. Ηάνω θερμαινόμενη πλάκα της πρέσας είναι το τμήμα που θερμαίνεται
και πρεσάρει το ρούχο.
5. Το κάτω τμήμα της πρέσας είναι ησιδερώστρα.
6. Ηενδεικτική λυχνία ισχύος είναι αναμμένη όταν ησυσκευή έχει τεθεί
σε λειτουργία.
7. Διακόπτης που ανάβει και σβήνει την πρέσα (ON – OFF)
8. Λαμπάκι θερμοστάτη
9. Ηενδεικτική λυχνία ετοιμότητας ατμού ανάβει όταν ηπρέσα είναι
έτοιμη να εκτοξεύσει ατμό.
