IMPORTANT SAFETY RULES
GTJZ0608E&0808E Operation Manual 9©April 2023
Tipping Hazard
• Before driving the machine onto
any ground, bridge, truck or other
surface, check if the loading ca-
pacity of the surface is sufficient
to support the machine (machine
weight + platform load). Do not
drive the machine on any surfaces
or edges that are not capable of
fully supporting the machine.
• Operators must familiarize them-
selves with the ground conditions
of the work area before commenc-
ing work.
• Do not operate the machine on
moving surfaces or vehicles.
• The total weight of personnel, de-
vices and materials on the plat-
form shall not exceed the
maximum carrying capacity of the
platform, and all loads shall be
kept within the specified range of
the platform.
• It is forbidden to drive the ma-
chine on slopes, steps or arched
surfaces that exceed the maxi-
mum allowable climbing angle of
the machine.
• Do not use the tilt alarm as a hori-
zontal indicator. The tilt alarm on
the platform will sound only when
the machine is heavily tilted.
• When the platform is raised, if the
tilt alarm sounds, lower the plat-
form carefully, and do not modify
the level switch or limit switch.
• When the platform is raised, do
not drive the machine on uneven
or soft surfaces, or slopes that ex-
ceed the maximum allowable
climbing angle of the machine, or
in other dangerous conditions.
• The platform can only be raised
or extended when the machine is
on solid, flat ground.
• When the machine is traveling on
uneven ground, or on other rough
ground with gravel, or near cave
openings, steep slopes, etc., be
careful and reduce the speed.
• Do not push or pull any objects
outside the platform.
• Never push or pull other equip-
ment or objects with the platform
or scissor arm.
• Do not place or attach any sus-
pended load on or to any part of
the machine.
• Do not place any load outside the
perimeter of the platform.
• Using the machine as a hoist or
crane is strictly prohibited.
• Never attach the machine or its
parts to any adjacent objects.
• Do not operate the machine while
the chassis box is opened.
• When one or more tires are off
the ground, first evacuate all per-
sonnel and then stabilize the ma-
chine with cranes, hoists,
forklifts, or other suitable
equipment.
• Without written authorization of
the manufacturer, it is forbidden
to modify, remove or install any
parts, including counterweights,
which may affect the safety and
stability of the machine.
• Do not replace critical parts that
affect the stability of the machine
with parts of different weight or
specifications. For example, bat-
teries not only provide power, but
also serve as a counterweight,
and are crucial for maintaining the
stability of the machine.
• If the machine can be used out-
doors, do not operate the machine
when the wind speed exceeds
12.5m/s (28mph) (including gust).
Please check the Beaufort wind
force scale in Page 10, Table 2-2 .
Factors that affect wind speed in-
clude: platform height, surround-
ing terrain, local weather. For
example, the wind speed at high
places may be much faster than
those on the ground.
