Inleiding
In het belang van een veilig gebruik vragen wij u om de handleiding door te nemen en de veiligheids- en
gebruiksvoorschriften na te leven.
Veiligheidsbepalingen
• Het aansluiten van de ribbenbuiskachel dient te gebeuren door een erkend installateur en moet in
overeenstemming zijn met de plaatselijk geldende veiligheidsvoorschriften.
• Zorg in alle gevallen voor een vrije luchtstroming langs de ribben.
Minimaal 100 mm rondom
• Het vermogen in de kachel is overeenkomstig de huidige normen zo gekozen dat deze niet heter worden dan
85°C boven de omgevingstemperatuur.
• De kachel mag nooit worden afgedekt.
• Voorkom aanraking van de hete ribbenbuis.
• De thermostaatvoeler dient altijd boven in de elementenbuis te zitten voor een goede beveiliging.
• De kachel dient overeenkomstig de plaatstelijke voorschriften beveiligd te zijn.
• Voor het openen van het aansluithuis dient de kachel te zijn afgekoeld en de spanning te zijn afgeschakeld.

De WD-L is (grijs) geëpoxeerd, GG-L is gegalvaniseerd.
Toepassing
• Ribbenbuiskachels type WD-L worden toegepast in gewone droge ruimten en in vochtige ruimten met “niet
brandbaar materiaal” conform NEN 1010
Installatie instructies
• Controleer of de lokale netspanning overeenkomt met de aansluitspanning als vermeld op de typeplaat van de
ribbenbuiskachel.
• De veiligheidsbepalingen moeten worden nageleefd.
• De ribbenbuiskachel is zowel geschikt voor vaste aanleg als ook snoer en stekker.
• Monteer bij vaste aanleg een 2-polige schakelaar met een contactafstand >3mm (werkschakelaar).
• De ribbenbuiskachel dient horizontaal te worden gemonteerd met de thermostaatvoeler boven.
• Een veiligheidsaarde zoals bedoeld in de laagspanningsvoorschriften is verplicht.
• De ribbenbuiskachel niet direct onder een wandcontactdoos of een thermostaat monteren.
Inbedrijfname
• Controleer voor inschakelen of de kachel juist is aangesloten en geen uitwendig zichtbare defecten vertoont.
Bediening
• De ribbenbuiskachel zorgt door natuurlijke ventilatie langs de ribben voor confectie en stralingswarmte, en heeft
verder geen bedieningsfuncties.
• Indien een ruimtethermostaat is gemonteerd dient deze op de gewenste waarde te worden ingesteld.
Onderhoud
• Bij normaal gebruik en omgeving is de kachel onderhoudsvrij. Het is aan te bevelen de kachel vrij van stof te
houden voor een goede warmteafgifte.
Accessoires
• Ruimtethermostaat voor droge ruimtes
• Ruimtethermostaat voor vochtige ruimtes
Voordat u de storingsdienst belt
Controleer zo mogelijk op:
• Stroomstoring
• Zekering defect
• Uitgeschakelde (aardlek)automaat
• Defect in snoer of stekker
• Of het toestel door oververhitting is uitgeschakeld,
(de knop van de thermostaat indrukken). Zo ja, controleer of het
toestel afgedekt is (geweest) en dat er voldoende ventilatie
rondom de ribbenbuis mogelijk is.
Milieu
Dit product mag niet als huisvuil worden behandeld maar moet bij een
inzamelpunt voor hergebruik van elektrische en elektronische apparaten
worden aangeboden. Het symbool in de gebruiksaanwijzing en op het
product attendeert u hierop. De in het apparaat gebruikte materialen
kunnen worden gerecycled. Met het recyclen van gebruikte elektrische
en elektronische apparaten levert u een belangrijke bijdrage aan de bescherming
van het milieu. Voor meer informatie over het inzamelen en recyclen kunt u contact
opnemen met uw lokale overheid.

Introduction
In the interest of safe use you are obliged to read this manual carefully and comply with the safety and operating
instructions.
Safety regulations
• The installation of the nned tube heaters must be performed by an approved installer and must be inaccordance
with local regulations.
• Please make sure there is a free airow across the ns.
100 mm in all directions
• In accordance with applicable standards the power rating of the heater is such that the temperature of the heater
will not exceed 85°C above ambient.
• Do not cover the heater.
• Direct contact with the heating elements must always be prevented.
• The thermostat sensor must always be mounted at the top of the tube for a proper protection.
• The heater should be safeguarded in accordance with local regulations.
• Before opening the junction box, the heater must be allowed to cool down and the power switched o󰀨.

This heater complies with the CE directives.

Type WD-L is (grey) epoxy coated, GG-L is galvanized.
Application
• Finned tube heaters are used in normal dry environments and in moist environments where “non-ammable
material” is stored, in compliance with IEC 60364.
Installation instructions
• Please make sure whether the local voltage is in accordance with the voltage mentioned on the type-plate of the
nned tube heater.
• The safety regulations must be obeyed.
• The heater is suitable for xed wiring as well as cord and plug.
• In case of xed wiring we advise to mount a 2-pole switch, contact distance >3mm (disconnecting switch)
• The nned tube heater should be mounted horizontally.
• Earthing as specied in the low voltage regulations is mandatory.
• Never mount the heater directly underneath a wall socket or thermostat.
Commissioning
• Before turning on the heater please check whether it is connected properly and there are no visible defects.
Operation
• Through natural ventilation across the ns the nned tube heater provides heat convection and radiation and does
not carry any control functions.
• If a room thermostat is mounted it should be set to the desired value.
Maintenance
• Under normal use and conditions the heater is maintenance free. It is recommended to keep the heater free from

• Fuse failure
• Switched o󰀨 (earth leakage) circuit breaker.
• Defect in plug or cord
• If the heater has been switched o󰀨 due to overheating (press the
safety thermostat button). Check whether or not the heater is or
has been covered and whether there is enough ventilation possible
around the heater.
