SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Danger / Caution: Indicates risk of personal injury and/or the possibility of
damage.
Note: Supplementary information.
IMPORTANT: Please read the following instructions carefully, failure to do
so could lead to serious personal injury and / or damage to the motor-
cycle jack.
When using your motorcycle jack, basic safety precautions should always be followed
to reduce the risk of personal injury and / or damage to the motorcycle jack or vehi-
cle.
Read all of these instructions before operating the motorcycle jack and save this user
manual for future reference.
The motorcycle jack should not be modified or used for any application other than
that for which it was designed.
The motorcycle jack was designed for safely lifting motorcycle`s or similar up to its
rated capacity of 680kg.
If you are unsure of its relative applications do not hesitate to contact us and we will
be more than happy to advise you.
Before operating the motorcycle jack always check no parts are broken, that no oil is
leaking and that no parts are missing.
Always operate the motorcycle jack safely and correctly.
KNOW YOUR MOTORCYCLE JACK: Read and understand the owner's manual and la-
bels affixed to the motorcycle jack. Learn its applications and limitations, as well as
the potential hazards specific to it.
KEEP CHILDREN AND UNTRAINED PERSONNEL AWAY FROM THE WORK AREA: All visitors
should be kept at a safe distance from the work area; never allow untrained persons
to operate the motorcycle jack.
STAY ALERT: Always watch what you are doing and use common sense.
NEVER LEAVE THE MOTORCYCLE JACK UNATTENDED: When in use / under load.
HAVE YOUR MOTORCYCLE JACK REPAIRED BY A QUALIFIED PERSON: The motorcycle
jack is in accordance with the relevant safety requirements. Repairs should only be
carried out by a qualified person using original spare parts, otherwise this may result in
considerable danger to the user and void the warranty.

DANGER! Check that the motorcycle jack is in sound condition and good working or-
der before each use; Take immediate action to repair or replace damaged parts.
WARNING! Only operate on a level and stable surface and never use on soft ground
where the motorcycle jack is likely to “sink” whilst in operation.
NEVER STAND ON THE MOTORCYCLE JACK: The motorcycle jack is not designed for this
purpose.
DO NOT dismantle or tamper with the motorcycle jack, as this may be dangerous and
will invalidate the warranty.
ALWAYS ensure the vehicle is central on the saddle.
If a problem with the motorcycle jack is experienced or suspected stop using the
motorcycle jack immediately and contact your distributor for repair.
Do not attempt to lift a vehicle that exceeds the rated capacity of the motorcycle
jack.
Do not attempt to lift a vehicle beyond the maximum height of the motorcycle jack.
Never work on or under a loaded jack.
Regularly inspect and lubricate the motorcycle jack, ensuring that it is in good work-
ing order and condition.
Always ensure that the work area is clean and tidy, free from unrelated materials and
has adequate lighting.
When lifting / lowering a vehicle ensure a minimum distance of 0.5m between the
vehicle and static objects such as doors, walls, etc. to allow for tilting during jacking.
Ensure that no one is sitting on the vehicle before jacking.
DO NOT sit on the vehicle whilst it is supported on the jack.
Check the vehicle`s weight and recommended lifting points by referring to the vehi-
cle’s manual. Ensure that the lifting point is not corroded.
DO NOT allow the vehicle to move, or try to be started during jacking.
DO NOT start the engine when the vehicle is jacked up.
DO NOT jack a vehicle if this may result in the spillage of fuel, battery acid, or other
dangerous substances.
Check that the lifting saddle is centred and stable on the lifting point (off-centre
loads can slip).
Keep hands, limbs etc. clear of moving parts during the raising and lowering of the
vehicle.
DO NOT top-up the vehicle jack with brake fluid, or other oil types; use only hydraulic
oil.
DO NOT adjust the safety overload valve.
Ensure that there are no persons or obstructions beneath the load before lowering.
Clean and stow the vehicle jack correctly, with the ram in the down position, DO
NOT leave it extended; ensure the storage area is dry.
IMPORTANT! Ensure that you can see the lifting saddle and jacking point throughout
the jacking operation in case there is any relative movement.

overloading can lead to personal injury or damage to the racing jack.
CAUTION: The warnings and cautions mentioned in this user manual can not cover all
possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the oper-
ator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this prod-
uct, but must be applied.

NEVER move the jack if the vehicle is not secured with the ratchet straps.
ALWAYS use the height lock bars whilst the vehicle is raised, this will prevent the vehi-
cle dropping and causing personal injury or damage to the vehicle.
DO NOT make any modifications to the jack as this will make the jack unsafe; Any
modifications made will void your warranty.
ALWAYS check the jack prior to lifting the vehicle.
DO NOT use if the hydraulic ram is leaking oil or any damaged parts are found, have
the parts replaced before attempting to use it.
IMMEDIATELY after the vehicle is raised, ensure that both height lock bars are en-
gaged and secure.
NEVER use the straps to tow a vehicle or to suspend anything in the air, the straps
were not designed for this.
ALWAYS inspect both straps before operation, DO NOT use any strap found with cuts
or that are worn or damaged, have these replaced before operation.
DO NOT use pliers or similar to operate the ratchet lever, this could possibly damage
the ratchet mechanism and void any warranty you may have.

BLEEDING
1. Lower the lifting saddle to its lowest position.
2. Loosen the oil fill screw.
3. Pump the foot pedal up and down quickly 6-8 times, this will purge the air from
the system.
4. Check and top up the oil if required.
5. Retighten the oil fill screw.
A periodic coating of light lubricating oil to pivot points, axles and hinges will help to
prevent rust and assure that wheels, castors and pump assemblies move freely.
LUBRICATION
CLEANING
Periodically check the pump piston and ram for signs of rust or corrosion. Clean as
needed and wipe with an oily cloth.
Note: Never use sandpaper or abrasive material on these surfaces.
Note: Contact your local authority on how / where to dispose of the waste
oil.
1. Lower the lifting saddle to its lowest position.
2. Place the jack on its side and with a cross headed screwdriver, unscrew the oil
fill screw fully from the hydraulic ram and drain the old oil into a suitable con-
tainer.
3. Turn the jack on its other side and fill with fresh hydraulic oil until the oil reaches
the bottom of the threads.
4. Refit the oil fill screw.
5. Wipe away any excess oil.
6. Return the jack to its upright position.
If air gets into the hydraulic system the jack will not operate correctly and will need to
be bled. To bleed air from the hydraulic system, follow the instructions below.

Caution: Take care when lowering the jack that nothing can get trapped
in the moving parts of the jack, or under the vehicle.
1. Lower the lifting saddle to its lowest position.
2. Place the jack on its side.
3. With a cross headed screwdriver, unscrew
the oil fill screw fully from the hydraulic unit.
4. Fill with SAE 5W hydraulic oil until it reaches
the bottom of the threads.
5. Refit the oil fill screw.
ADDING OIL
Note: Do not touch either the foot pedal or the release pedal when filling
with oil.

1. Pump the foot pedal so that both height lock bars clear both ridges on either
side of the frame.
2. Pull back on the height lock release bar and push into the retaining clip to se-
cure it.
3. Press down gently on the release pedal until it reaches the lowest position.
4. Remove both ratchet straps.
5. The vehicle can now be removed.
OIL CHANGE
For the best performance and longest life, completely change the oil at least once
per year. Always dispose of hydraulic oil in accordance with local regulations.

CONTENTS & ACCESSORIES
This SIP motorcycle jack is covered by a 12 month parts and labour warranty covering
failure due to manufacturers defects. This does not cover failure due to misuse or op-
erating the vehicle jack outside the scope of this manual - any claims deemed to be
outside the scope of the warranty may be subject to charges Including, but not lim-
ited to parts, labour and carriage costs.
This guarantee does not cover consumables such as rubber pads and oil etc.
In the unlikely event of warranty claims, contact your distributor as soon as possible.

LIFTING THE JACK
Note: Follow the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended guidelines for lift-
ing. Always refer to the vehicle manufacturer owner’s manual to locate
approved lifting points on the vehicle.
Note: Only operate on a level and stable surface and never use on soft
ground where the motorcycle jack is likely to “sink” whilst in operation.
1. Place the lifting saddle under the lifting points on the vehicle .
2. Use both ratchet straps to secure the vehicle to the jack.
3. Pump the foot pedal (3) until the saddle comes into contact with the lifting
points, do not start to lift the vehicle just yet.
4. Lock both rear castors by applying both castor locks (6).
5. Use the foot pedal again to start lifting the vehicle to the desired height.
6. Once at the desired height check to make sure that both height lock bars sit
tight against both ridges, if it doesn't then gently press down on the release pe-
dal (7) until it fits tightly against the ridge on both sides.
LOWERING THE JACK
Note: Always make sure both height lock bars are tight against both ridges
on either side of the frame, failure to do so will make the load unsafe and
could cause personal injury or damage to the vehicle.
Danger / Caution: Always use the supplied ratchet straps when lifting a vehicle,
failure to do so could lead to damage to the vehicle or personal injury to you or
anyone in the vicinity.
Danger / Caution: Note: Only remove the ratchet straps when the vehicle is at the jacks
lowest position, never remove the straps when the vehicle is jacked up, this will make the
vehicle unsafe and could possibly cause damage to the vehicle or personal injury to you or
anyone in the vicinity.
7. Stabilize the jack by screwing down both locking screws (5) on either side of the
jack.

Supplied with the motorcycle jack are two ratchet straps (1” wide x 15ft long), to use
the ratchet straps follow the steps below
Securing a vehicle with the ratchet straps:
Place the ratchet lever in the closed position (Fig.6)
Put the other end of the strap through the spindle centre, then loop it back over
the spindle (Fig.7).
Slightly tighten the strap by ratcheting the ratchet lever back and forth for about
5 or 6 times.
Place one hook on the hook support of the frame and pass the strap over the
vehicle. Hook onto the opposite hook support.
Fully tighten the strap by ratcheting the ratchet lever back and forth until it is
tight.
When the strap is tight lock the ratchet by pushing the ratchet lever down so it is
in the closed position.
Repeat above steps for the other ratchet strap.

Note: Do not use pliers or similar to operate the ratchet lever, this could
possibly damage the ratchet mechanism and void any warranty you may
have.
Releasing the ratchet straps:
Hold the ratchet in one hand and with the other hand pull back on the release
latch.
Whilst still holding the release latch, open the ratchet lever fully so it passes the
locking gears and releases the load.
To completely remove the strap, pull up on the ratchet and slide the strap out.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the hydraulic ram between the slot on
the connecting frame and use the thumb
screw to secure in place (Fig.1).
2. Bolt the base of the hydraulic ram to the main
frame, secure using the 2x M8x25 bolts and 2x
M8 spring washers (Fig.2).

3. Attach the height lock release bar to the height
lock bars, secure using 2x M8 spring washers
and 2x M8 nuts (Fig.3).

4. Insert the foot pedal into the hydraulic ram sleeve and
secure with the M8x12 bolt (Fig.4).

5. Attach the handle to the connecting frame using
the handle pin (Fig.5).
6. Make sure all bolts are tight before use.
7. The vehicle jack is now ready for use.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Inspect before each use. Do not use if broken, bent, cracked or damaged parts are
noted. Any motorcycle jack that appears damaged in any way, or operates abnor-
mally should be removed from service immediately. If the motorcycle jack has been
or suspected to have been subjected to a shock load (a load dropped suddenly,
unexpectedly upon it), immediately discontinue use until the motorcycle jack has
been checked by an authorised service centre / agent (contact distributor or manu-
facturer for list of authorised service centres). It is recommended that an annual in-
spection be done by a qualified person/s.
DESCRIPTION
PRE-OPERATION CHECKS
The Motorcycle jack is ideal for performing minor repairs, oil changes and more, the
680Kg capacity will lift most motorcycles or similar.
