Prima di procedere a qualsiasi operazione di
pulizia o manutenzione è necessario togliere
l’apparecchio dalla rete.
Se l’apparecchio non è provvisto di cavo es-
sibile non separabile e di spina, o di altro
dispositivo che assicuri la omnipolare disin-
serzione dalla rete, con una distanza di aper-
tura dei contatti di almeno 3 mm, allora tali
dispositivi di separazione dalla rete devono
essere previsti nell’istallazione ssa.
Se l’apparecchio è provvisto di cavo ali-
mentazione e di spina, deve essere posto
in modo che la spina sia facilmente acces-
sibile.
Evitare l’uso di materiali che causano am-
mate (ambè) nelle immediate vicinanze del-
l’apparecchio. Nel caso di fritture fare parti-
colarmente attenzione al pericolo di incendio
che costituiscono olio e grassi. Particolar-
mente pericoloso per la sua inammabilità è
l’olio già usato. Non usare griglie elettriche
scoperte. Per evitare un possibile rischio di
incendio attenersi alle istruzioni indicate per
la pulizia dei ltri antigrasso e la rimozione di
eventuali depositi di grasso sull’apparecchio.
Vericare che tutti i componenti non siano
danneggiati, in caso contrario contattare il
rivenditore e non proseguire con l’installa-
zione.
Prima di installare il prodotto leggere atten-
tamente tutte le istruzioni di seguito ripor-
tate:
- Utilizzare un tubo evacuazione aria che ab-
bia la lunghezza minima possibile, limitato
numero di curve, materiale approvato nor-
mativamente.
- Evitare cambiamenti drastici di sezione
(diametro costante consigliato Ø 150 mm o
pari supercie).
Per il mancato rispetto delle precedenti istru-
zioni la ditta fornitrice non risponderà per
problemi di portata o di rumorosità e nessuna
garanzia sarà prestata.
AVVERTENZE
* I bambini e le persone inesperte o i disa-
bili possono utilizzare l’apparecchio solo
sotto la supervisione di adulti.
* L’aria raccolta non deve essere convo-
gliata in un condotto usato per lo scarico
di fumi di apparecchi alimentati con ener-
gia diversa da quella elettrica (impianti di
riscaldamento centralizzati, termosifoni,
scaldabagni, ecc.).
* Per lo scarico dell’aria da evacuare ri-
spettare le prescrizioni delle autorità com-
petenti.
* Prevedere un’adeguata areazione del lo-
cale quando una cappa ed apparecchi ali-
mentati con energia diversa da quella elet-
trica (stufe a gas, ad olio, a carbone, ecc.),
vengono usati contemporaneamente. La
cappa aspirante evacuando l’aria potrebbe
creare una pressione negativa nella stan-
za. La pressione negativa del locale non
deve superare i 0,04 mbar, evitando così
il risucchio dei gas di scarico della fonte di
calore. Pertanto bisogna attrezzare il loca-
le con delle prese d’aria che alimentino un
usso costante di aria fresca.
* La distanza minima tra la supercie del
piano di cottura e la parte inferiore della
cappa deve essere di 65 cm.
Quando l’etichetta dati tecnici interna alla
cappa mostra il simbolo , l’apparecchio è
in classe II°, quindi non necessita di collega-
mento a terra.
Quando l’etichetta dati tecnici interna alla
cappa non mostra il simbolo , l’apparec-
chio è in classe I°, quindi necessita di colle-
gamento a terra.
Nell’operazione di collegamento elettrico as-
sicurarsi che la presa di corrente sia munita di
collegamento a terra e vericare che i valori
di tensione corrispondono con quelli indicati
nella targhetta all’interno dell’apparecchio.

Eettuare il collegamento elettrico.
Inserire il gruppo nella sede predisposta, fa-
cendo attenzione che le molle, regolate in
precedenza (g.2), facciano presa mantenen-
do il prodotto stabile (Fig.3);
Inserire le quattro leve di bloccaggio e ssarle
avvitando le relative viti, (Fig. 4 e Fig. 5);
Ripristinare il ltro antigrasso rimosso in
precedenza.
Per il prodotto SL903-P ripristinare il pannel-
lo perimetrale.
INSTALLAZIONE
SL903-P e SM903
Prima di procedere all’installazione, per evi-
tare danni all’apparecchio, disinserire il ltro
antigrasso. La rimozione del ltro metallico
antigrasso avviene operando sull’apposita
maniglia e facendo ruotare il ltro verso il
basso sganciandolo dalla sua sede.
Per il modello SL903-P prima di rimuovere il
ltro antigrasso occorre estrarre il pannello
perimetrale ruotandolo verso il basso come
indicato dalla gura 1.
Eettuare nella supercie un foro delle di-
mensioni:
252mm x 649mm per SL903-P 290x700
252mm x 849mm per SL903-P 290x900
500mm x 375mm per SM903 520x400
680mm x 375mm per SM903 700x400
Fare attenzione nel lasciare almeno 60 mm di
materiale intorno al foro onde evitare danni
durante la successiva fase di installazione del
prodotto.
Regolare la posizione delle molle laterali in
base allo spessore del materiale su cui andrà
ssato il prodotto (Fig. 2).
SISTEMA D’USO
L’apparecchio è già predisposto sia per la ver-
sione ltrante sia per la versione aspirante.
Nella versione ltrante l’aria ed i vapori con-
vogliati dall’apparecchio, vengono depurati
sia da un ltro antigrasso sia da un ltro al
carbone attivo e rimessi in circolazione nel-
l’ambiente.
Nella versione aspirante i vapori vengono
convogliati direttamente all’esterno, trami-
te un condotto di evacuazione collegato con
la parte superiore della parete o del sotto.
L’utilizzo del ltro al carbone non è neces-
sario.
INSTALLAZIONE
SL EM903-P
Prima di procedere nell’installazione, per evi-
tare danni all’apparecchio, disinserire il ltro
antigrasso. La rimozione del ltro metallico
antigrasso avviene in primo luogo rimuoven-
do il pannello perimetrale ruotandolo verso
il basso (g.1), successivamente estrarre il
ltro antigrasso operando sull’apposita ma-
niglia e facendo ruotare il ltro verso il basso
sganciandolo dalla sua sede.
Eettuare nella supercie un foro delle di-
mensioni:

252mm x 849mm per SL EM903-P 290x900
Fare attenzione nel lasciare almeno 60 mm di
materiale intorno al foro onde evitare danni
durante la successiva fase di installazione del
prodotto.
E’ possibile scegliere quale uscita aria uti-
lizzare per l’evacuazione di fumi a seconda
della situazione su cui viene installato il pro-
dotto (g. 6).
Il pannello che contiene i componenti elettrici
può essere spostato nel lato opposto al ne
di usare l’uscita aria nel lato frontale (g. 7).
Dopo aver installato il raccordo uscita aria
fornito in dotazione, nell’uscita prescelta, ef-
fettuare il collegamento alla rete elettrica ed
inserire il gruppo come indica la g. 8.
Bloccare il gruppo mediante le sei viti in do-
tazione, ssandole come da gura 9.
Ripristinare il ltro antigrasso e il pannello
perimetrale.

INSTALLAZIONE
SL907
Prima di procedere nell’installazione, per evi-
tare danni all’apparecchio, disinserire il ltro
antigrasso. La rimozione del ltro metallico
antigrasso avviene in primo luogo aprendo il
pannello luminoso ruotandolo verso il basso
(g.1), successivamente estrarre il ltro an-
tigrasso operando sull’apposita maniglia e
facendo ruotare il ltro verso il basso sgan-
ciandolo dalla sua sede.
Eettuare nella supercie un foro delle di-
mensioni:
270mm x 498mm per SL907 52cm
270mmx675mm per SL907 70cm
Inserire il gruppo SL907 facendo attenzione
nel mantenere la pulsantiera a destra guar-
dando il prodotto frontalmente al piano cot-
tura.
Eettuare il collegamento elettrico e collega-
re la angia uscita aria ad un tubo di evacua-
zione idoneo.
Bloccare il gruppo mediante le quattro viti in
dotazione, ssandole come da gura 16.
Ripristinare il ltro antigrasso e chiudere il
pannello perimetrale.
FUNZIONAMENTO
Di seguito sono descritte le funzioni attribuite ai
tasti della pulsantiera del prodotto SL903-P, SL
EM 903-P, SL907 (g. 10):
A: Interruttore ON/OFF luci
B: Interruttore on (I velocità)/o motore
C: Interruttore II velocità
D: Interruttore III velocità
E: Interruttore IV velocità
F: Temporizzatore 10 min.
Di seguito sono descritte le funzioni attribui-
te ai tasti della pulsantiera del prodotto SM903
(g.11):
A: Interruttore ON/OFF luci
B: Interruttore on (I velocità)/o motore
C: Interruttore II velocità
D: Interruttore III velocità
E: Gemma spia
Telecomando (Dis.15)
Radiocomando per il comando a distanza di cap-
pe aspiranti.
Caratteristiche tecniche:

- Temperatura d’esercizio : - 20 + 55°C

Descrizione di funzionamento:
- Per accendere o spegnere la cappa premere
una sola volta il tasto:
- Per aumentare la velocità no alla 4a (max)
premere il tasto :
- Per diminuire la velocità no alla 2a pre-
mere il tasto:
- Per tornare alla 1 a velocità da una superio-
re premere due volte il tasto:
- Per accendere e spegnere le luci premere
il tasto:
Per impostare il temporizzatore premere il
tasto:
Il led più a destra inizierà a lampeggiare
(ogni 5 secondi), la cappa rimane accesa per
un tempo di 10 min alla velocità seleziona-
ta per poi spegnersi automa-ticamente. Au-
mentando o diminuendo la velocità mentre
il temporizzatore è attivo, quest’ultimo viene
disabilitato.
Modalità di funzionamento:
Nel caso siano installati due sistemi cappa-
radiocomando nello stesso locale o nelle im-
mediate vicinanze i sistemi avendo lo stesso
codice di trasmissione potrebbero essere in-
uenzati quindi è necessario cambiare il co-
dice di un solo radiocomando.
Generazione di un nuovo codice di tra-
smissione:
Il radiocomando viene fornito dalla fabbrica
con dei codici predeniti. Se si desidera una
nuova generazione di codici, occorre ese-
guire la seguente procedura: Premere con-
temporaneamente i tasti UP (+), STOP (0/1)
e DOWN (-) in modo continuo per 2 secondi,
nello stesso tempo si avrà l’accensione dei
led, successivamente premere i tasti UP (+)
e DOWN (-), 3 lampeggi dei led indicheran-
no che l’operazione è stata completata. ATT:
questa operazione cancella in maniera deni-
tiva i codici preesistenti.
Apprendimento del nuovo codice di tra-
smissione:
Dopo aver cambiato il codice di trasmissio-
ne nel radiocomando, occorre far apprendere
alla centrale elettronica della cappa aspirante
il nuovo codice nel seguente modo: premere
il tasto d’emergenza, posizionato nella parte
interna del prodotto, visibile dopo la rimo-
zione del ltro antigrasso, per due volte con-
secutive in modo da togliere alimen-tazione
al prodotto e ripristinarla, da questo momen-
to ci sono 15 secondi di tempo per premere
il tasto luce per far si che la cappa si sin-
cronizzi con il nuovo codice.
ATT.: La batteria deve essere sostituita ogni
anno per garantire la portata ottimale del tra-
smettitore, per sostituire la batteria scarica
rimuovere il coperchio di plastica, togliere la
batteria in uso e inserirne una nuova rispet-
tando la polarità indicata nel contenitore. La
batteria usata deve essere smaltita negli ap-
positi contenitori
Il prodotto è dotato di un dispositivo elettro-
nico che permette lo spegnimento automati-
co dopo quattro ore di funzionamento dal-
l’ultima operazione eseguita.

MANUTENZIONE
Un’accurata manutenzione garantisce un
buon funzionamento ed un buon rendimento
nel tempo.
Una cura particolare va rivolta ai ltri anti-
grasso.
Nei prodotti: SL903-P, SL-EM903P, e SL907
prima di rimuovere il ltro, aprire il pannello
luminoso ruotandolo verso il basso come da
g. 1.
La pulizia del ltro antigrasso può essere
eseguita a mano o in lavastoviglie. La pulizia
avviene in rapporto all’uso, almeno una volta
ogni due mesi.
Nel caso d’uso dell’apparecchio in versione
ltrante, è necessario sostituire il ltro car-
bone attivo periodicamente.
Il ltro di carbone si rimuove togliendo prima
il ltro antigrasso, poi tirando l’apposita lin-
guetta in plastica del ltro carbone sgancian-
dolo dalla sua sede. Il ltro al carbone viene
inserito nell’operazione inversa. La sostitu-
zione del ltro al carbone avviene in rapporto
all’uso, almeno una volta ogni sei mesi.
Per la pulizia dell’apparecchio stesso viene
consigliato l’uso di acqua tiepida e detersivo
neutro, evitando l’uso di prodotti contenenti
abrasivi.
Per sostituire le lampade alogene rimuove-
re l’anello blocca vetro (g.12 A), facendo
leva con un giravite. Durante l’operazione di
sgancio bisogna sorreggere il vetro (g. 12
B). Smontare la lampada (Fig. 12 C), facendo
attenzione a non toccarla con mani nude. So-
stituire con lampade dello stesso tipo. Dopo
aver sostituito la lampada reinserire l’anello
blocca vetro, incastrandolo.
Sostituzione Lampade quadrate.
Per la sostituzione delle lampade nei faretti di
forma quadrata premere il telaio del faretto
in corrispondenza della sigla “PUSH”(Fig.13 e
Fig.14), quindi sostituire la lampade e chiu-
dere il faretto premendo sempre il telaio per
agganciarlo.
SOSTITUZIONE LAMPADA FLUORSCENTE
SL907
Per la sostituzione delle lampade uorescenti
nel prodotto SL907 occorre aprire il pannello
perimetrale ruotandolo come da Fig. 1, ri-
muovere le viti di ssaggio (g. 17) del pan-
nello facendo attenzione nel sorreggerlo
accuratamente quindi, estrarre le lampade e
sostituire quella danneggiata (g. 18).
Ripristinare il pannello.
La sostituzione del cavo alimentazione deve
essere eseguita esclusivamente da personale
autorizzato.

If the ap-pliance is not provided with a non-
separable exible cable and plug, or with
another de-vice ensuring omnipolar discon-
nections from the grid, with an opening di-
stance between the contacts of at least 3 mm,
then such di-sconnecting devices must be
supplied within the xed installation. If the
xed appliance is endowed with a sup-ply
cord and a plug, the appliance has to be
put in a place where the plug can be rea-
ched easily.
* The use of materials which can burst into
ames should be avoided in close proxi-
mity of the appliance. When frying, please
pay particular attention to re risk due to oil
grease. Being highly inammable, fried oil is
especially dangerous. Do not use un-covered
electric grills. In order to avoid possible re
risk, all in-structions for grase-lter cleaning
and for removing eventual grease deposits
should be strictly followed.
Before installing the appliance, make sure
that none of the parts is damaged in any way.
In case of damaged parts, contact your retai-
ler and do not proceed with installation.
Read all of the following instructions with
care before installing the appliance.
- Use an air outlet pipe of the shortest pos-
sible length.
- Limit the number of pipe bends.
- Use a material approved by standards and
regulations.
- Avoid any sudden changes in pipe section
(recommended constant diameter: 150 mm
or equal surface area).
WARNINGS
The appliance is not intended for use by
young children or inrm persons without
supervision. Young children should be su-
pervised to ensure they do not play with
the appliance.
* The cooker surface and the inferior part
of the cooker hood must be at a minimun
distance of 65 cm.
* The air sucked can’t be conveyed throu-
gh or into a duct used to let out fumes
from appliances fed by energy other than
electric power (eg. centralized heating, ra-
diators, water-heaters, etc.).
* To evacuate the air outlet, please comply
with the pertaining rules given by compe-
tent authorities.
* Provide the room with an adequate aeration
when a cooker hood and appliances fed by
energy other than electric power (gas-, oil-,
or coal- stoves, etc.) are used simultaneously.
The cooker hood, when evacuating the sucked
air, could generate a negative pressure in the
room- which can’t exceed the limit of 0.04
mbar, in order to avoid the suck of exhausts
deriving from the heat-source. Therefore the
room should be provided with air-intakes to
allow a costant ow of fresh air.
If the rating lable in the cooker-hood
shows the symbol , the appliance is
built in class II° and it does not need any
earth connection.
If the rating lable in the cooker-hood does
not show the symbol , the appliance is
built in class I° and it needs the earth con-
nection.
* When performing the electrical connections on
the appliance, please make sure that the current-
tap is provided with earth connection and that
voltage values correspond to those indicated on
the label placed inside the appliance itself.
Before carrying out any cleaning or main-tai-
ning operations, the appliance needs to be
removed from the electric grid.
USES
The appliance is already arranged both for
ltering and for suction performances.
* In its ltering version the air and fumes
conveyed by the appliance are depured both
by a grease lter and by an active coal lter.
In its sucking version fumes are directly con-
veyed outside, through an evacuation duct
connected with the superior part of the wall
or the ceiling. Both coal lter is not necessary
in this case.

To avoid any damages remove the grease
lter before proceeding with the installation
pulling the handle and making the lter turn
dawnwards before removing it.
In the model SL903-P, before removing the
grease lter remove the perimetrical panel
turning it downwards as per Fig.1.
Make a hole taking care of the following di-
mensions:
252mm x 649mm for SL903-P 290x700
252mm x 849mm for SL903-P 290x900
500mm x 375mm for SM903 520x400
680mm x 375mm for SM903 700x400
Make attention to consider at least 60mm of
material Around the hole in order to avoid
any damage during the following product in-
stallation phase.
Adjust the position of the lateral springs
making attention of the thickness of the ma-
terial you are using to x the unit (Fig. 2).
Connect the appliance with the electric
mains.
Insert the unit from below, making sure that the
springs, previously adjusted(Fig. 2), are strong
enough to keep the product xed (g. 3);
Insert the four blocking levers and x them
using the screws, as showed in g. 4 and g.5;
Mount the grease lter, Only for SL903-P
model to install the perimetrical panel.
INSTALLATION
SL EM903-P
To avoid any damages remove the grease
lter before proceeding with the installation
pulling the handle and making the lter turn
dawnwards before removing it.
In the model SL903-P, before removing the
grease lter remove the perimetrical panel
turning it downwards as per Fig.1.
Make a hole taking care of the following di-
mensions:

252mm x 849mm for SL EM903-P 290x900
Make attention to consider at least 60mm of
material Around the hole in order to avoid
any damage during the following product in-
stallation phase;
It is possible to select the more convenient air
outlet according to the position required by
the installation (Fig 6).
The panel containing the electrical compo-
nents can be moved on the opposite side in
order to use the front air outlet (Fig.7).
Once the air outlet reductor has been instal-
led on the selcted outlet, connect the hood to
the power supply and insert the power pack
as indicated in Fig.8.
Fix the power pack by using the six screws
supplied, as per Fig. 9.
Mount the grease lter and to install the pe-
rimetrical panel.

INSTALLATION
SL907
Before carrying out installation, please remo-
ve the grease lter in order to avoid possible
damages to the appliance. Please follow the
following steps to remove the metal grease
lter: open the lighted panel rst, by turning
it downwards ( g.1) , then remove the grease
lter by operating on its handle and making
the lter rotate downwards, disengaging it
from its seat.
Make a hole on the surface of the following
dimensions:
270mm x 498mm for SL907 52cm model
270mmx675mm for SL907 70cm model
Insert the SL907 unit, making sure the push‐
button panel is placed on the right , looking at
the product from the front of the cook‐top.
Make the electric connection and connect
the air‐outlet ange to a suitable exhausting
pipe.
Fix the unit by using the four screws provided
and tighten them as shown in g. 16.
Insert the grease lter again and close the
perimeter panel.

If the client increases or reduces the speed
while the timer is on, this is automatically
stopped.Standard conguration If two coo-
kerhoods-radiocontrol system are installed in
the same room or in the immediate vicinity,
each system may aect the operation of the
other, due to the fact that they have the same
code.
Therefore it will be necessary to change the
code of one of the radio controls.
Warning: The battery should be replaced
every yearto guarantee the optimal range of
the transmitter.
To replace the exhausted battery, take the
plastic lid o, remove the battery and replace
it with a new one, ob-serving the correct bat-
tery polarities.
Used batteries should be discarded in special
collection bins.Generating a new transmission
code The radiocontrol is supplied by the ma-
nufacturer with default codes stored. If you
want to create a new set of codes, proceed
as follows:press and hold the UP, STOP and
DOWN but-tons simultaneously for 2 secon-
ds. Afterthe LEDS light up, press the UP and
DOWN button swithin 5 seconds. The LEDS
will ash 3 times to indicate that the process
is completed.
WARNING: This procedure deletes all pre-
viously stored codes. Learning the new tran-
smission code After changing the transmis-
sion code on the radio control, the cooker
hood electronic control unit must be made to
set the new code as follows : press the main
Power O button on the cookerhood and then
restore power to the electronic control unit.
The power o button can be seen after remo-
ving the grease lter.
Within the next 15 seconds, press the Light
button . This will ensure the control unit
is synchroni-zed with the new code.

MAINTENANCE
Square lamps
To replace the bulbs in the square lights,
press the light frame where it says “PUSH”(Fig.
13 and Fig. 14), then replace the bulb and
press the frame back into place.
Replacement of SL 907 uorescent lamp
To replace the uorescent lamps of SL907
model, you need to open the perimeter pa-
nel, by rotating it as shown in Fig. 1, remove
the panel xing screws (g. 17), paying spe-
cial care in holding it during this step, then
remove the lamps and replace the damaged
one (g. 18).
Insert the panel again.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualied person in order
to avoid a hazard.
An accurate maintenance guarantees good
functioning and long-lasting performance.
Particular care is due to the grease lter pa-
nel.
In SL903-P - SL-EM903 P and SL907 models,
before removing the grease lter, you need
to open the central panel, which is lighted in
SL907 model , by turning it downwards as
shown in Fig. 1.
It can be removed by pushing its special han-
dle toward the backside of the coo-ker hood
and turning the lter downwards so to unfa-
sten it from its slot. To insert the lter just
perform the opposite operation.
After 30 hours working (SL903-P and SL
EM903-P), the push button control panel will
signal the saturation of the grease lter by
lighting all the buttons.
Press the timer button to reset .
The grease lter needs cleaning by regular
hand-washing or in dishwashers every two
months at least or depending on its use.
* In case the appliance is used in its ltering
version, the active coal lter
needs to be periodically replaced. The coal
lter can be removed by removing the grease
lter rst, and by pulling its special plastic
tongue until it is un-fastened from its slot.
Reinsert the coal lter by operating in the
opposite way. The coal lter needs replacing
depending on the use, but however every six
months at least.
To clean the appliance itself tepid water and
neutral detergent are recommended, while
abrasive products should be avoided.
To replace the halogen lamps, remove rst
the glass-blocking ring (Fig.12A), by levering
with a screw-driver and thus removing the
opaque glass (Fig.12B) - when performing
this operation hold the opaque glass careful-
ly. Remove the lamp (Fig.12C) without tou-
ching it with uncovered hands. Replace it with
another lamp of the same kind. After the re-
placement, re-insert the glass-blocking ring
and fasten it.

Schutzklasse II:
Gerätetypen, die in der Schutzklasse II ausge-
führt sind, tragen auf dem Typenschild das
entsprechende Symbol ( ). In diesem Fall
ist das Gerät gemäß der Norm nicht geerdet.
* Vor jeder Reinigungs-oder Wartungsarbeit
muss das Gerät vom Stromnetz getrennt
werden. Falls das Gerät nicht an eine immer
gut zugängliche Steckdose angeschlossen
wird, ist in der Installation eine allpolige
Trennvorrichtung vom Netz, mit einer Kon-
taktönungsweite von mindestens 3 mm pro
Pol, vorzusehen.
* Oenes Feuer bzw. der Gebrauch von
Elektrogrills unter dem Gerät, ist zu ver-
meiden. Beim Frittieren, besonders mit
mehrmals benutztem Öl, besteht Brand-
gefahr. Auch bei Nichtbeachtung der Rei-
nigungsanweisungen besteht die Gefahr
eines Brandes.
ALLGEMEINE
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Kinder, hilose oder behinderte Personen
dürfen das Gerät nur unter Aufsicht von
Erwachsenen betreiben.
* Das Gerät ist so zu montieren, dass der
Abstand zwischen den Kochplatten und
dem unteren Rand der Dunstabzugshaube
mindestens 65 cm beträgt.
* Ein Anschluss der Abluftleitungen an
Verbrennungs-Abgaskamine (z.B. der Zen-
tralheizung usw.) ist nicht zulässig.
* In jedem Fall sind bei der Ableitung der
Abluft die behördlichen Vorschriften zu
beachten.
* Achtung! Bei gleichzeitigem Betrieb einer
Abluft-Dunstabzugshaube und einer raum-
luft-abhängigen Feuerstätte (wie z.B. gas-,
öl-oder kohlebetriebene Heizgeräte, Durch-
lauferhitzer, Warmwasserbereiter) ist Vorsi-
cht geboten, da beim Absaugen der Luft dur-
ch die Dunstabzugshaube dem Auf-stellraum
die Luft entnommen wird, die die Feuerstätte
zur Verbrennung benötigt. Ein gefahrloser
Betrieb ist möglich, wenn bei gleichzeitigem
Betrieb von Haube und raumluft-abhängiger
Feuerstätte im Auf-stellraum der Feuerstät-
te ein Unterdruck von höchstens 0,04 mbar
erreicht wird und damit ein Rücksaugen der
Feuerstättenabgase vermieden wird.
* Dies kann erreicht werden, wenn durch ni-
cht verschließbare Önungen, (z.B. in Türen,
Fenstern, Zuluft-/Abluftmauerkasten oder
andere technische Maßnahmen, wie gegen-
seitige Verriegelung o.ä.), die Verbren-nun-
gsluft nachströmen kann.
Anmerkung: Bei der Beurteilung muss immer
der gesamte Lüftungsverbund der Wohnung
beachtet werden. Bei Betrieb von Koch-ge-
räten, z.B. Kochmulde und Gasherd, wird die-
se Regel nicht angewendet. Im Zweifelsfalle
muss der zuständige Schorn-steinfegermei-
ster zu Rate gezogen werden.
* Beim elektrischen Anschluss müssen die
Spannungswerte des Stromnetzes mit den
Werten des im Inneren des Geräts ange-bra-
chten Typenschildes übereinstimmen.
ALLGEMEINEMONTA-
GEHINWEISE
1. Auspacken des Geräts
* Der Karton ist an der Oberseite zu önen.
Seitlich am Karton sind Pfeile aufgedruckt,
die nach oben weisen müssen.
* Zum Önen des Kartons und der Plastik-
säcke dürfen keine scharfen Gegenstände
(z.B. Messer) verwendet werden.
* Die Packstücke sind vorsichtig aus dem Kar-
ton zu nehmen und auf einer glatten, saube-
ren und weichen Unterlage abzustellen.
* Alle Verpackungsbestandteile sind vorsi-
chtig zu entfernen und bis zum Abschluss
der Montage vollständig aufzubewahren.
Rücksendungen werden nur in der vollstän-
digen Originalverpackung akzeptiert.
2. Prüfung vor der Montage
* Der Kartoninhalt ist auf Richtigkeit, Voll-
ständigkeit, äußere Beschädigungen und
einwandfreie Oberäche zu überprüfen.
* Das Gerät ist auf ordnungsgemäße Funktion
zu überprüfen.
* Festgestellte Mängel sind vor Einbau zu
melden.
* Defekte und beschädigte Geräte dürfen ni-
cht eingebaut und betrieben werden, da sonst
keine kostenfreie Bearbeitung nach unseren
Garantiebedingungen erfolgt.

3. AbluftleitungenEs
Ist für den Anschluss eine runde oder ecki-ge
Abluftleitung mit Durchmesser 150mm er-
forderlich. Eine Reduzierung auf 125mm bei
Geräten bis ca. 650cbm/h ist möglich. Redu-
zierungen und Querschnittsveränderungen
führen zu Leistungsverlusten und erhöhten
Geräuschen. Unsachgemäße Abluftführung
führt zum Erlöschen der Gerätegarantie. Laut
Verordnung einzelner Bundesländer müssen
Dunsthauben-Abluftleitungen, welche durch
einen zweiten Raum oder durch den Dachbo-
den geführt werden, aus nicht brennbarem
Material sein (gemäß DIN 4102 Klasse A1).
4. MontageDie Montage
Ist gemäß der dem Gerät beilie-genden Mon-
tageanleitung durch-zuführen. Hierbei sind
folgende Punkte zu beachten:* Der Minde-
stsicherheitsabstand zwischen Gerät und Ko-
chfeld ist unbedingt einzuhalten (in der Regel
65 cm).* Der Elektroanschluss hat nach den
VDE-Be-stimmungen durch einen konzessio-
nierten Fachbetrieb zu erfolgen.
* Die Abluftleitung ist in dem geforderten
Durchmesser zu erstellen. Bei Dachaustritten
wird der Einbau eines Kondenswasser-sam-
mlers und einer weiteren Rückstauklappe
empfohlen.
* Nischenrückwände sind nur auf ausrei-
chend getrockneten Wänden zu montieren.
* Der Rücksprung zwischen Arbeitsplatten-
kante und Gerätevorderkante darf bei Wand-
hauben maximal 10 cm und bei Inselgeräten
maximal 5 cm betragen.
* Bei Einbau der Kochmulde ist zu beachten,
dass die Mitte zwischen den beiden hinteren
Kochplatten unter der Gerätemitte eingebaut
wird.
GERÄTEAUSFÜHRUNG
Das Gerät wird in einer Ausführung geliefert,
die einen Einsatz sowohl im Umluftbetrieb als
auch im Abluftbetrieb zulässt.
*Im Umluftbetrieb (Abb.1) wird die Luft
zusätzlich durch den einzusetzenden Aktiv-
kohlelter geleitet und durch die seitlichen
Lüftungsschlitze im Kaminoberteil in den
Raum zurückgeführt. In dieses Kaminoberteil
ist in diesem Fall die mitgelieferte Luft-um-
lenkweiche (Abb.12) einzubauen, die durch
einen geeigneten Luftkanal mit dem Luftau-
strittsstutzen des Motors zu verbinden ist.
*Im Abluftbetrieb (Abb.2) wird der Ko-
chdunst durch Abluftrohre direkt ins Freie
geleitet. Der Einsatz eines Kohlelters ist im
Abluftbetrieb nicht erforderlich.
INSTALLATION
UND MONTAGE
Vor der Installation muss uberpruft werden,
dass keine Bauteile beschadigt sind. Ander-
nfalls muss die Installation abgebrochen und
Kontakt mit dem Handler aufgenommen wer-
den. Bevor das Gerat installiert wird lesen Sie
bitte aufmerksam alla nachstehenden Anwei-
sun-gen.
- Verwenden Sie ein Abzugsrohr mit der
kurzestmoglichen Lange- Beschranken Sie die
Anzahl der Kurven.
- Verwenden Sie normgerechtes Material.
- Vermeiden Sie drastische Querschnittsve-
rengungen (es empehlt sich ein konstanter
Durchmesser von 150 mm bzw. gleichwertige
Querschnittsache). Zur Montage der Modelle
S, SE, SE/1 SM und SL ist der Metallfettlter
herauszunehmen. Dazu wird dieser am en-
tsprechenden Gri leicht nach hinten bzw.
oben gedrückt und nach unten bzw. zur Sei-
te gedreht, bis er sich aus der Halterung löst
(Abb.3B-4A).

Wandmontage des GerätsUnter Verwendung
der mitgelieferten Bohr-schablone (Abb.5X),
werden die für die Be-festigung erforder-
lichen Löcher gebohrt, wo-bei darauf zu
achten ist, keine Wasser-oder Strom-leitun-
gen zu beschädigen. Die Löcher müssen ei-
nen Durchmesser von 8 mm haben.
Nun werden die mitgelieferten Dübel (Abb.5A)
in die Bohrlöcher eingefügt und der Haken für
die Aufhängung des Gerätes (Abb.5S) mit den
dafür vorgesehenen Schrauben (Abb.5B) an
der Wand befestigt.
Das Gerät kann nun in die Halterung ein-
gehängt werden (Abb.6S,7). Die Feinein-
stellung der horizontalen und ver-tikalen
Geräteposition erfolgt mittels der sich an
dem Aufhängehaken bendlichen Regu-lier-
schrauben (Abb.9T,V).
Nach erfolgter Feinausrichtung sind die Si-
cherungsschrauben (Abb.5C) anzubringen.
Bei den Modulen werden nun die Sicherun-
gswinkel an den vorgesehenen Bohrpositio-
nen (Abb.6C) an die Wand geschraubt.
Nach Feinausrichtung des Geräts, wie oben
be-schrieben, kann nun das Gerät mit den
Siche-rungswinkeln verschraubt werden
(Abb.6C).
Montage des KaminsVor der Montage des Ka-
mins ist ein elektri-scher Anschluss für das
Gerät im Bereich hin-ter der Kaminverklei-
dung vorzusehen.
Wenn das Gerät im Abluftbetrieb eingesetzt
werden soll, ist zudem für eine geeignete
Abluftlei-tung zu sorgen.Achtung! Vor der
Befestigung des Luftka-nals ist in jedem Fall
zu prüfen, ob sich die Rückstauklappe im
Luftauslass-Stutzen des Motorgehäuses frei
bewegen kann und nicht blockiert ist.
INSTALLIERUNG VON
SL903-P UND SM903
Vor der Installierung, die den Fettlter entfer-
nen um Schaden an den Produkt zu vermeiden.
Die Handgri nach unten ziehen und den Filter
nach unten drehen. Für das Modell SL903-P
vor dem Fettlter das Randabsaugungspanel
entfernen (Abb. 1).
Auschnittmaße:
252mm x 649mm für SL903-P 290x700
252mm x 849mm für SL903-P 290x900
500mm x 375mm für SM903 520x400
680mm x 375mm für SM903 700x400
Achtung: Einen Abstand von minimum 600
mm um den Auschnitt herum behalten, um
Schaden bei der weiteren Installierung zu ver-
meiden.
Die seitlich am Gerät angebrachten Haltefe-
dern durch Drehen der Verstellschrauben auf
die Stärke des ausgeschnittenen Schrankbo-
dens einstellen (Abb. 2).
Der Elektrische Anschluss durchführen.
Nun wird das Gerät in den Ausschnitt im
Schrankboden eingeführt, bis die seitlichen
Haltefedern (Abb. 2) vollständig einrasten
(Abb.3). Zum Schluss wird das Gerät mit-
tels der Sicherungsschrauben seitlich am
Schrankboden verschraubt (Abb.4-5).
Der Fettlter wieder einsetzten.
Für das Modell SL903-P das Randabsaugung-
spanel wieder einsetzten.
