ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
This SKUTCH PRODUCT is warranted against defects for a period
of one (1) year from the date of origina invoice. Within this period,
we wi repair the PRODUCT without charge for parts and abor. To
obtain warranty service the product must be returned, at the customer’s
expense, to SKUTCH E ectronics a ong with a copy of the origina
invoice. After the unit has been repaired, SKUTCH wi ship the
PRODUCT back via UPS GROUND service at our expense. If any
other form of return shipment is requested, the customer wi pay for
100% of the shipping cost.
This Warranty does not app y if in the so e opinion of SKUTCH
E ectronics, the product has been damaged by ightning or any other
Acts of God, or by accident, misuse, neg ect, or improper packing,
shipping, modification or servicing by other than an authorized
SKUTCH Service Center.
EXCEPT AS SPECIFICALLY PROVIDED IN THIS AGREEMENT, THERE
ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING,
BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR
MERCHANTABILITIES OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND
IN NO EVENT SHALL SKUTCH ELECTRONICS BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF
PROFITS OR BENEFITS, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR
OTHER SIMILAR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THIS
WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE.

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Skutch BA-704 Promotion-On-Ho d
Modu e. This unit a ows a phones connected to your phone ines to
provide Promotion-On-Ho d to your customers. The BA-704 can be
insta ed on any te ephone you wish. Once insta ed, a phones can
access the BA-704 unit. To p ace a ca on ho d, simp y press the
STAR Touch Tone button on your te ephone, then press the HOLD
button on the te ephone. The On-Ho d ca can be answered at any
phone. Pick up the ine and press the STAR Touch Tone button to
disab e the music. The BA-704 is simp e to use and is compatib e with
a most every make and mode of te ephone. The BA-1 is no onger
supported by this unit.
Installation
Operation
To place a call on-hold-Simp y press the STAR Touch Tone
button on your te ephone, then press the HOLD button on the
te ephone.
To release the hold condition- Pick up any phone that is
connected to that ine, and press the STAR Touch Tone button on the
te ephone.
Using STAR for other functions (voice mail).
If you need the Star button for other te ephone functions, simp y ho d
down the Star key for 3 fu seconds and the BA-704 wi not activate.
Lights on the A-704
STEADY ON- Indicates that the promotion-on-ho d music is
connected to the te ephone ine.
POWER UP- On initia power up, a four ights wi f ash for
approximate y three seconds.
