Introduction
This RD-20 RFID reader is a wireless device working with RFID tag
that can be used to arm, disarm or home arm the K1/K2 system
outside your home without opening the smanos home app.

Green: System Disarmed
Flashing Light: Low battery, please change the battery.
*If you don’t want LED indication of the system, you can choose to
turn off "Hub Status Light" in the smanos home app.
Tamper Switch
Alarm signal will be sent immediately to the the paired K1/K2 hub
when the tamper switch is triggered on the RFID reader.

Pairing to the K1/K2 Hub
Step 1: Pairing RFID reader to the K1/K2 hub
The Reader needs to be paired to the K1/K2 Hub rst before use. To
pair this Reader to the K1/K2 Hub, please press the "+" button on
the top right and follow the instructions on the accessories page of
the K1/K2 section in smanos home app.
Once the reader is added, you can check its status (the connection
with the K1/K2 hub and battery status) on the accessories page.
Step 2: Pairing RFID tag to the K1/K2 hub
The tags included in this kit or purchased separately also needs to
be paired to the K1/K2 Hub rst before working with the reader.
To pair the RFID tag, please tap the icon [ ] to learn how, then
press the "+" button at the bottom of RFID Reader page and follow
the instructions.
If you have more than one reader, all tags which have been
successfully paired with the hub through any one reader will appear
on all readers' pages. You can choose specic tags to work on
specic readers by ticking the dot beside tags' names.

Using the Reader
Arm
Rotate the reader ring to the right, and then swipe the tag
horizontally on the sensing area of the reader, wait until the reader
beeps. The indicators will turn RED and the system is now armed.
Home Mode
Rotate the reader to the right rst, then to the left, and then swipe
the tag horizontally on the sensing area of the reader, wait until the
reader beeps. The indicators will turn BLUE and the system is now in
Home Mode.
Disarm
Rotate the reader ring to the left, and then swipe the tag
horizontally on the sensing area of the reader, wait until the reader
beeps. The indicators will turn GREEN and the system is now
disarmed.
Notication
Notications will be sent for
operations by the tags if the
function is enabled. Disable the
function on the RFID reader
page in smanos home app.

Installation
Place the reader outside the entry door of your home where it is
easy for you to access on your way out/in.
Rotate the reader and swipe your tag on the sensing area to arm
the system and check the connection with the Hub.

Important: Make sure the UP mark on the Back Cover is pointing
up before mounting on a at surface. Once level, you can install
the reader by using either the double-sided tape or the screws
with mollys included in the package.
Notice: Removing the Back Cover off of this reader will trigger the
alarm; you can disarm the alarm and continue the installation.
Removing RFID Reader from the K1/K2 Hub
In the smanos home app accessories page, slide the reader from
right to left. Then tap on the ashbin icon to remove reader from
hub.
Removing RFID Tag from the K1/K2 Hub
In the smanos home app RFID reader page, slide the tag from right
to left. Then tap on the ashbin icon to remove tag from hub.

At the end of its life, the device has to be separated from the other waste. Consign the
device and all its components together to a center of electronical and electrotechnical
waste recycling center, designated by your local authorities.
