1. Things to Know Before Getting Started
1.1 Your WiFi Internet Connection
- One critical factor affecting the performance of your P70 camera is the
relative position of your home WiFi router and the P70. Set up your P70
in an open area (DO NOT place it on the floor); the closer the camera
is to the router, the stronger the WiFi signal will result in better image
quality & stability and overall satisfaction of the P70 or any IP Camera
for that matter.
- A slow network speed will also affect the performance of your P70
camera. It is recommended that you have an upload speed of at least
2Mbps or higher per camera. You can easily test your network’s upload
and download speeds @ www.speedtest.net or get the speedtest app.
1.2 Network Name and Password
- Have your WiFi network name and password handy. The WiFi network
name is commonly referred to as the SSID. The password or security ID
is normally the next line or two down from the WiFi/SSID network name.
These can be easily found on your WiFi router if they were not changed
when you first install the WiFi router, for example:
- WiFi/SSID Network Name: XXXX
- WiFi/SSID Network Password/Security Key: XXXXX
1.3 Operating System Requirements
- iOS 8.0 and above with iPhone 5 or newer;
- Android 5.0 and above

Motion Detection
①②③④⑤⑥⑦⑧⑨⑩

13
On/Off
When the motion sensor is turned on, you will receive a push
notification whenever motion is detected.
Timing
This is useful if you installed the P70 in a busy room or area. You can
define a timeframe during which you wish to receive motion alerts.
Activity Zone
With your own custom Activity Zones, you can define certain areas of
interest in your camera’s view and get notification when there is motion;
therefore the alerts become more specific and meaningful and other
activities detected by other areas can be blocked without any bother.
You can monitor up to 2 zones per camera, tailor each zone a custom
size and delete.
Notication Settings
This setting enables you to:
1. Change the alert tone of the push notifications.
2. If you want to receive an email notification whenever the motion is
detected, you can turn on the “Email” function and input the receiving
email addresses.

14
13
Network Conguration
Reconfiguration enables you to reconfigure Camera when a network
issue has arisen. And switch between networks enables you to connect
your Camera with another nearby WiFi network, without repeating the
camera-phone pairing process. You can check your current network and
the signal strength as well.
①②③④⑤⑥⑦⑧⑨⑩

15
Time Settings
This setting enables you to synchronize device time to your mobile,
to make sure the time shown on the history and the time on push
notifications are correct.
When motion is detected, you will receive a push notification: (for
example) Activity detected by [P70 camera name] at 08:20:00 GMT+2
Or Activity detected by [P70 camera name] at 07:20:00 GMT+1 DST
during Daylight Saving Time.
①②③④⑤⑥⑦⑧⑨⑩

16
15
Firmware Update
This setting enables you to update your P70 camera to the latest
firmware if necessary. WHEN AN UPDATE IS TAKING PLACE, FORCED
TERMINATION WILL CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE TO YOUR P70 Camera.
It is highly recommended that you keep your camera plugged in at all
times, and DO NOT SWITCH THE DEVICE OFF BEFORE AN UPDATE IS
COMPLETED.
microSD™ Card Setting
Checking your cards storage and wiping your microSD™ card can be

There are two types of sharing way with some key differences: the
Administrator and the User who has been invited to control the devices.
Admin (Full Access)
With Admin (Full Access),the shared user in this group will be able to do
almost everything as the Owner can to the devices your shared, with
few exception, like re-sharing to others.
Important: Because people in Admin group with access to a device can do so
much, you should only invite people you really trust.
