OPERATING THE EQUIPMENT
•The Univator MUST BE positioned on a level surface with the braking system activated prior to loading and
unloading.
•The forks MUST BE at their lowest position before loading.
•The Univator MUST NOT be loaded beyond the Safe working load of 120kg capacity of the equipment.
•The forks MUST BE adjusted to the correct spacing for the item you wish to lift. Take care to ensure detent
pins are located fully before lifting.
•Items MUST BE loaded centrally onto the Univator.
•When moving the Univator the forks must be at the lowest position and care should be taken to ensure
uniformity of load.
•When lifting or lowering the forks care MUST BE taken to stop at the right height and ensure the space
around you is clear before unloading.
•When lifting heavy items, engage the castor brakes to stop the Univator moving.
•The Univator forks are only to be used for objects that are at least 70 millimetres above ground level.
•The main power switch on the Univator must be in the OFF position prior to charging.
