SMARTPACK TABLES
SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS:
1. Use only certified 240V power sources.
2. Ensure area under tabletop is free from clutter and top will not be impeded if fully lowered.
3. Be sure table is free from obstruction and possible pinch points are clear.
4. Be sure that operation of table is done in safe environments and precautions are made for
when in use in wet areas
5. The SmartPack table and multipack power board are earthed 240V systems
6. Overloading can lead to damage to the table and/or risk of injury to the user
7. Human obstruction should be mitigated during use –do not have any body parts under the
table when lowering the table
8. When moving the table be sure that the castor brakes are disengaged and reengaged before
operation once table position is suitable.
9. The assembly of the table is at times a two-person job and should not be attempted alone.
10. LINAK legs use PIEZO safety technology which prevents damage being done to anything that
obstructs the table when being raised or lowered. More detail on this technology can be

11. PIEZO is a hardware based anti-collision solution from LINAK. The solution is based on a
PIEZO sensor that has been completely integrated in the lifting column –without visually
altering the desk design. The built-in PIEZO sensor reacts to any obstruction when raising or
lowering the desk, then halts and reverses to avoid collision.
TABLE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. The SmartPack Table “control switch” is used to raise and lower the table; the up arrow is
for raising the table and the down arrow is for lowering the table.
2. The SmartPack Table “control panel” has an on button (on) (low voltage battery option
only), this must be pressed prior to raising or lowering the table (please note: if the table has
not been raised or lowered within 90 seconds it will automatically turn off to conserve
power –press the on button to resume raising or lowering the table).
3. The low voltage battery kit SmartPack Table can be re-charged at any time via a standard
240volt outlet.
4. The electric cords MUST BE out of the ‘pinch zone” area when raising or lowering the table.
5. The SmartPack Table MUST NOT be lowered if there are large items placed on the shelf
below that could come in contact with the tabletop.
6. The castors brakes MUST BE activated prior to using the table.
7. The SmartPack Table MUST BE in the lowest position and the mains power lead removed
from the wall socket prior to moving from one location to another.
8. The SmartPack Table MUST NOT be used as a lifting and/or loading device ie: forklift. It is
designed as a height adjustable table only.
9. The SmartPack Table MUST NOT be loaded beyond the SWL capacity of the equipment.

10. The attachments on the SmartPack Table are designed for specific items, DO NOT use the
attachments for any other purpose than they were designed for.
11. DO NOT place hands/arms under the tabletop while it is being lowered.
12. DO NOT raise the table under over-hanging ledges/shelves, electrical equipment etc.
13. All maintenance MUST BE carried out by an authorised service technician.
14. All associated Workplace Health and Safety requirements MUST BE adhered to when using
this equipment.
15. For further information please refer to the Instruction Manual supplied with the equipment.
TROUBLE SHOOTING:
ISSUE
SOLUTION
Table will not raise or lower
•Switch off the power supply then switch back
on
•With the table turned on press and hold both
the up and down arrows on the control panel
for 10 seconds. Release the up arrow and hold
the down arrow to lower the table to lowest
position. This will reset the leg and the legs
should now work.
•If the above step doesn’t work then switch off
the power source leave for 30 seconds, turn
back on then try the reset function again.
•If you still have issues, please check that ALL
electrical ports are still connected on the Linak
power pack and legs.

Before start-up:
•Is the area adjacent to the SmartSink free of clutter?
•Ensure SmartSink feet are fixed securely to the floor
Operation:
1. The electric cords MUST BE out of the ‘pinch zone” area when raising or lowering the sink.
2. The SmartSink MUST NOT be lowered if there are large items placed on the shelf below that could
come in contact with the sink top.
3. Sinks may be cleaned with a non-abrasive cleaner (i.e., spray & wipe) and the sink drainage grate
MUST BE cleaned each time after use with a suitable cleaning agent.
4. The SmartSink “control panel” is used to raise and lower the table; the up arrow ( ) is for raising the
table and the down arrow ( ) is for lowering the table.
5. The Switch, Legs and Control panel are electrical and should not be sprayed with water, wipe over
with a damp cloth when cleaning
6. The SmartSink MUST BE in the lowest position and the mains power lead removed from the wall
socket prior to moving from one location to another.
7. The SmartSink MUST NOT be used as a lifting and/or loading device i.e.: forklift. It is designed as a
height adjustable bench only.
8. The SmartSink top MUST NOT be loaded with more than 50kg at one time –exclusive of water
9. Do not attempt to raise or lower the unit when bowls contain water.
10. The attachments on the SmartSink are designed for specific items, DO NOT use the attachments for
any other purpose than they were designed for.
11. DO NOT place hands/arms under the sink top while it is being lowered.
