Before using your Mini SUPERPRETZEL PretzelDogs On-A-
Stick Maker for the rst time, kindly take time to carefully read
the instruction manual. Please observe all safety precautions
and follow operating procedures. After reading, you should
store your instruction manual in a safe place for your future
reference. If you pass this appliance to a third party, please
include the operating instruction manual.

ELECTRICITY PRECAUTIONS
• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord,
plugs, or any other electric parts in water or other liquids.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or
plug.
• Do not use this appliance outdoors.
• After using, unplug cord from electrical outlet.
• Do not leave the appliance plugged in when it is not being
operated.
• Always unplug the appliance from electrical outlet and
allow to cool before cleaning.
• Once this unit is plugged into an electrical outlet it should
not be left unattended.
• A short power cord is provided with this appliance to
reduce the risk of entanglement or tripping. While we do
not recommend it, extension cords may be used if caution
is exercised. If an extension cord is used, ensure that the
marked electrical rating of the extension cord is equal to or
greater than the appliance. If the plug is grounded, the
extension cord must be a grounded type-3 wire cord.
To avoid pulling, tripping or entanglement, position the
extension cord so that it does not hang over the edge of the
counter, table or other areas where it can be pulled on by a
child or tripped over.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
• To avoid injury from touching hot surfaces, always use
hot pads or oven mitts while handling this appliance.
• To protect against re, electric shock or injury, do not
immerse the cord, plug or appliance in water or any other
liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is
used near children.
• Before use, unwind the power cord completely and keep
the cord away from the hot parts of the appliance.
• Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table,
counter or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place the appliance on or near hot gas, electric
burners, or heated ovens.
• Do not operate the appliance if it has a damaged cord
and/or plug, if the appliance has malfunctioned, or has been
damaged in any manner. Contact the Smart Planet Service
Center for examination, repair or replacement. Do not
attempt to repair this appliance yourself.
• The use of accessories and/or attachments is not
recommended and may result in re, electric shock or injury.
• Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet
when not in use and before cleaning to avoid accidental
electrical shock. Allow appliance to cool before cleaning.
• While the appliance is hot, even if unplugged, there is a
danger of getting burned. Do not touch the appliance or
place it into storage while hot.
• Do not use this appliance other than for its intended use.

electrical socket with a good ground connection.
• For interior household use only. Do not use this appliance
outdoors.
• SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this
plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electri-
cian. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
PRECAUTIONS
FOR USE AROUND CHILDREN
• Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is
operated near children.
• Do not allow cord to hang over any edge where a child
can reach it. Arrange cord to avoid pulling, tripping or
entanglement.
CAUTION
To prevent burns or other personal injuries,
read and follow all instructions and warnings.

CLEANING & CARE
• Always clean your appliance after each use to prevent
build up.
• Always disconnect the power plug from the wall outlet
before cleaning.
• Clean the unit only when it has completely cooled down.
• It is easiest to remove crumbs or leftovers with a very soft
brush.
• Be certain to wipe off any baked on oil residue. When
the non-stick cooking surfaces are thoroughly cleaned, the
releasing capabilities of the coating will be retained.
• Before using the appliance, make sure it is at least 4-6”
away from any obstacles.
• There may be a slight smell and a small amount of smoke
the rst time the appliance is operated. This is normal and
temporary. Make sure there is sufcient ventilation.
DO NOT put the Mini SUPERPRETZEL
PretzelDogs On-A-Stick Maker into the dishwasher.
This will permanently damage the product
and will void the warranty.
BEFORE INITIAL USE
• When using for the rst time, remove all packaging
materials and unwind the power cord from the appliance.
• Open the unit by lifting the front handle with an oven mitt.
• Clean the appliance with warm soapy water using a
damp cloth, then dry. DO NOT immerse the unit in water at
anytime.

• Clean the Housing surface with a soft, damp cloth. If left
over mix is difcult to remove, brush surface with a little
oil. Allow to rest for ve minutes, then wipe with a damp
cloth. Do not use abrasives or metal materials for cleaning
purposes because they will scratch the non-stick surface of
the cooking plates.
• CAUTION: To avoid electric shock, DO NOT immerse the
appliance in water or other liquids.
• Do not place the unit in the dishwasher.
HELPFUL HINTS
• There may be a slight smell and some smoke the first
time the appliance is used. This is normal and temporary.
Make sure there is sufficient ventilation.
• Soft Pretzel Dogs that do not set or are not brown are
due to insufficient heat or the cooking time is too short.
Ensure that the Mini SUPERPRETZEL PretzelDogs On-A-
Stick Maker is fully pre-heated and the ready light is on.
Use the correct measurements for the recipe.
• If the Soft Pretzel Dogs are too brown, insufficient
batter is used or the cooking time is too long. Ensure
cooking plate is full or reduce cooking time before
checking.
• Make sure that the plates are cleaned and lightly oiled
before each use to prevent the Soft Pretzel Dogs from
sticking and ensure easy removal.
• Use only wooden, plastic, or rubber utensils. DO NOT
use sharp-edged cooking tools such as knives, forks,
spoons etc. as the scratching will affect the non-stick
performance.

HOW TO OPERATE
1. Before first use, wipe down all surfaces with a dry, non-
abrasive cloth.
2. Find a dry, suitable, level surface near an electrical outlet.
3. The Cooking Plates should be lightly coated with a small
amount of vegetable oil. Vegetable oil can be applied with
a paper towel or with a nonstick oil spray. The oil will help
protect the nonstick quality of the cooking surface. This should
be done periodically to maintain the nonstick quality.
4. Preheat the appliance by closing the lid and plugging into an
electrical outlet.
5. When the power is on, the Red Indicator Light will come on.
The Red indicator Light will stay on while the appliances is
preheating.
6. The appliance should preheat for a minimum of 5 minutes.
The Red Indicator Light will turn off when the appliance is
ready to cook.
7. At this time you may prepare the soft pretzel dough.
8. Roll the dough out onto a floured surface, ensure that it is
thick enough to fill the cavity of the PretzelDog Maker. You may
need to periodically sprinkle the dough with flour or cornmeal
to ensure that the dough does not get too sticky.
9. Cut the dough into 3½ x 1’’ ropes, two for each Soft
Pretzel Dog molds. Apply any ingredient as it is stated within
the recipe section.
10. Carefully place the dough onto each individual Cooking
Plates.
11. Close the Lid and make sure Lid is locked by closing latch.
Plug in the appliance.

12. The cooking time will range between 3-7 minutes.
13. Once the pretzels have completed cooking, unlock and
raise the Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt. Remove the Soft
Pretzel Dogs from the Cooking Plates with a plastic or wooden
kitchen utensil. DO NOT use metal utensils, as they may
scratch and damage the Cooking Plates.
14. When cooking more than one batch of Soft Pretzel Dogs
in a session, once the first batch is completed, lower the lid to
maintain heat until ready to cook the next batch.
15. As soon as you are finished cooking, unplug appliance and
allow to cool.
16. Once the appliance is cool, follow the directions in
the Cleaning and Care section (Page 5) to clean your Mini
SUPERPRETZEL PretzelDogs On-A-Stick Maker.

Recipes
Pretzel Dog Dough
We encourage you to be creative with your Mini SUPERPRETZEL PretzelDogs
On-A-Stick Maker and develop your own delicious recipes. Feel free to start
with some of the recipes below. The Mini SUPERPRETZEL PretzelDogs On-A-
Stick Maker can use a variety of dough. We recommend frozen pre-made white
bread dough. Please see individual recipes for more information.
Store bought frozen or pre-made dough should be thawed out and kneaded
before initial use for best results.
Basic Soft Pretzel Dog Dough Recipe:
2 cups All Purpose Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Sugar
1 Tbsp Instant Yeast (1 pack)
1 cup Warm Water
• In a mixing bowl, add warm water and the yeast. Mix together until the yeast
has dissolved. Next Add the sugar and salt.
• Add our and knead dough until smooth and elastic. Cover the bowl with a towel
and set aside for ½ hour. This will allow the dough to rise.
• After dough has risen, roll out dough and cut into 3½ x 1’’ rectangles
approximately ½ inch thick. (2 dough rectangles per Soft Pretzel Dog mold)

Soft Pretzel DogS
on-A-Stick
Indgredients:
3 Hot dogs (cut in halves)
2 tbsp Baking Soda
2 cups Water
6 Bamboo skewers
• If using store bought frozen dough, please be sure to thoroughly thaw and
knead. Otherwise please complete the dough process found on page 9. Be
sure to read all the directions carefully.
• Lightly brush your SUPERPRETZEL PretzelDogs On-A-Stick Maker with
cooking oil, butter, or margarine.
• Preheat the SUPERPRETZEL PretzelDogs On-A-Stick Maker until the green
indicator light turns on.
• In a bowl, combine the baking soda and the water.
• Take one half of a Hot Dog and two dough rectangles. Place the Hot Dog
between the two pieces pressing down on all sides. Fully wrap the Hot Dog
with the dough.
• Insert a bamboo skewer through each one and set aside on a baking sheet.
Continue this process for each half of the Hot dogs.
• Submerge each Soft Pretzel Dog into the Baking Soda and water mixture.
• Open the appliance and place each Soft Pretzel Dog within each cavity.
• Close the unit and bake for 3-7 minutes.
• Bake until the Soft Pretzel Dogs are lightly brown. For a crunchier
coating leave in longer.

JAlAPeno AnD cheDDAr
Soft Pretzel DogS
on-A-Stick
Indgredients:
3 Jalapenos roughly chopped
3 tbsp Shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp Baking Soda
2 cups Water
6 Bamboo skewers
• If using store bought frozen dough, please be sure to thoroughly thaw and
knead. Otherwise please complete the dough process found on page 9. Be
sure to read all the directions carefully.
• Lightly brush your SUPERPRETZEL PretzelDogs On-A-Stick Maker with
cooking oil, butter, or margarine.
• Preheat the SUPERPRETZEL PretzelDogs On-A-Stick Maker until the green
indicator light turns on.
• In a bowl, combine the baking soda and the water.
• On a baking sheet lay out 6 dough rectangles. On top of each,
sprinkle the cheddar and jalapenos placing them all towards the
center of the dough. Next, apply an additional dough rectangle
on top while pressing down on all sides. DO NOT OVERFILL the dough.
• Gently roll the dough with the ingredients to t the
appliance molds.
• Insert a bamboo skewer through each one and set aside on a
baking sheet.
• Using the skewer as a handle, submerge each one into the
Baking soda and water mixture.
• Open the appliance and place each Soft Pretzel Dog within
each cavity.
• Close the unit and bake for 3-7 minutes.
• Bake until the Soft Pretzel Dogs is lightly brown. For a crunchier
coating leave in longer.

PePPeroni PizzA
Soft Pretzel DogS
on-A-Stick
Indgredients:
2 tbsp Pepperoni roughly chopped
3 tbsp Mozzarella
3 tbsp Tomato sauce
2 tbsp Baking Soda
2 cups Water
6 Bamboo skewers
• If using store bought frozen dough, please be sure to thoroughly thaw and
knead. Otherwise please complete the dough process found on page 9. Be
sure to read all the directions carefully.
• Lightly brush your SUPERPRETZEL PretzelDogs On-A-Stick Maker with
cooking oil, butter, or margarine.
• Preheat the SUPERPRETZEL PretzelDogs On-A-Stick Maker until the green
indicator light turns on.
• In a bowl, combine the baking soda and the water.
• On a baking sheet lay out 6 dough rectangles. On top of each,
sprinkle the mozzarella, tomato sauce and pepperoni placing them all
towards the center of the dough. Next, apply an additional dough
rectangle on top while pressing down on all sides.
DO NOT OVERFILL the dough.
• Gently roll the dough with the ingredients to t the appliance molds.
• Insert a bamboo skewer through each one and set aside on a
baking sheet.

Soft PretzelS DogS
on-A-Stick
Indgredients:
3 tbsp Butter
1 tsp Cinnamon
2 tsp Powder Sugar
2 cups Water
2 tbsp Baking Soda
6 Bamboo skewers
• If using store bought frozen dough, please be sure to thoroughly thaw and
knead. Otherwise please complete the dough process found on page 9. Be
sure to read all the directions carefully.
• Lightly brush your SUPERPRETZEL Soft Pretzel Dog On a Stick Maker
with cooking oil, butter, or margarine.
• Preheat the SUPERPRETZEL PretzelDogs On-A-Stick Maker until the green
indicator light turns on.
• In a bowl, combine the baking soda and the water.
• Using two dough rectangles, combine them together. Continue this
process 5 more times. Gently roll the dough so that each can sit within
the individual molds.
• Insert a bamboo skewer through each one and set aside on a
baking sheet.
• Using the skewer as a handle, submerge each one into the Baking soda
and water mixture.
• Open the appliance and place each Soft Pretzel Dogs within each cavity.
• Close the unit and bake for 3-7 minutes.
• While the Soft Pretzel Dogs are cooking, in a bowl add the butter and
cinnamon. Place the bowl in the microwave for 25 seconds.
• Bake until the Soft Pretzel Dogs is lightly brown. For a crunchier coating leave
in longer.
• When the Soft Pretzel Dogs have nished cooking, remove and place them on
to a baking sheet. While the Soft Pretzel Dogs are still hot, using a pastry
brush, lightly brush the Soft Pretzel Dogs with the butter cinnamon. Lastly,
sprinkle the Soft Pretzel Dogs with the powdered sugar on all sides and enjoy.

Soft Pretzel DogS
on-A-Stick
Indgredients:
3 Hot dogs (cut in halves)
6 Pre cooked bacon strips
2 tbsp Baking Soda
2 cups water
6 Bamboo skewers
• If using store bought frozen dough, please be sure to thoroughly thaw and
knead. Otherwise please complete the dough process found on page 9. Be
sure to read all the directions carefully.
• Lightly brush your SUPERPRETZEL PretzelDogs On-A-Stick Maker with
cooking oil, butter, or margarine.
• Preheat the SUPERPRETZEL PretzelDogs On-A-Stick Maker until the green
indicator light turns on.
• In a bowl, combine the baking soda and the water.
• Take one half of a Hot Dog, bacon strips and two dough rectangles. Wrap
the hotdog with the bacon strip. Next, place the bacon wrapped hot dog
between the two pieces pressing down on all sides. Fully wrap the bacon
wrapped hot dog with the dough.
• Insert a bamboo skewer through each one and set aside on a
baking sheet. Continue this process for each half of the
remaining hot dogs.
• Submerge each Soft Pretzel Dogs into the Baking Soda and
water mixture.
• Open the appliance and place each Soft Pretzel Dogs within each cavity.
• Close the unit and bake for 3-7 minutes.
• Bake until the Soft Pretzel Dogs is lightly brown. For a crunchier coating
leave in longer.

90 DAY LIMITED WARRANTY
Smart Planet warrants this appliance from failures in its
materials and workmanship for 90 days from the date of
original purchase, provided the appliance is operated and
maintained in conformity with the instruction manual. Any
defective part of the appliance will be repaired or replaced
at Smart Planet’s discretion. Customers must provide proof
of purchase when submitting a warranty claim.
This warranty does not cover discoloration or any damage
to the non-stick surfaces of the appliance. This warranty is
null and void, as determined solely by Smart Planet, if the
appliance is damaged through accident, misuse, abuse,
negligence, scratching, shipping or if the appliance is
altered in anyway.
If you think the appliance has failed or requires service
within its warranty period, please email the Service
Department at [email protected] for further
instructions. Please include a description of the defect along
with the date you purchased the product and the original
receipt with the purchase date. A receipt proving the original
purchase date will be required for all warranty claims, hand
written receipts are not accepted. You may be instructed to
return the appliance for inspection and evaluation. Return
shipping costs are not refundable. Smart Planet is not
responsible for returns lost in transit.
