The EZ Connect™ Wireless Bluetooth USB Adapter (SMCBT-
EDR) is another cutting edge wireless technology brought
to you by SMC. The SMC Wireless Bluetooth USB Adapter
allows your USB PC or notebook to work with all Bluetooth
devices.
Simply plug in your SMCBT-EDR Wireless Bluetooth USB
Adapter into the USB port on your laptop or desktop.
Bluetooth technology allows you to communicate with
other Bluetooth devices to wirelessly share files, transfer
data, print, synchronize your PDA information, send and
receive email, browse the web, and use a mobile phone to
access the Internet. The SMC Wireless Bluetooth USB
Adapter supports Class 2 Bluetooth and has a operating
range of up to 300 feet.
Connect with up to seven other Bluetooth devices at the
same time, the SMC Wireless Bluetooth USB Adapter sup-
ports encryption and authentication to ensure secure data
transmission across the network. t does support multitask-
ing for 3 devices connected at the same time. The EZ
Connect™ Wireless Bluetooth USB Adapter includes an EZ
Installation Wizard that enables quick and easy setup.
Simply put the EZ Installation Wizard CD into your CD drive,
and click on the Install Driver/Utility Link. The wizard will
perform the installation automatically. Then plug in your
SMCBT-EDR into the USB slot of your laptop or PC, and you
will be ready to enjoy the freedom of wireless Bluetooth
networking. The new product instantly creates a Personal
Area Network (PAN) connecting your PC or laptop to near-
by Bluetooth-enabled devices. The SMC Wireless Bluetooth
USB Adapter brings you a new level of experience in avail-
