The SMC2832HPNA EZ Card 10Mbps HomePNA 2.0 PC
Card is an ideal networkingsolutionforsmallandhome
office users. By simply using your existing telephone
lines, you can create a network without the inconven-
ience of installing new cables. No hubs, switches, or
special wiring are needed – simply plug one end of
your RJ-11 cable into your PC Card and the other end
into any telephone jack and you can begin networking.
The SMC2832HPNA PC Card is a perfect choice when
configuring a network using home phone line because
it provides high performance, excellent reliability, and
the ultimate in convenience. In addition, this product
meets the HomePNA (Home Phoneline Networking
Alliance) version 1.0 and version 2.0 standard,meaning
it will support 1Mbps and 10Mbps transmission speeds.
With two RJ-11 connectors, the SMC2832HPNA pro-
vides unsurpassed functionality by allowing one RJ-11
port to connect your phoneline cable and the second
RJ-11 port to connect to a POTS (Plain Old Telephone
Service) telephone or to cascade to an additional PC.
With the SMC2832HPNA adapter you can network up
to 25 PCs within your home. Networking has never
been easier. The SMC2832HPNA is designed to plug
into your Windows PC and install with Windows plug-
