The SMC2821USB EZ Connect USB 10M HomePNA 2.0
Networking Adapter is an ideal networking solution for
small and home office users. By simply using your exist-
ing telephone lines, you can create a network without
the inconvenience of installing new cables. No hubs,
switches, or special wiring are needed – simply plug
one end of your RJ-11 cable into your HomePNA to USB
adapter and the other end into any telephone jack and
you can begin networking.
The SMC2821USB adapter is a perfect choice when
configuring a network using home phone line because
it provides high performance, excellent reliability, and
the ultimate convenience. In addition, this product
meets the HomePNA (Home Phoneline Networking
Alliance) version 1.0 and version 2.0 standard,meaning
it will support 1Mbps and 10Mbps transmission speeds.
With two RJ-11 connectors,the SMC2821USB provides
unsurpassedfunctionalitybyallowing oneRJ-11portto
connect your phoneline cable and the second RJ-11
port to connect to a POTS (Plain OldTelephone Service)
telephone or to cascade to an additional PC.
With the SMC2821USB adapter you can network up to
