•Thisappliance isconnectingto220-240Vand 50 Hz.
•You canofferhelpfromtheservice toinstalland switchingontheappliancewithout
anycost.
•Beforemakingtheconnectiontothepowersupply,ensurethatthevoltage onthe
nameplatecorresponds tothevoltageofelectricalsysteminyourhome.
•If thesocketdoesnotmatchtherefrigeratorplug,replacethe plug withasuitable
one(atleast16 A)
•Insert the plugintoasocketwithanefficientgroundconnection.If thesockethas no
groundcontact,wesuggestyoucallanelectricianforassistance.
•Manufacturerisnotresponsibleforfailuretocompletethe
groundconnection asdescribed inthisbooklet.
•Donotplacetheapplianceindirectsunlight.
•Donotuseinopen airand shallnotbeexposedtothe rain.

Weadviseyou nottochange yourfreezerthermostatpositionsexceptabove
mentionedconditions.Yourcoolerthermostatcan besetaccordingtotheambient
temperatureasmentionedabove.
Thevaluesmentionedinthe tablearerecommended thermostatpositions.These
valuescanchangeaccordingtousageconditions.
Freezerandrefrigeratorthermostatautomatically
regulatesthe inside temperatureofthecompartments.
Byrotatingthefreezerthermostatknob fromposition
1to4and refrigeratorthermostatknobfromOFFtoMAX,
coldertemperaturescanbeobtain.Incoldseasons,
youcansetlowerpositions inordertodecrease the
energyconsumption.
Notethat; freezerand refrigeratortemperatures affecteachother. Forexample; when
therefrigeratorthermostatisatmaximum,forobtaininglowertemperatures inrefrigera-
torcompartment,setthefreezerthermostattoahighervalue.When thefreezerthermo-
statisatitsmaximum,forobtaininglowertemperaturesinfreezercompartment,setthe
refrigeratorthermostattoalowervalue.

Notethat; theambienttemperature,temperatureofthefreshlystored foodandhow
often thedoorisopened,affectsthetemperatureinthe refrigeratorand freezercompart-
ment.If required,changethetemperaturesetting.
•Inordertopreventsweating and accumulation ofbacteriainsidetherefrigerator
compartmen,itisrecommended nottosettherefrigeratorthermostattoOFFposi-
tion eventhereisno storage offoodinside.
•Whenyoufirstswitchontheappliance,forstarting asuitablecooling,theappliance
shouldwork24hourscontinuouslyuntilit coolsdowntosufficienttemperature.
•Inthistimedonotopenthedoorsooften and donotplacealotoffoodinsidethe
appliance.
•Iftheunit isswitchedoff orunplugged,you mustallowatleast5minutesbefore
restartingorre-pluggingthe unitinordernottodamagethe compressor.

•Tosetthe refrigeratorcompartmentto2-3graphicbarwillbeenough fornormal conditions.
•Toreducehumidityand consequent increaseof frostneverplaceliquidsinunsealedcontain-
ersintherefrigerator.
•Neverplacewarmfoodintherefrigerator. Warmfood shouldbeallowedtocoolatroomtem-
peratureandshouldbearrangedtoensureadequateaircirculationinthe refrigeratorcom-
partment.
•Arrangethemeatandcleanedfish(wrapped inpackagesor sheetsof plastic) whichyouwill
usein1-2days.
•Youcanput thefruitsandvegetablesintocrisper without packing.
FreezerCompartment
•Tosetthe freezercompartment to2-3graphicbarwill be enoughfornormalconditions.
•The useoffreezeris,storing ofdeep-frozen orfrozenfoods forlongperiodsoftimeand
making icecubes.
•Donotputfresh and warmfoods tothefreezerdoorshelvestobefrozen.Onlyusefor
storageoffrozenfoods.
•Donotput fresh andwarmfood withfrozenfoodsidebysideasitcanthawthefrozenfood.
•Usethe fastfreezing shelf tofreezehomecooking (andthefoods which iswanted tofreeze)
morequicklybecauseofthe freezing room’sgreaterfreezingpower.
•Whilefreezingfreshfoods(i.e.meat, fishand mincemeat)dividetheminpartsyouwillusein
onetime.
•Whilefreezingfreshfoods ; Maximumamountoffreshfood(inkg)thatcanbefrozenin24
hoursisindicatedontheappliancelabel.
•Foroptimumapplianceperformancetoreachmaximumfreezing capacity,turnthe freezer
thermostatknob toposition max 24 hoursbeforeplacingfreshfoodinthefreezer.
•After placingfresh foodinthefreezer,24hourson max position isgenerallysufficient,After 24

• Whenbuyingfrozen foods ensurethatthesehavebeenfrozenatsuitabletemperatures
andthatthe packingisintact.
•Frozenfoodsshouldbetransportedinappopriatecontainerstomaintainthequalityof the food
andshouldbereturned tothefreezingsurfacesoftheunitinthe shortestpossibletime.
•If apackageof frozenfoodshowsthesignofhumidityand abnormal swellingit isprobablethat
ithasbeenpreviouslystored atan unsuitabletemperatureand thatthecontentshave deterio-
rated.
• The storage lifeoffrozenfoods dependsontheroomtemperature,thermostatsetting,
howoften thedoorisopened,the typeoffoodandthelengthof timerequired totransportthe
productfromtheshoptoyourhome. Alwaysfollowtheinstructions printedonthe package
andnever exceed themaximumstoragelifeindicated.

•Donotclean theappliancebypouring water.
•The refrigeratorandfreezercompartmentshouldbe
cleanedperiodicallyusing asolution ofbicarbonateof
soda andlukewarmwater
•Cleanthe accessoriesseparatelywithsoapand water.
Donotcleantheminthe washingmachine.
•Donotuseabrasiveproducts,detergentsorsoaps. After
washing,rinse withcleanwaterand drycarefully.When
thecleaning operations have beencompletedreconnect
theplug oftheunitwithdryhands.
•Youshouldcleanthe condenser withbroomatleast once
ayearinordertoprovideenergysaving andincrease
the productivity.
THEPOWERSUPPLYMUST BE DISCONNECTED.
Defrosting
•Defrosting occursfullyautomaticallyduring
operation;the defrostwateriscollectedby
the evaporating tray and evaporates auto-
matically.
•The evaporating tray shouldbe cleaned pe-
riodicallytopreventthewaterfromcollect-
ingonthebottomoftherefrigeratorinstead
offlowingout.

Theruleswrittenonthe corrugated boxmustbeapplied whiletransporting.

shake.

Ifthereisnoise;
Thecooling gas which circulatesinthe refrigeratorcircuit maymake aslightnoise
(bubbling sound)even when thecompressorisnotrunning.Donotworrythisisquite
normal.Ifthesesoundsaredifferentcheck that;
•Theapplianceiswelllevelled
•Nothingistouching therear.
•The stuffsonthe appliance arevibrating.
Recommendations
•Ifthe applianceisnotusedforlong time(forexampleduringthesummerholidays)
