-WARRANTY -
Smith-Victor warrants to the first owner of the EZ Lantern to be free
from defects in the material and workmanship for a period of one (1)
year from the date of purchase and will repair or replace product
found to be defective under normal use. Warranty does not cover
damages caused by shipment, by product abuse, accident,
modification, disassembly or use beyond intended use specified by
Smith-Victor.
This warranty is the only warranty made to any person by Smith-
Victor and is in lieu of all other expressed or implied warranties. The
remedies set for this warranty shall be the exclusive remedies
available to any person for breach of this warranty. Under no
circumstances shall Smith-Victor be liable to any person for
incidental or consequential damages, whether arising out of breach
of warranty or other contract, negligence, strict liability or other tort
or otherwise.

• Simple push button open and closing of the lantern

Break Down
Be sure lock button is free
from lantern fabric. If the
fabric covers the button, it
will prevent the lantern from
locking in the open position.

What’s in the Box
Brace lantern against the
floor for resistance during
compression. Use two hands
to provide even pressure.
Expand the lantern by pushing
down evenly. Look down into the
lantern interior from the hole in
the top in order to line up the
lock pin.
Feed the lock pin into position
until it clicks in place. The lock
button will pop out as the lantern
locks in the open position.
To collapse the lantern simply push in the
lock button. The lantern will “pop” and
collapse like an umbrella.
