We squeezed the performance of a much larger subwoofer into
a gorgeous cabinet that’s about the size of a 14-inch cube. As a
result, you can showcase the Basis 150 in full view, hide it away
in an AV cabinet, or discreetly place it behind furniture, all while it
fills your room with fast, deep, clean bass to 30 Hz — low enough
to reproduce the deepest orchestral notes. This sub’s special
features include a custom built, long excursion, 10-inch woofer,
a powerful 150 Watt amplifier and a few tricks from our chief
engineer, Dr. Joe D’Appolito Ph.D.
The elegant Basis 150 is hand crafted in Massachusetts from real
wood and solid aluminum. Ideal for Music and Movie Systems.
Voiced for all Snell speakers. We tuned the Basis 150 to match
the precision and balance of all Snell Series 7 models. Perfect for
most listening rooms. The Basis 150 can produce a remarkable
107dB of continuous output in a 3,000 cubic-foot room. Bass
extension suitable for all movie soundtracks and music
recordings. Bass extension to 30Hz (-3dB). Designed by Snell’s
