Safety Precautions: Before use, please read thoroughly to ensure safety and avoid accidents.
WARNING / Misuse could result in serious injury or death.
●Before using the product, check each part for abnormalities. If there are abnormalities, take the
product to the dealer or Snow Peak Customer Service for inspection or repair.
●Do not use for purposes other than boiling water and pouring heated water.
●Be sure not to heat the product while empty. Doing so can cause a fire or burns, or damage the
product.
●Use and store in a place out of reach of children. Failure to do so may result in serious burns.
●The product will remain very hot during use and for a period after use, so there is a risk of burns.
Do not touch the kettle with bare hands. Use a potholder such as Fire Side Gloves.
Maintenance
❶Remove the kettle from the storage case and attach the
handle. Thread the handle fastener into the hole on the kettle
rear side, and turn the fastener in the clockwise direction until
it stops turning. Lightly tighten fastener to prevent loosening
and shakiness during use.
NOTE: Thread the handle fastener straight into the hole to
prevent damage to the threads and dislodging from the hole.
❷Remove the lid and pour water into the kettle. The specified
volume for this kettle is 1qt. Exceeding this amount will cause
water to easily boil over.
NOTE: The midpoint between the second and third hole from
the bottom acts as a guide for filling to 1qt.
CAUTION / Misuse could result in injury to the user and/or damage to property.
●An oily film from the manufacturing process may remain on kettle prior to use. Wash kettle with
mild cleanser and sponge before use.
●Do not use the kettle while completely full of liquid. Liquid may boil over when reaching the
boiling point.
●Adjust the heat source so that the flames do not become broader than the bottom of the kettle.
Flames may heat the handle of the kettle and cause burns.
●Do not heat while the lid is hooked to the rim of the kettle. Doing so could deform the lid and
scorch the knob.
●When pouring boiled liquid, there may be times when hot liquid jumps from spout. Exercise
caution when pouring.
●When using on a wood or charcoal fire, adjust the heating so that heat from coals and flames are
slightly distanced. Excessive heating will cause burning of the product. Do not place firewood or
charcoal on the lid. Doing so can damage the product.
●Avoid strong shocks to the product, such as applying a rapid change in temperature by sprinkling
cold water on the hot kettle. Doing so could cause burns or deform the kettle.
●Use with caution to prevent falling and overturning.
●Do not remove the handle fastener from the handle. This may lead to loss of the fastener.
●The kettle has a structure that will be difficult to heat with an induction heating stove or heater.
Using induction heating may greatly increase the heating time.
●This product has small parts and some sharp edges. Keep out of reach of small children.
●Store the handle by placing in the inside pocket of the storage case or within a bag that is placed
in the kettle. If the handle is placed directly into the kettle, it could lead to rusting of the parts or
deformation.
Snow Peak has taken all possible measures to ensure every product is durable and functions correctly. If
you find any product defects, please contact the retailer where you purchased the product or Snow Peak
Customer Service. If there are apparent defects in the product's manufacturing, the defective product will
be repaired or exchanged free of charge. In other cases, Snow Peak will repair the product for an appropri-
ate fee. The decision to repair or replace the product will be at our discretion. Snow Peak will not repair
the product for any damage that occurred due to the following: 1.Material deterioration caused by age /
2.Damage caused by modifications or rough handling / 3.Damage caused by inappropriate use not
mentioned in the instruction manual / 4.Damage caused by unexpected accidents / 5. Any damage other
than defects in the manufacturing process / 6.Damage caused by dust or rust / 7.Damage and defects
caused by dismantling the product / 8.Damage and defects caused by dropping, jolting or other shocks /
9. Deterioration or failure of parts due to friction / 10. Damage caused by the use of the product in
combination with another manufacturer's products

●If professional repairs are required, please contact the retailer where you purchased the product or Snow
Peak Customer Service. ●When you request repairs, please make sure that the product is dry and clean.
●Please attach a memo or a tag indicating the necessary repair and please write details of how and when
the damage occurred. ●Transportation and repair costs are determined as follows. 1. Within warranty: The
transportation cost (both ways) and repair cost will be covered by Snow Peak. / 2. Outside warranty: The
transportation cost (both ways) and repair cost will be covered by the customer.

Instructions for Use
❶After use, check that the kettle has sufficiently cooled. If water
remains in the kettle, discard it.
NOTE: Dry the kettle by wiping away any moisture on it.
❷Turn the handle fastener in the counterclockwise direction
and then remove the handle.
NOTE: Do not remove the handle fastener from the handle.
❸Put the kettle into the storage case. Put the removed handle
into the inside pocket of the storage case.
❶Put the kettle handle and the dripper leg parts
into the dripper storage case, as shown in the
drawing.
The Field Barista Grinder and Field Barista Dripper, sold separately, can be stored with the kettle.
See the steps below for the storage method.

Storage Method
❷Put the grinder in it's storage case and the
handle and leg parts of dripper in the storage
case of the dripper and them place both cases in
the kettle.
❸The cup parts of the Field Barista Dripper are
stacked and inserted into the inside pocket of the
kettle storage case, as shown in the drawing.
❸Place on burner or other heat source and begin heating.
❹Quickly turn off heating when water starts to boil. Do not leave
on the heat source while water is boiling. To cool the hot
water quickly, The hot water can be cooled more quickly than
usual by removing the lid. Use the built-in hook to hang the
removed lid on the rim of the kettle.
NOTE: Do not pour hot water while the lid is
hanging from the kettle rim.
❺Pour the hot water after confirming that the steam release
holes are facing the spout. The kettle and handle will remain
hot during use and for a period after use; take caution to
avoid a risk of being burned. Use a potholder such as Fire
Side Gloves to hold the kettle.
Storage Case
●When using the kettle on a stove or kerosine stove, be sure to read the owner’s manual for the
stove. Exercise caution during use.
DANGER / Misuse could easily result in a serious accident or death.
● Before using a product that has been in storage for a long time, check each part for abnormalities.
If there are abnormalities, take the product to the retailer or contact Snow Peak Customer Service
for inspection or repair.
●Do not use metal brushes or powdered cleaners when washing the kettle. Doing so can scratch the
surface.
●After use, wash and then wipe off moisture. Allow to dry in a shady location with good ventilation.
●Store by placing in the storage case and keeping in a dry location.
●When drying, make sure a heavy load is not placed on the hook of the lid. If the hook becomes
deformed by a load, it can prevent the hook from catching on the kettle rim and result in the lid falling
off unexpectedly.
●Do not use this product in a dishwasher. The product or parts may be damaged, or parts may fall out
or be lost.
