1. Important instructions / safety

The Wingstand is designed for ground handling of a glider airplanes as an aid to glider
maneuvering.
All information is presented for reference only.

the wingstand!

2. Packing list
The Wingstand package contains the following parts:
3 x anodized aluminium legs,
Galvanized steel tripod,
Extendable anodized aluminium stem,
Foam upholstered wingrest,
Set of five M8 screws with hexagon socket, five washers and five nuts.

3. Basics
The Wingstand is a light and compact wing supporter that is used for assembly and
disassembly of a gliders. It is made out of an anodized aluminium to ensure a
lightweight and sturdy construction. It is a 6 piece assembly that is easy to assemble
and disassemble. It is extendable, foldable and features a thick foam padding on the
wingrest. To keep a construction even more sturdy a wingstand is also built from a
galvanized steel tripod.

5. Assembly / disassembly
Assembly of the Wingstand
1) Screw-in the steel tripod to the extendable stem. Use 2 crews, 2 washers
(24 mm) and 2 nuts.
2) Screw-in all three legs to the steel tripod. Use 3 screws, 3 washers (24 mm)
and 3 nuts.

3) Attach the wingrest to the extendable stem by pressing to the black plastic
button on the top of the stem and insert it into the dedicated socket on the
wingrest. Wingrest should be vertically when stored and horizontally when
used.
Depend on packing size wingstand comes fully disassembled or half
assembled.
6. Use / handling

Step 1: Spread all three aluminium legs until they touch the steel tripod.
Step 2: Change the position of the wingrest from vertically (when stored) to the
horizontally (when used).

Step 3: Extend aluminium stem and set the appropriate height of the wingrest which
varies from glider to glider. To lock the aluminium stem at the right height tighten the
screw on the side of the stem with your hands.
Step 4: Set the wingstand on the ground to the appropriate distance from the cabin
(depend on the wing length) and it is ready to use.
To avoid any damage to the wing during ground handling of a glider
airplane please make sure to fully spread all three aluminum legs. The
surface should be smooth and all three legs must be touching the ground
at the same time. When the wing is placed to the wingstand make sure
to place it over the whole foam area to secure it from falling. It is only
intended for use when one side of the wing is already placed in the
glider’s body. Last but not least make sure to tighten the screw on the
stem to prevent wingstand from folding.
Use of the wingstand is at your own risk!

7. Warranty
This SoaringXX product is warranted to be free from defects in materials or
workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Within this period, SoaringXX
will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any components that fail during normal use.
Such repairs or replacements will be made at no charge to the customer for parts and
labour, provided that the customer is responsible for any transportation cost. This
warranty does not cover failures due to abuse, misuse, unauthorised alterations or
repairs and accidents.
THE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES CONTAINED HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE AND
IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED OR
STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY LIABILITY ARISING UNDER ANY WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, STATUTORY
OR OTHERWISE. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS,
WHICH MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. IN NO EVENT SHALL SOARINGXX
BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES, WHETHER RESULTING FROM USE, MISUSE, OR INABILITY TO USE
THIS PRODUCT OR FROM DEFECTS IN THE PRODUCT.
Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so
the above limitations may not apply to you. SoaringXX retains the exclusive right to
repair or replace the unit or software, or to offer a full refund of the purchase price, at
its sole discretion. SUCH REMEDY SHALL BE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE
REMEDY FOR ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY.
