● Warning: LPG is highly ammable.
● The tank contains pressurised gas, and may
explode if heated.
● Keep the tank away from ames.
● Store go-karts in a ventilated location.
● Keep the tank out of the reach of children.
● LPG is heavier than air and if it leaks out, it spreads
at oor level in the absence of ventilation.
● Warning: risk of gas intoxication. Anaesthetic or
asphyxiating effect.
● Use only LPG to ll the tank. Any other gas could
cause a serious accident.
● In the event of a gas leak, thoroughly ventilate the
room concerned.
● Take any victims out into the fresh air.
● Close the valve on the tank or storage cylinder.
● Eliminate any possible ignition sources (ame, heat,
electricity).
● Wash for 15 minutes with plenty of water.
● Transport the patient to a treatment centre.
● Use powder, CO2, or water spray.
● Do not use a jet of water.
● Final extinguishing must be performed using the
shutoff valve.
● The tank complies with Directives 2010/35/EU
(TPED), 2008/68/EC (Appendix 1), 2010/61/EU
(Appendix 1) and ADR 2011. It was checked in
accordance with ADR/R67.
● The steam relief valve is UL-certied. (Refer to
document ITPV.AU1502).
This user guide is updated by SODIKART to
allow, without delay, to know the last safety
and maintenance improvements.
Refer to our website regularly, to download
the last version of user guide.

● Check that the maintenance and operating manual
for the engine has been supplied. If not, contact
SODIKART at the address below.
● For gas go-karts, use LPG (liquid petroleum gas)
only.

● Open the valve (6) on the tank (1).
● Press the 'primer' (5) for two seconds.
● Start up the go-kart as you would start a petrol one.
●●Ensure●that●the●tank●contains●enough●gas.
●●Ensure●that●there●are●no●leaks●in●the●
system●(see●Chap.●1).

● Fill directly on the go-kart, or separately if your
go-kart is equipped with the tank quick-t coupling
system (8).
● Close the main valve (6) before lling the tank (1).
● Ensure that the lling system matches the tting on
the tank (9).
● Connect the gun to the lling unit (9) and ll the
tank.
● Filling will stop automatically when the tank is 80%
full (watch the gauge (7)).

● If your LPG tank is equipped with a quick-t system
(8), it can be removed from the go-kart for lling.
● Before carrying out any procedure, close the LPG
tank main valve (6).
● Slide the ring (13) of the quick-t system, and
remove the hose (11).
● Unlock the tank by pushing the lever (4).
● The tank can now be removed from the go-kart
using the handle (10).

● Ensure that the main valve is closed (6).
● Place the tank in its initial position and press down
rmly using the handle (10).
● Make sure the lever (4) returns to its locked position.
● Connect the hose (11) to the quick-t coupling (8).
● Open the valve (6) by turning towards the left.
● Use an aerosol leak detector for this check.
● Refer to the leak detector instructions to perform this
check.
●●A●leak●check●must●be●carried●out●after●
any●servicing●of●the●LPG●system●or●after●a●
violent●shock.
●●A●periodic●check●is●also●necessary,●at●least●
once●a●week.

On delivery, the carburettor screws must be adjusted as
follows:
● Screw A: Tighten fully and then loosen 3 turns.
● Screw B: Tighten fully and then loosen 5 turns.
● Screw C: Tighten fully and then loosen 0 turns.

● Open the valve (6) on the tank (1).
● Press the 'primer' (5) for two seconds.

● Start the engine and maintain its speed using the
manual throttle control (17).

● Loosen screw C (16) until the engine is running at
maximum speed.
● Release the manual throttle control as soon as
possible.
● Continue to loosen screw C until an acceptable
idling speed of 1600 rpm is obtained.
