USE
The use of the two-way (2x subwoofers + 1x tweeter), bass-reex active sound box is
primarily recommended for hobby and party entertainment purposes. Its built-in battery
allows you to operate it without mains voltage. Wireless BT connection and a 3,5 mm
socket (AUX IN) and two 6,3 mm diameter microphones and a guitar input allow you
to directly connect external devices such as: mobile phone, computer, CD/DVD player,
instrument, microphone… The device includes an FM / BT / USB / microSD / MP3 /
WMA multimedia player. Its accessories are a remote a control and a powerline charger.
POWER SUPPLY, CHARGING THE BATTERY
The sound box can be operated from the built-in battery. The battery must be charged
before the rst use. Connect the supplied power cable to the sound box (DC IN), then
connect it to the network and leave the sound box switched off. During charging the red
LED is lighting on the display. Towards the end of charging, it turns orange and when
the auto charge in complete, the LED will turn green. Then remove the adapter and use
the device. Charging time is approximately 3 hours. This provides approx. 13 hours of
internal battery operation, at medium volume. It also depends on the volume set, the
mode selected and the ambient temperature. The test was conducted by listening to
the radio at room temperature. It can be charged while in use, but this increases the
charging time and cause additional noise.
• After charging and/or ending use, unplug the adapter from the mains and the device. Keep it
connected after full charging only if the device is in continuous operation. Charging can cause
noise in the loudspeakers. This device is intended for use supplied with power from its battery, and
it is recommended to recharge it after use.
• When the device is off, the automatic battery charger is functioning. Therefore, remove the
charger after charging is complete.
• Charge status indicator: when it is switched on, a triple battery symbol on the right side of the
display indicates that the battery is fully charged. Towards the end of the operating time, this
symbol changes and then it starts blinking.
• Keep the battery fully charged when it is not in use.
• The used battery is Li-ion type. It does not require maintenance. At the end of its lifetime, it can
be replaced by a specialist after removing the control panel. The cover is xed with screws.
INSTALLATION
All connections should be done when the system is powered off. The sound box and
the device to be connected are also should be in switched-off state. Make sure that the
wiring and polarity of the connectors are correct. Keep the microphone cable and the
audio cable away from away from the power cable.
Set the volume (VOLUME) to low position, than switch it on by pressing the POWER
button. After the HI welcome, it changes to wireless BT connection operation mode. If
your do not switch it off with the POWER ON/OFF switch, but with the remote control,
then after switching it back on the last listened-to function and volume come back.
Complete power off is achieved by pressing the POWER ON/OFF button instead of the
remote control.
• If the light effect is active, it will continue to operate even after the remote control is turned off. If
necessary, turn it off using the LED switch on the control panel.
VOLUME CONTROL AND CHARGING FUNCTION
Volume control can be done with the VOLUME rotary knob or with the remote control’s
VOL+/VOL- buttons. If you’ve previously paired an external BT device with it – and it
is nearby – then the connection will be done automatically. The function you want to
operate can be selected by pressing the MODE/VC button (or the MODE button on the
remote control): BLUE–FM–USB–microSD–LINE–BLUE…
The available multimedia functions: wireless BT connection, FM radio, USB/microSD
MP3/WMA player, LINE: using external microphone, musical instrument (option), con-
necting external devices (AUX IN). When using different signal sources, the available
services may differ.
• When the volume control on the control panel is in the minimum position, the volume cannot be
increased with the remote control. Note that these two options affect each other.
THE MAXIMAL VOLUME
Every speaker must be eased into working before proper usage. In the rst 30-50
operation hours it should only run at 50% capacity.
At higher volume levels – in some cases – there may be distorted, low-quality sound.
This can be caused by the too large input signal. To avoid this, reduce the signal level
of the particular external equipment or if necessary the main volume (VOLUME). The
system’s maximum volume is that which can still hear without distortions.
• By further increasing the volume, there is no increase in output power, or even the distortion of
the system increases. This is harmful to the loudspeaker and may cause malfunction.
• If you are connecting a microphone, place it as far away from the audio box as possible to
eliminate the noise. Do not point the sound box towards the microphone, because the noise
damages the loudspeakers. When using a microphone, gently increase the volume and, if you
experience noise, immediately turn the control back and replace the sound box into another
position if necessary.
There are more options for customizing the tone on the control panel and on the remote
control. Note that different signal sources often require different settings, otherwise the
sound quality may deteriorate. The settings can be applied jointly. Sound effect options:
low and high tone control on the control panel, sound eld settings with the remote
control’s EQ button: COUNTRY / NORMAL / POP / ROCK / JAZZ / CLASSIC
WIRELESS BT CONNECTION
The device can be paired to other devices with BT protocol within a range of up to 10
meters. After that, you can listen to music played on mobile phone, tablet, notebook and
other similar devices hands-free. Select by pressing the MODE/VC button briey the
BT function, the display shows BLUE text. Place the device to be paired nearby and
search for the devices nearby which has wireless BT connection, including this speaker
in the way it is written in the instruction manual of the device to be paired. Connect the
two devices together. After successful connection the BLUE text which was ashing
until then will be be continuously displayed on the screen. The desired program is then
can be heard on the loudspeaker. Usually the player application of the playback device
(e.g. on a mobile phone) can be remotely controlled by briey pressing the / /
buttons.
• A speaker can be paired with one BT device at the same time.
• After switching on, it will automatically re-connect to the previously paired and properly connec-
ted device if it is switched on nearby.
• If wireless connection is interrupted, if necessary, keep pressing the MODE/VC button, until it is
back to BT function, and pairing mode activates again.
• When a phone call is received on the connected mobile phone while listening to music, music
playback pauses. After the conversation, start the continuation of playing on the phone.
• The actual range depends on the other device and the ambient conditions. (e.g. walls, human
bodies, other electrical devices, movement ...)
• Abnormal operation, noise can be caused by the electrical appliances nearby, this does not
indicate a malfunction of the device.
• Abnormal operation may be caused by the specic features of the external device, which does
not indicate a malfunction of the device. Occasionally, the BT function may operate limited due to
the specic features of the external device.
• If you listen to it also during charging, occasionally network noise may occur in the speakers.
This device is intended for use supplied with power from its battery, and it is recommended to
recharge it after use.
MP3/WMA PLAYBACK from USB/microSD mass storage
The player is ready for use, if the devices is switched on. Insert carefully the USB or
microSD storage and the device automatically switches to MP3/WMA playback mode,
then playback starts. On the display, the USB or SD sign can be read and the remained
time from the actual track, and the number of the track when scrolling. To start the play-
back, press the button, but it starts automatically after inserting an external device.
You can pause playback with the same button (PAUSE) or with the scroll buttons
you can select the desired track. By holding the latter ones pressed, you can control the
volume of the multimedia units. Some extra features can only be activated when you’re
operating the MP3/WMA player. With the remote control’s REPEAT button, you can
select the repetition of the actual song (ONE) or all (ALL) of the songs.
• When switching it on, the restart of the last played track can be started.
• The recommended le system for memory is: FAT32. Do not use NTFS formatted memory unit.
• If the unit does not emit sound or it does not recognize the USB/SD memory, remove and then
reconnect the memory and select it again with the MODE button. If necessary, switch it off and
back again.
• Only remove the external memory after you have changed to a different source with the MODE
button or you have switched off the player. Otherwise, the data may be corrupted. Do not remove
the connected external unit during playback.
• The USB/microSD device can only be inserted in one way. If it stops, turn it over and try again;
do not force it. Do not touch the contacts.
• Be careful not to damage the devices stick out of the appliance.
• Abnormal operation may be caused by the unique features of the mass storage device, which
does not indicate a malfunction of the device.
• Do not charge a device (e.g. mobile phone) from the USB socket.
MP3 RECORDING to USB/microSD STORAGE
If you would like to take a recording to your USB/microSD device, insert a memory
unit and press the REC button for two seconds – until the REC sign appears on the
screen for a short period of time, and the display starts to count the remained time from
the track, meanwhile the USB sign is ashing. By pressing the REC button again, it
stops the recording and immediately starts its playback. Meanwhile, the USB sign is
continuously lighting and the arrow indicating playback is visible. Pressing the REC
button shortly always indicates the playback of a previous recording, if it happens during
playback, then it interrupts playback and starts the playback of the actual recording. You
can quit from this mode by pressing the REC or MODE/CV button shortly.
Recordings made in this mode can only be listened to in REC-PLAY mode (after a short
press of REC), regardless of the other playable tracks selected with the MODE/VC

button in USB mode.
The following signal sources are possible to record: FM radio, BT connection, external
microphone, AUX IN input. This latter’s 3,5 mm connector socket allows to archive the
old recordings in MP3 format (pl. audio cassette, vinyl record, CD disc, DVD disc, video
cassette’s soundtracks).
• An AB_REC folder is automatically created on the storage device and contains MP3 les. The
recording between the two presses of the REC button (the rst long and the second short) is
always saved in a separate le.
• The volume and the quality of the recordings may depend on the different signal sources and the
audio settings. You may need to adjust the volume of the playback device properly.
