SonicWall®Capture Security Appliance
SSD Drive Installation and Replacement
This document provides instructions for removing and installing a
replacement SSD drive in your SonicWall Capture Security Appliance
(CSa).
A replacement SSD drive can be inserted into any of the drive slots on
your CSa.

Removing the Defective Drive from the Appliance
To remove a defective drive from the SonicWall Capture Security
Appliance:
1 There is no need to power down the appliance.
2 Press the square button with the orange circle on the left side of
the defective drive to pop-out the drive handle.
3 Grasp the drive handle and pull the drive straight out to remove it
from the slot.
Installing a New SSD Drive into the Appliance
To install the new SSD drive in the CSa appliance:
1 Remove the new drive from the shipping package.
2 Pop open the drive handle on the new drive by pressing the square
button with the orange circle on the side of the drive.
3 Insert the new drive into the empty slot, label side up with the
handle sticking out.
4 Press the drive firmly into place to seat the connectors, and then
close the handle.

Pour retirer un SSD défectueux du SonicWall Capture Security
Appliance :
1 Il n’est pas nécessaire de débrancher l’appareil.
2 Appuyez sur le bouton carré avec un cercle orange situé au coin
supérieur gauche du SSD défectueux pour faire sortir la poignée du
disque.
3 Saisissez la poignée du disque et tirez ce dernier droit vers toi pour
le retirer de son logement.
Installation d'un nouveau SSD dans l'appareil
Pour installer un nouveau SSD dans l'appareil CSa :
1 Retirez le nouveau SSD de son emballage.
2 Appuyez sur le bouton carré avec un cercle orange situé à côté du
disque pour faire sortir la poignée du nouveau disque.
3 Insérez le nouveau disque dans le logement vide, avec l'étiquette
vers le haut et la poignée en saillie hors de l'appareil.
4 Poussez le disque fermement pour que les connecteurs se mettent
en place, puis fermez la poignée.

Dieses Dokument enthält Anweisungen zum Entfernen und Installieren
eines Austausch SSD Laufwerks in Ihrer SonicWall Capture Security
Appliance (CSa).
Sie können eine Ersatz-SSD in einen der SSD-Steckplätze an der Vorder-

Entfernen der Defekten SSD aus dem Gerät

Installation einer Neuen SSD in das Gerät
Um eine neue SSD zu installieren, führen Sie die folgenden Schritte
aus:
1 Nehmen Sie die neue SSD aus dem Versandpaket.
2 Lösen Sie den Herausnahmehebel des neuen SSD-Laufwerks durch
Drücken der Quadrat-Taste mit dem orangen Kreis auf der linken
Seite des Laufwerks.
WARNING: Do NOT insert anything except the CSareplacement
SSD drive into the appliance slot.

3 Stecken Sie das Laufwerk mit der bedruckten Seite nach oben und

面。
4將硬碟按下讓硬碟與連接器連接，並闔上硬碟把手。

drive with a SonicWall appliance that is not approved will void the warranty for that
