Sony’s MEX-BT5100 Bluetooth® CD receiver delivers cutting-edge
communication capabilities for your car. Enjoy hands-free calling and
audio streaming capability with support for Bluetooth® wireless-enabled
mobile phones and audio devices(1). For added versatility, the MEX-BT5100
is HD Radio(3) and Satellite Radio(2) ready, supports MP3/WMA/AAC le
playback(5), and also includes an iPod input(4).
Bluetooth® hands-free speakerphone
Take advantage of built-in Bluetooth® hands-free support to place and answer calls directly form
the front panel.
Built-in microphone
Complete with a built-in microphone and complementary Echo as well as Noise cancellation
circuitry, the MEX-BT5100 comes ready to go out of the box.
Bluetooth® stereo
The MEX-BT5100 supports audio playback from Bluetooth® enabled audio devices as a source
input (sort of like another AUX input, only wireless!).
Phone book transfer support
Upload the phone book from a Bluetooth® enabled mobile phone using the Bluetooth
connection in the Object Push Prole (OPP) mode so dialing from the MEX-BT5100 front panel is as
easy as navigating the phone book.
Audio performance
Complete with a robust list of audio features including: 52Wx4 high power, F/R/Sub preouts with
adjustable LPF, BBE-MP, DSO, EQ3 Parametric™, and more. This head unit is geared up for audio
performance.
