For Tape Playback
Use the supplied monitor cable to connect the A/V IN terminal (12-pin) on the MGV-41E
LCD colour monitor and the A/V OUT terminal (12-pin) on the GV-U5E 8mm video
cassette recorder. Before connecting, check that the power of the GV-USE is turned off.

The power of the MGV-41E is supplied from the GV-USE. Install the power source in
the GV-USE. (For details, refer to the operating instructions of the GV-U5E.}

Playing Back the Tapes
There are buttons with the same function on both the MGV-41E LCD colour monitor
and the GV-USE 8mm video cassette recorder. You can use either of the two.

Notes
© Horizontal bands will appear in the still, picture search and FR picture search modes.
No sound is heard.
A still picture recorded in the SP mode will have more noise than in the LP mode.

To Display the Data of the TGV-1E/1B Tuner Timer Unit
To display the following information of the TGV-1E/iB tuner timer unit on the screen,
press the DISPLAY button of the TGV-1E/1B. To delete the indications, press the button
again.
