1.2 Ethernet connection
Use the LAN port to connect the TV to your network.
1.3 How to do a “Factory Reset”
Note: If the TV has not been set up before, the TV will power on in the” Install menu”,
shown below. The factory reset can then be skipped.
Alternative 1:
•From home menu open settings in the top right corner of the screen.
•Storage & reset – Factory reset data
oErase everything
oTV will now reboot
•Do a normal installation of the screen
Alternative 2:
•Unplug the TV AC power cord from the electrical socket.
•Simultaneously press and hold down the Power and volume Down buttons on
the TV (not on the remote), and then (while holding the buttons down) plug
the AC power cord back in. Continue to hold the buttons down until the green
LED light appears.
•It will take approximately 10-30 seconds for the LED light to turn green.
•Release the buttons after the green LED light appears.

•After some time, the TV will reboot two times and the Welcome setup screen
will appear.
If the white LED light doesn't turn green within 30 seconds, start over again.
1.4 Initial Installation
1.4.1 Screen settings
•Power On TV
•Welcome: Select language
•Setup your TV with an Android phone or tablet: Skip
•Make the most of your TV (sign into Google account): Skip
•Terms of service: Accept
•Location: No
•Help improve Android performance: No
•Choose a name for your device: The one that describes the model number of the
display (i.e: FW-43BZ35F)
•Bravia Privacy Policy: scroll down to the bottom with the down arrow on remote
and select: Agree
•Specify how your TV is positioned: Table-Top stand or Wall mount, select what
applies to your TV
•Change current date and time: Change if date and time is incorrect, or else
choose Skip
•Setup Completed: Complete
•Welcome to Android TV: following is a slideshow guide. To continue press the
right arrow on your remote until you can select DONE
•Follow the General Settings described in 2.4.2
1.4.2 General Settings
To start we need to activate Pro settings
•From main TV menu: select Pro mode tool – Pro settings mode: OK
•Wait for TV to reboot
•TV should now display a blue bar in the top of the screen with the text “Pro
settings in process”
Now open settings located in the top right corner of the screen.
•To turn off sound feedback:
oSound – System sounds: turn off
•To turn off eco settings:
oPower – Eco: turn all options OFF

On your computer go to this url: https://a.dsig.tv/ and download the Android
file and place this in the root folder on a USB stick and insert into the back of
the TV.
NOTE: Do not import data if asked.
Go to the top and select Settings and then select Pro settings
•Allow Pro Mode to access photos, media and files on your device: Allow

•In Pro settings: Install APK – select application installer file (i.e: AndroidDS.apk)

oSelect Install
oAfter installation is done select Open
The signage app should now open and display the install code
•Access the signage management portal.
•Select add screen.
•Enter the Install Code presented on the screen.
After installation is completed, unplug the USB stick.

1.4.3 IMPORTANT
To get the TV to auto-start signage application you must activate this in the
signage management portal.
When TV shows up in the signage management portal, open settings for this
screen with the settings wheel when hovering mouse over the screen.
oOpen Actions – Player setup – Android – Autostart – Enable
oA message on the screen should display showing “Enabling
app autostart”
oConfirm that this is enabled in the portal by clicking on refresh
and the second lowest field should be: Android Autostart: enabled
1.4.4 Disable Pro settings
After the TV have been connected to the Signage management portal press the HOME
button on the remote to come back to the TV main menu.
Open settings in top right corner – Pro settings – Change to normal mode: OK
•Wait for TV to reboot
The TV should not display the blue bar with “Pro settings in process” anymore.
After Reboot the signage app will start after a short while.

2.1 TV software version
Use the Sony TV control and press the Home button
Select Settings in top right corner and open About.
2.2 Changing network type
Use the Sony TV control and press the Home button
Select Settings in top right corner
•Network – Network setup – Easy
oWired LAN – Connected successfully: OK
oWi-Fi – Connect by scan list
Select SSID
Enter password
OK
