Auto Channel Grouping Enjoy DVD movies that have the 5.1/6.1 audio converted to 7.1 channels. When a 5.1 channel mix is
present, auto channel grouping will route the discrete information for surround left/right directly to surround left/right outputs
while adding a new surround back left/right channel. When 6.1 channel mix is detected, auto channel grouping will route the
discrete information for surround left/right directly to surround left/right output while the 6th channel is duplicated by both
surround back channels (left/right).
Front A/V Input (with Optical Input) Due to the growing popularity of portable Dolby Digital® and dts® products with digital
optical outputs, the ability to easily hook these portable and transportable products up quickly is a great benefit to the customer.
Dolby® Pro Logic® II Decoding Creating surround sound requires only a stereo source. Listening to the radio, a CD, or an old
VCR tape in full surround sound. Anything stereo can be converted to digital signal and distributed to your front, surround,
subwoofer, and center speakers.
